We (five in total) arrived in Rome in the afternoon and checked into our apartment. It was situated in the perfect spot near the Piazza Navona, near everything one might need: Transportation, food, music, piazzas, and many of the great things Rome has to offer. We were buzzed in through the main door and climbed up a flight of stairs. We retrieved a key from a lockbox just outside another door, opened it, and entered into a vestibule with two additional doors, one on the right and one on the left. Instructions were to enter the door on the right. Our apartment was in clean order with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a pullout sofa-sleeper. We believed we had confirmed three bedrooms, but in the midst of our exhaustion, we chalked it up to not reading the posting correctly. We noticed the toilet constantly running, which irritated our sleep—the entire stay. We communicated this, along with fleeting hot water barely enough for two people, let alone five. After the second night we realized we in fact booked for three bedrooms and felt misled. We contacted the host, who clarified the other door in the vestibule led to the third bedroom. We found it and were elated! This third bedroom was not clear whatsoever but should have been.Would I stay here again? Probably not. The communication from the host took too long. The hot water was the other main issue.Pros: After discovering the third bedroom, this place offers great space. It is also close to many attractions.
