High above Maggie Valley with fantastic mountain views this cozy cottage is waiting for you! Relax on one of the decks and soak up the view! This cottage is located in the gated community of Laurel Heights at a cool 4800 feet in elevation. Just the place for your mountain vacation get away!

Featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, the main floor of the cottage has a bedroom with walk out deck, full bathroom with a shower, living room, kitchen, dining area and large covered and open deck to enjoy the outdoors and a screened porch for comfy relaxing. Upstairs is a loft with three twin beds and a half bath. Go outside and down some steps to a recently renovated private suite with king bed and bath.

This home sits above the Maggie Valley Club where seasonal amenities for additional fees include golf, pool and a public restaurant.
Conveniently located near Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville it’s the perfect location to enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

With the high elevation and great views, the access is a curvy paved road. Put your vehicle in low gear going down! Be ready for ice or snow in winter months.

The neighborhood is a wildlife preserve. You may see deer, wild turkey and bears during your visit.

The pictures actually do not do the views justice! We pulled up and were in absolute awe of the beauty at this property. The house was cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing, mountain getaway. Hoping to come back soon!

Loved the view! That was the reason I booked this cabin! The beds were nice & comfy. The water pressure was nice. It was nice to have a separate room downstairs. It says it doesn't have a grill, but the fire pit does have a grate that you can cook on. Can cook over coals or wood. Our steaks & potatoes were delicious! :P

It was amazing to sit on the porch a watch the beautiful sunrises every morning. We had a family of wild turkeys near the end of the driveway which were fun to see. It was a lovely place to stay and I would certainly go back next summer to escape the heat.

Beautiful views

We had a wonderful time at this home! It was a super long drive up to the house (15-20 min) but it was so worth it when you see the views. Home was comfortable and you felt you could relax like you were home! We will definitely be back…

The house is lovely and the mountain view is fantastic. I would suggest that the owners fix the rock grill outside. It appears that the trees have taken over it. The trees also need to be pruned in the driveway area.I would have loved to use the hammock, but it was just the frame. Overall, the house is great and the views are amazing. I love the deck on the back of the house!

Mountain Trip

Great property with incredible view. The cabin was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. Communication with the host was great. I enjoyed the cool mountain mornings and spent most of my time at the cabin however Maggie Valley and Waynesville were just a short drive away. The best amenity was being able to open the large glass doors and enjoy the cool mountain air with a great view from a comfortable recliner!

Perfect views, very relaxing

Roomy place with spectacular views, wife loved the private screened porch, the double slider that opens up the whole LR to Mountain View’s was great One of bedrooms with full bath was detached and a nice bit of privacy if staying with more people

Smoky Mountain Vacation

Quiet mountainside cottage with beautiful view

Cottage was just as advertised. Beautiful view and convenient location near a Blue Ridge Parkway access. Suzy was quick to respond to any questions regarding the residence.

Awesome view!

We thoroughly enjoyed Cheryl's cottage! The view is amazing, and the sunrises were absolutely wonderful! Our host Suzy was awesome, great communication, we had some snow one night and she made sure to keep us updated on road conditions! Overall this stay was perfect, will definitely be going back!

Getaway with a View

We rented the property for 4 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The ever changing views of the mountains was spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We give it a 5 star rating and in the future... we may do it again.

Mountain Get Away

Fantastic views. The place was as advertised. Very nice and comfortable. Long drive with winding road up the mountain, but well worth it for the views and privacy. Lots of wildlife in the area but close to all the amenities that you might want good shopping and restaurants close by. Will definitely return!
