Nuestro luminoso y acogedor condominio de dos habitaciones ofrece todas las comodidades del hogar.
El lado de la entrada da a un espacio tranquilo en el área verde y la parte posterior mira hacia el área de césped y la vista a la piscina con patio cubierto y barbacoa.
Piscina y jacuzzi a un minuto.
Estamos a una corta distancia a pie del spa Tigh Na Mara de clase mundial (votado como el # 1 en Canadá), la playa Rathtrevor y el parque provincial, numerosos campos de golf pintorescos y actividades familiares como el minigolf. Además, estamos seguros de que disfrutarás del legendario Black Goose Pub (construido en 1926) a solo 5 minutos a pie de nosotros.

We had a fantastic stay at Sandy’s place. It’s in the perfect location and the complex has great amenities- pool, park, tennis court. Access to the beach is a short walk- it’s a fairly steep hill for those who may have trouble with that but my kids 7,10 had no issues at all. Communication was great throughout the process. Thank you Sandy for sharing your place with us!

Wonderful stay in Parksville

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is amazing, and Ocean Trails has excellent amenities. Our favorite was the heated pool! Sandy was very responsive and the unit well equipped for both beach time and kitchen use.

Lovely beach holiday

Wonderful stay at Ocean Trails in Sandy’s condo. The place is great and super comfortable. Location close to the beach and pool can’t be beat. Great bbq and everything one needs in the kitchen.

Great family getaway

Two bedroom unit was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids with the second bedroom having twin beds. Had everything you needed. Beach access to Rathtrevor and the pool and hot tub were nice and appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Another Great Stay in Parksville

This was our second time staying in Sandy's unit. We love the proximity to the beach access and the pool area. Having a ground floor suite is great as the kids can spread out onto the large grassy area outside and the large dining table with BBQ is perfect for family meals. We definitely make use of the extras like beach chairs when we go to the beach and nearby lakes. Thanks for another wonderful holiday.

Great vacation spot

Excellent location within the complex. Right at the back in the quietest spot near the playground, swimming pool and beach pathway. Great outdoor space with dining area and BBQ. Well stocked kitchen with all the little things that you don’t have to buy while on vacation (Saran wrap, Tupperware containers etc). Bedrooms get a bit hot as they are west facing.

Great location

The location was amazing. Beach access pretty much right by your door, playground and pool out the bedroom sliders. Fast communication with the host. A lovely bottle wine upon arrival (thank you!). I would just suggest bringing your own Tupperware or hitting up the dollar store for some. We also picked up sandwich bags and plastic wrap. No big deal though and left it for the next people. We would most definitely stay again!

Sandy’s place has it all

We just stayed at Sandy’s for the second time and it was wonderful. There is so much to see and do in the area but it was hard to tear ourselves away from the beach and pool! The condo is located right next to the beach ramp, making it easy to carry our beach gear up and down and pop up for lunch. The pool and hot tub are so clean and well-maintained. The condo is stocked with everything we need and more- Sandy provides a BBQ, bikes, beach chairs and soft beach towels. The fans keep the place at a comfortable temperature. We biked up to Riptide Lagoon for mini golf and walked to the big barn for ice cream. Restaurants in the area are amazing but most close by 8pm. We can’t wait to visit again!

Looking forward to returning next year!

This is the first time we stayed at this unit, having stayed last year in Sandy's 3 bedroom unit. We actually preferred this unit for the proximity to the pool, the open grassy area off the back patio, and the ease to get to the beach access quickly. As always, Parksville doesn't disappoint. We look forward to our stay next summer.

Unit Close to the Beach

We had a wonderful vacation at Sandy's property in Parksville. The unit is a very short walk to the beach and over looks the pool and hot tub of the resort. The unit was clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed to make our stay great.

3rd times a charm

This was our 3rd time staying in this great unit. Unit itself is well appointed, and the location is perfect. You are steps from the pool (out the rear sliding doors) and the beach access (from your front door). Our kids loved the newly renovated pool area, and of course the amazing beach. Communication with the owner was great. Sandy responded immediately to all questions and concerns. We will be back next year!

Great location near Parksville and Rathtrevor Beach. Short drive to Coombes, Englishman River and many other fun places to visit! Host is very easy to get in touch with and responds quickly.

Perfect family getaway

Family of 5 did this trip, and was excellent. Lots of amazing food and amenities nearby. The parking wasn’t too far from the condo, and had sidewalk to the ground floor entrance. Other guests and community residents were friendly. The short trot down the walkway and rampway was fun for the kids and it was a beautiful place to come out on the beach for low tide searching and high tide adventures. Extremely excellent hot tub setup, kids loved it (pool looked like it would be great in normal season).

Disappointing Stay

I have never left a negative review at a property I have stayed at with Vrbo This unit in our opinion needs a thorough sanitizing and update The things that needed to be addressed ,in a time where cleanliness is so very important are many ..... 1.The shower curtain liner was extremely smelly,old and dirty 2.The sheets on the second bedroom were old and rough as well as the pillows were very old and flat 3.The stovetop set off the smoke detector the FIRST and only time we used There was burnt food under the burners 4.The toaster and sink area had not been cleaned properly 5.The fridge was dirty 6.The screen door in the second bedroom was missing Could not open the blinds as the verticals adjuster pole fell off in my hand as I turned it 7.The washing machine was not working. A problem they’ve evidentially had before 8.The shower fixture did not work properly Too many things to list The owner did try to assure me that’s things would be fixed but we felt that they should be addressed between renting out the property ...as we didn’t want repair men in while were trying to relax Overall we loved the short walk to the beach ...but I had the worst sleep and had to go out to eat as I didn’t want to clean the kitchen from someone else’s mess before we cooked We were not satisfied with this property and at no time were we offered a reduction in rate or a refund We’ve stayed at several Vrbo properties and unfortunately not this one ever again Not the way a person wants to remember a holiday!

We fell in love with island life during our frequent visits to our son's young family in Nanaimo. The tranquility of Parksville, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, really drew us. We have recently purchased this two bedroom condo to get away from the concrete jungle. Having been a Senior Travel Consultant for the past 30 years for a major Canadian travel agency, I love to travel. My work has provided me the opportunity to see the world, something I am extremely grateful for. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, travelling, and spending time with my family over wine, laughs and my husband's delicious cooking.
