Qué mejor lugar para relajarse, tal vez pescar truchas de la cubierta, bajar por el río, remojarse en el jacuzzi cubierto (¡no hay gotas de lluvia en su vino!) Asado s'mores sobre la parrilla de fuego junto al agua, luego más tarde acurrucarse y disfrutar de una película junto a la chimenea de leña. Peaceful Retreat

The deck right next to the river was the perfect place to read, listen to the water, and sip on a cup of coffee. My second favorite place was the bedroom with a huge tv and a separate sunroom with a great view of the water and a separate door opening onto the deck right next to the hot tub. The size is great for one or two people, and my dogs and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin is pet friendly with bowls and towels for the fur baby and a fenced yard off the deck--great for letting the three of my fur babies out all at once. (I walk them separately on a leash.) Communication with the rental management was great. I left for home rested and with good memories.

We had a very relaxing time. Sweet cozy cabin in a beautiful place. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy! Can't wait to be back.

Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our time at River's Reach-the cabin was comfortable and cozy and the river's soothing sounds were great to sleep by.The small office directly overlooking the river was well set up and terrific.The only recommendation is to have the toilet seat changed and updated and to also start the process to have the dock repaired as it was damaged and we couldn't access the riverfront.The next door neighbor had just begun their dock repair process while we were there.The road isn't paved and while it wasn't terrible to get to the cabin-there were a lot of areas where the potholes were rather large.

We saw deer almost everyday! We were comfortable, but several items on the property, like the hot tub and living room furniture, are well-worn. The outside fire pit was in poor shape; plus, there was no swing nearby, like pictured. The rather long, non-paved road to get to the cabin was dicey at times. Some drivers might be uncomfortable navigating it, but we had no issues. I suspect those who want to venture out everyday, like for sight-seeing or meals, would not choose a place so deep in the woods. We were quite content at this cabin, and have no problem recommending it, but would likely pick a different cabin in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great. Short drive to either Elijay or Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect for our 20th anniversary trip. We sat on the deck or the steps and listened to the river. The only thing that would make this cabin better would be to have the Wi-Fi password so that our cell phones would function. We did appreciate that there was a land line and gave the number to family for emergencies.

This property was very nice. We enjoyed listening to the river while sitting outside and in the hot tub. Everything was very comfortable and our dogs liked it as well.

The hot tub was also perfect location and views. Highly recommend for a weekend away. We also love to cook breakfast and light dinners. The kitchen was perfect for this!

A few days at the river

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, the cabin was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It also had most everything we needed for cooking and grilling.However, the road getting to the cabin was outrageously horrible. Also the bed is so noisy that simply turning over wakes everyone in the room. Also, the furniture in the den is not comfortable. We enjoyed our few days there, but left a day early because there was no chance of sleeping in the noisy bed and leaving the cabin required driving down a road that is basically not safe to travel.

Everything was as described and the cabin is very well maintained(would maybe recommend replacing the sofa in the near future). Only slight issue was the road was pretty rough getting to the cabin but that was expected. Overall we all had a great time and can’t wait to come back soon.
