Incluye una cocina totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos nuevos y una barbacoa para todas sus necesidades de cocina

Dan’s waterfront cottage is located by Cape Hurd in close proximity to Fathom Five National Park, Tobermory and the beautiful Bruce Trail. The cottage had a great set-up, beds were very comfortable, great games and the most beautiful sunsets and waterfront views. We enjoyed campfires and star gazing from the beautiful backyard. Cottage was clean, had great amenities, and exceeded our expectations. Dan responded in a timely manner when we had any questions for him.

Exactly as described, the cottage is cozy and spacious. The location is secluded but close to town. The waterfront is wonderful. As an artist, I loved the rocky beach and clear water. My sons enjoyed the paddle boarding and everyone enjoyed the evening camp fire. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. The welcome bottle of wine and cheerful card from Dan and Lesley was much appreciated. Thanks for a great holiday!

Classic Cottage Experience

The Waterfont Cottage had everything we needed and more. Great location, plenty of space, and was well equipped with all the little things you forget you needed.The hosts were incredibly prompt with their responses and helped make for a great stay.

Secluded gem near the tip of Bruce Peninsula. Spectacular sunsets on a rocky shoreline. We enjoyed many of the excellent amenities offered. It’s minutes from Tobermory and other attractive destinations. The cottage is beautiful inside and out, and well stocked with all the conveniences. Super clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

I gave the Waterfront Cottage a 5 star review because, admittedly, it is a 5 star property. However, I considered giving a much lower rating due to the fact that nowhere in the listing did it say I needed to bring my own bed linens and bath towels. Luckily, I read another review and emailed Dan the day before we arrived, so the crisis was averted. My only other issue was with the cleaning requirements. They seemed a little excessive, and again, not explained in the listing, only when you arrive. Having said all that...we were extremely impressed with the property! The view is spectacular, the beds are very comfortable, the place was spotless, and the extras (we only used the kayaks) were great! The beach is shale, so bring water shoes/flip flops for water access. Would I stay again? 100% absolutely. Our family had a fantastic, peaceful stay.

Beautiful views

We stayed with family for 3 nights in this beautiful cottage . Lovely views . Cottage was clean ,host had several board games for kids . Tobermory is beautiful . Water is clean . As it was cold we did not go in water but would have been very good for someone coming in summer . Would have been nice to have sheets , towels included with the stay so guests don’t have to worry about brining these. Few extra things / staples in kitchen would have been helpful like coffee. We were here for Easter weekend and many places were closed nearby .

Great Stay

We had a lovely time at the cottage this past weekend. There was plenty of room for just the 2 of us, it's very private and quiet and the lakefront is beautiful, my husband even went for a quick dip in the cold lake! The wood stove and hot tub were great for chilly evenings. We also did some great hiking near The Grotto which was only about a half hour away.

Fantastic cottage

A fabulous cottage that had everything that we needed. Our adult children paddle boarded, kayaked and biked with all supplied. Owner quickly responded with the few questions/concerns that we had. We would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful Cottage with Spectacular Sunsets!!!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this cottage! The location is close to town and also hiking trails in the national park and along the Bruce Trail. We spent the morning sipping coffee by the waters edge, then kayaked, flew kites and went on hiking adventures each day of our stay. We went for ice cream in town and enjoyed the uniqie and beautiful sunsets by the campfire every evening. Swimming was also a big hit with the kids...we paddle boarded and snorkeled. The beauty of nature at this location is phenomenal. We saw butterflies, frogs, rabbits, squirrels, eagles, ducks and seaguls. Amazing cottage for families to spend quality time together and make cherished memories ❤️

Relaxation Station

We loved our stay! Such a great spot to check out Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park. Sitting in the Blue chairs by the lake each night to watch the sunset was our favorite. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make meals each day. The beds were so comfortable and we slept well our entire stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful place to rest & recharge!

Stayed 3 night, the place was beautiful, exactly as it was described/shown in pictures. Very clean, right on the water. Check-in/out instructions were very simple and clear. The host was very responsive when we had questions. Overall 5/5, highly recommend staying here!

Un endroit à couper le souffle

Un endroit magnifique, magique. C’était pour fêter nos 15 ans de mariage (noce de cristal) et nos avons été plus qu’enchantés. L’eau était tellement claire, la vue sur le lac Huron…WoW !!! et que dire de notre chalet, tout était parfait. Le chalet était chaleureux, accueillant, d’une propreté remarquable. Nous avons fait 10h30 de route pour se rendre mais ça valait le détour. Merci à nos hôtes d’avoir permis cette magnifique escapade romantique qui a été au delà de nos attentes. Moi et mon mari avons été vraiment choyés et gâtés de toute cette attention Merci beaucoup pour tous

Lovely Getaway

The cottage had a beautiful view of the lake. It was nice to have two sitting areas outside, one on the deck and one closer to the lake. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful relaxing stay.

Dream place!

This place is amazing: location is great and calm, the lake view is extemely nice Beds were comfortable along with a welcoming interior. Everything has been thought of so that we can have a pleasant stay! The overall communication with the owners was always courteous and pleasant! We will go back for sure!

Relaxing week by the lake

Very well maintained property with private settings. A lots of water toys. Plenty of comforts including gas fire pit and jacuzzi. Very quiet neighborhood. Overall we had very enjoyable and relaxing stay
