Perfect weekend getaway!

The cabin was very easy access to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We had a wonderful time at the Apple Festival in Ellijay, and enjoyed walking around and exploring all of the shops in Blue Ridge. We were so very pleased with Sliding Rock Cabins. This is our second time staying with them and we will definitely be back again!

Spring Break At ACAR

The location was beautiful beyond belief- instant relaxation as soon as we rounded the corner to the back of the cabin and heard the water from the river. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well stocked with essentials. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog to play in. The roads in were well maintained and manageable even for a couple of flat road Floridians! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We can't wait to return to A Cottage At Riverside.

Peaceful cabin on the river

The road in is a little bumpy and narrow but not really a problem. As soon as you drive up to the cabin, you can hear the constant flow of the river. It's so nice sitting down by the river or on the porch, especially if it rains. The cabin it self is a little on the dark side but very cute and clean. Loved the rocking recliners. We were able keep the front door open because there is a screen door, so we could always listen to the river. And the large fenced yard is great for the dog, along with other dog amenities. The cabin is in a good location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The only "problem" the property manager (not VRBO) did not respond to a text regarding an issue (not an emergency). Would definitely recommend!!

We would highly recommend this rental. Very clean, had everything you will need to prepare meals, awesome fenced area for your dog, and sitting by the river is just the best. Our dogs felt right at home with dog toys , bowls and beds that were provided.

Greetings Dondra, Thank you so much for the wonderful review of "A Cottage at Riverside". It is a great cabin to unwind at, with the water easing on by. It is also a great cabin for tubing. We look forward to seeing you again!
