Adorable Logan Square Casa Unifamiliar

Compré esta casa en la primavera de 2016 y la he estado remodelando y actualizando. Hay 2 dormitorios en planta alta con un baño completo ubicado en el pasillo. Un dormitorio tiene una cama king-size y el otro dormitorio tiene una cama queen-size. El nivel principal tiene una sala de estar, comedor, cocina, tocador y otro dormitorio que utilizo como estudio de mi artista. Si es necesario, se puede colocar un AeroBed tamaño queen aquí. El nivel del sótano tiene un baño completo, sala de estar, área de lavandería, sala de billar y bar. Hay un sofá cama doble de espuma en el sótano. Finalmente, tengo un patio grande que está completamente cercado, junto con un garaje para 2 autos.

Home is very nice, and better than the photos indicated. Very clean with modern updates, decorated much better than the standard VRBO. Kitchen is very well stocked, with a nice coffee set up. Very dog friendly with kennel, dog beds and dog dishes. Back yard is well laid out, and garage has room for two vehicles. Lots of street parking, and good choice of local restaurants. Nice TV and sound system. Host is very responsive, and has a great information booklet.
Backyard and garage very handy.

A Real Taste of Chicago

This adorable home is in a safe neighborhood, and has it’s own backyard and garage!! It also a coffee bar and breakfast nook, and 3 bathrooms. AC works great- it was in the 90’s. Lots of great places to eat nearby, my favorite was Al’s #1 Italian Beef, and we went to place called the Royal Palms - a Shuffleboard Bar, they don’t have food, but there was a food truck there that day. It was super fun. House was well maintained, clean, and I would definitely recommend.

Comfortable home, thoughtful details, thorough communication

My husband, 8 month old, and I stayed here with my sister, her husband and their 14 month old for a weekend. We will absolutely stay again if we can! Dena's home is stunning! The beds are comfortable and the home is spacious. There are plenty of towels and extra linens. The detail of the check-in process and neighborhood guides are so thoughtful. Dena communicated clearly before our stay and I felt confident that if we needed anything while we were there, she would have helped as much as she could. But she has truly thought of every detail and set up her house in a way that you are all set! She goes above and beyond in her accommodations. You can tell that she is proud of her home and we are lucky that she shared it with us. The location of the neighborhood is great, too. You can hear the blue line, but it was by no means disruptive to sleep (coming from someone who lives in a very quiet neighborhood). We walked a lot to get around, and L-stops were also convenient. Don't miss the 606! We walked to it, (about 12 mins). Such a cool feature of the city!

Perfection! We chose the house because of the location. We were attending our daughter’s Army commissioning and graduation at DePaul in the same weekend. The house was perfect—location, clean, ammenities. We had a family dinner one night and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. We sat by the fire pit one night, we sat in the breakfast nook each morning for coffee and enjoyed the sun. It felt like we were at home. The absolute best VRBO we have ever stayed at.

Spacious, clean, well equipped

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Dena’s home. It was so clean and well appointed with everything we needed, and in such a great neighborhood. We enjoyed the front and back yards during good weather, and were appreciative of the fans and a/c on hotter days. We were able to walk to many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. And Dena was always quick to respond and very helpful if we needed her. Would stay again in an instant!

Logan Square Gem

This was a terrific home for a holiday stay with our grown kids. We chose Logan Square because our daughter lives close by. The home was very clean and cute! It was pet friendly and didn't smell like dog. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in front yard where he could people watch! There were lovely touches in the home and it was all decorated for Christmas for us to enjoy. The Agora Market is great, little gourmet market very close to pick up anything you might need. The host did everything she could to make it a 5 star stay! Thank you!

Cozy home in a great neighborhood

This was such a great place to stay during our visit to Chicago. Neighborhood had many great restaurants and was close to public transport. Highly recommend!! We will stay here again the next time we are in town!

Beautiful property in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this immaculate and well-appointed property. The home had everything we needed and then some. We particularly enjoyed the private backyard and being able to walk to numerous restaurants and shops. The host (Dena) was very kind, responsive, and helpful. We highly recommend this property!

Logan Square comfort and convenience

Thank you for a wonderful four-night stay in your lovely home. The garage was a plus, the living room was a perfect spot to watch the Olympics with the family, and the bedrooms offered a peaceful night’s sleep. We will be in touch should we breeze thru town again!

Perfect Location and Fantastic Host

This house is amazing. Perfect for getting out to explore Chicago. Communication with the owner was great and she even had some art supplies out for our daughter to occupy her time when we weren't out exploring. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Chicago.

Wonderful stay!

The house and yard worked exactly as we hoped for my wife and I, and our daughter’s family including two grandkids and their dog! It was also well decorated and just had a nice feel to it. It’s easy to tell that Dena is a very caring person, and she’s an excellent host!

Home away from home

Adorable Cottage in a great neighborhood

This cute and colorful cottage is filled with charm and art. The main floor is ideal, with a comfy sofa, large and useful dining table, and super kitchen. There is an office on that level, as well as a breakfast nook in the back with great light. Downstairs you will find the washer/dryer, a bedroom, and a game room. The upper level is accessible by a narrow and steep stairwell. Two bedrooms and a very nice albiet small bathroom await. Your hosts, Dena and Dan, are as welcoming and friendly as possible. The downside is that there isn't a lot of space for your own things among the owner's items, but it's still worth a stay! Highly recommend.

Great, updated house with nice amenities

This house is a gem. Very well-maintained, clean, comfy high quality furnishings, and lots of unexpected amenities. Garage access was a plus. A Big open and updated kitchen, dining area, and living room made it easy to hang out with the family, prepare meals and relax. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Just beware, if you come during summer months and hot weather, the temperature in the house does not regulate very well from floor to floor. There is one cooling system that kept the basement frigid cold, the main floor fairly comfortable, but the upstairs was extremely hot. If you plan to come, you should check the forecast. If it is over 85°, I would contact the host to see if they have remedied the cooling situation. A simple portable air conditioner would have solved everything. We were hoping the host would have offered to provide this but during our stay she was traveling out of the country at the time and very difficult to reach with the time difference. We were given an emergency local contact and tried to ask for assistance. We suggested bringing in a portable AC unit, but the contact did not offer. As guests in the property, we felt this should have been a reasonable request given the circumstances. Other than this temperature issue, we did have a nice stay and I would recommend.

Great House And Great Location!

We all loved to stay at Dena’s house! It was very spacious and had everything you’d ever need in a house. The location is great, good restaurants within walking distance and a quick walk to the Blue Line to take into the city. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place that is close to the city but still has a very neighborhood feel.

This house is located on a terrific block. It's minutes away from all the action. Yet, it's a quiet oasis. The backyard garden is always something I look forward to enjoying especially after a hectic day.
