We loved this place! We had a groundhog, bunnies, baby bobcats and a bear in the yard. Could have used a hand can opener, but everything else was wonderful.

We had a great stay! The mountain views were absolutely gorgeous, and the space was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We loved being able to see all the wildlife in the yard right from the porch while drinking our coffee! Would definitely recommend.

Very cool rental in Waynesville - fantastic clean home with wonderful mountain views. The location is perfect for restaurants, shopping, hiking, golf and other in Waynesville - Maggie Valley and up to Cherokee. Very pleased with our stay! Note: the bed is a double bed not a king bed. Cooking can be a challenge with no traditional oven - but the microwave-convection-air fryer worked fine for us.

Beautifull views, clean place. It's an apartment, not a full house. Good for 2 adults maybe with small children, and not if you like cooking. Just 2 burners minimum utensils and 3 plates. We managed and enjoyed, thought. Road very noisy if seating on the poarch. Inside noise is well insulated. Also loud AC. But other than those few things, enjoyable.

We recently stayed at a vacation rental near the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The house was very clean upon arrival and had a fresh, pleasant smell that made it feel immediately welcoming.One of the highlights was definitely the view—absolutely stunning scenery of the mountains that made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for getting away and unwinding.Overall, the home was well-maintained, comfortable, and exactly as described. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful views near the Smoky Mountains.

This condo is a GEM! We traveled as a family of 4. We were amazed when we arrived for many reasons. The property was so clean and brand new! There was the perfect amount of space for my husband and two girls. The condo was beautifully decorated and so relaxing and comfortable. My favorite part was the view with all the beautiful, big windows! We slept like babies and did not want to leave when it was time to go home. The host was gracious, kind, and timely with responding. We will definitely be back. Since we were there for a wedding, some of my family members dropped in to see the place and they were impressed and will consider a future stay as well. Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful!

The unit specifies a 6 person occupancy, a king bed, and family-friendly bunk beds. The “king bed” is actually a full. There were insufficient dishes to feed six (only 3 large plates, etc.). The dining table only has seating for 4. At registration we specified 5 people.The linens for the pullout couch were unavailable until after the first night after back and forth with the host.The view is truly wonderful, and the deck is comfortable particularly in the morning. In the afternoon, the unit is flooded with light in the setting sun. Be ware if you intend to cook in the unit: only half the pans work on the two burner induction stove and the “oven” is an undersized microwave/convection oven combo.The unit is above a second rented unit at the top of a hill. Water pressure was inconsistent. The use of any water in either unit resulted in banging and popping pipes. Due to standard wood construction, footsteps, normal volume conversations, and appliance use can be heard between the units, consistent with apartments. The result is that this unit is not family-friendly if the second renter is at all sensitive to noise.We were looking forward to a chill week, cooking together as a family and playing board games (geek euro-style, not party games). We were accused by the host of being overly loud and disrupting the renters below us for simply being in the unit. The combination of complaining second renters and the host threatening escalation ruined much of our vacation.

This was our second time staying here, and it was great again. It’s very clean and modern, and the view is unbeatable. Like truly! Because of the way the listing was, we booked thinking we were going to be in the top unit but later learned it was actually the first floor. The host was very gracious, responsive, and apologetic, and took great steps and care in accommodating us. We are already planning on returning again in the future. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This new VRBO was very clean and looked just like the photos, which is rare. The view was neat and looked over the road and some construction which was cool to watch.Unfortunately, the listing was inaccurate in that there is not a full kitchen. There was no oven. While there was a 2 burner induction cooktop, there was only one very small sauce pan that would fit. Confusing matters more, there was a full set of cookware that wouldn't work at all - the cooktop wouldn't even turn on. The microwave and fridge were full size and worked well.Because there wasn't a 'Welcome Book', my companion and I had to figure things out. We spent about 20 minutes fiddling with and Google'ing how to work the cooktop. Very annoying as we weren't able to cook the food we brought with us with what was there. We had to make a trip to Walmart to get a pan and a spatula as there wasn't one of those either. (The owner wasn't able to get those shipped to us in time.)There were also no instructions on working the keypad to get in. Typically, keypads are relatively similar. Not this one, and there were 2 door knobs that required both hands.I appreciated the low cost to rent and the neat view, but it was like staying in an escape room- way too much thinking involved. I wouldn't recommend for families. We burned up what we saved with a 1 hour round trip to Walmart for a pan and spatula.
