Sliding Rock Cabins se complace en ofrecer No Place like Doe, una cabina bellamente decorada que admite mascotas de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños con patio cercado, ideal para 1-2 parejas. Ningún lugar como Doe tiene el patio cercado más grande en nuestro programa, pozo de fuego y bañera de hidromasaje con hermosas vistas a las montañas. (bañera de hidromasaje en el nivel inferior, se accede a través del sótano sin terminar). Despierta y disfruta de las increíbles vistas del amanecer en una de las dos grandes cubiertas cubiertas. ¡Mantén los ojos bien abiertos para los ciervos que tienen el mismo nombre de "No hay lugar como Doe", ya que a menudo se encuentran aquí en Doe Run Rd! ¡Cada habitación tiene vista a la montaña! Cama King size en el dormitorio en el nivel principal con baño completo en suite, con TV de 40 pulgadas, reproductor de DVD; Cama king size en el loft de arriba con baño completo en suite, TV de 16 ", chimenea eléctrica y balcón Juliette. The perfect place to stay with pets! We came because we wanted a vacation with our dog and it was great. They had a dog bed, toys, treats, blankets, bowls, and a fully fenced yard. Duke absolutely loved sitting by the fire and enjoying the mountains!

Awesome secluded cabin

We very much enjoyed the place. It’s secluded and very quiet with awesome views of the mountains. We saw several deers multiple times. The fenced-in yard is huge and our dog enjoyed running around in it. The cabin is spacious, very clean, and has all the amenities we needed. We will definitely stay there again.

BEST Dog friendly stay

The cabin was completely clean and we were very happy with our stay. Even when I left my key in the cabin, they were there to let us in within 10 minutes. Sheets were left for our dog to get on the furniture, bowls, dog toys, and towels just for muddy paws, treats, and poop bags. Extremely dog friendly and very nice cabin. The hot tub seemed very new!

The Cabin has a very nice view of the surrounding hills and is quiet and secluded. The bed was very comfortable. The cabin is located only 10 minutes from east Ellijay with grocery stores and restaurants and about 15 minutes from the historic downtown Ellijay. The dirt road is compacted gravel and well maintained and posed no problems, even after several days of heavy rain.

Our pup loved running around the fenced-in yard and lower deck area. Down side was the home construction next door that started with tree removal and sawing every week day. Saturday and Sunday were very quiet and relaxing. The noisy part of the construction should be done soon so future rentals should be quieter. Overall it was a very good experience and we are considering coming back next year.

A Lovely Winter Vacation

This time we enjoyed the finished basement with new lounging couch, electric "fireplace" and TV. We also played a couple of Mrs. Pac Man tournaments. We didn't play pool, but the new table looks awesome if you're in to that! Construction just above the cabin made it a little unnerving to go to the hot tub during the daylight hours, but we enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub at night. Our experience with Sliding Rock has always been wonderful and we highly recommend them!

Road is mostly one lane gravel, so there is some maneuvering when their is opposing traffic. Might require 4WD in wet/bad weather. We enjoyed our stay. Only annoyance was the fence from the front porch main level to the nice big yard did not fully enclose so we had to improvise and leash walk from the house to the big yard, then the dogs had freedom to roam. Hopefully they can fix the fence so it can enclose and lock in both directions as implied in the promo picture.

The drive in was a little hectic since it had rained that day and our Rav 4 spun some tires going up the gravel but after that, we had no problems in and out. Our GPS took us to our cabin every time we used it with no problems and our cellphones worked great in this location. The fenced yard was perfect for our bassets. They loved being able to go out and roam. We will definitely consider renting with this company again if we visit Ellijay again.

NYE in the Mountains

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at No Place Like Doe over New Year's Eve! We were two couples so it was nice having separate bedroom spaces as the upstairs loft that appears open in the photos is now closed off. The deck views are spectacular and the hot tub is the best sunset location. The downstairs is under construction but allows easy access to the lower deck/hot tub and once it is finished, it will be a perfect hangout spot. Given the name, we hoped to see deer and were not disappointed on the first day of the year in seeing two up the hill. A great stay and we hope to return!
