Overall very happy with villa, had everything we needed ,pool was great shops about 5 minute drive. Definitely recommend, only downside was the mosquitoes but thats Spain . Nothing wrong at all with villa or hosts . Would go again .

Excellent villa in a great, peaceful location

Mig Coster is a lovely villa that we'd highly recommend to other travellers. We often stay in this area (Torret / San Lluis, South West Menorca) and have stayed at numerous different villas there over the last 10+ years. This is a really good one. Spacious, well-appointed, clean, well laid-out, large pool, lovely grounds. It's close to Sa Botega de Su' Estra (great locally-owned "supermarket" that the expats call Harvey Nicks!) and a short journey from the coast, Mahon, San Lluis, etc. The area is peaceful, too. Javier, the owner, is brilliant and made it all so simple for us. Don't be put off by the lack of air con. We thought it might be too hot at night without it, but it's fine. We certainly didn't have any problem sleeping! Thank you, Javier - we will return!

Large and peaceful villa in a great location

Excellent location close to beaches, a local supermarket and the lovely town of Sant Lluís a short drive away with lots of restaurants, even a few within walking distance. The villa is well equipped and the rooms are all of a good size. The living area is very comfortable and my family appreciated being able to watch British sports channels! A nice bbq area with a pizza oven is located just outside and a large covered space offered shade by the pool. A couple of cons for us are:- the main bedroom, which is huge really could do with a much bigger and more comfortable bed. Also, additional outside furniture especially a dining table and chairs for the bbq area. All in all we had a fabulous holiday in Mig Coster and Javi was only a text away if we had any questions and very accommodating. Thank you for a lovey stay in your villa Javi.

A wonderful house!

This was a really comfortable and pleasant house to stay in. It's nicely decorated and well-equipped, with nicely designed shade and seating near the pool, with a large rural area surrounding it. There's a house quite close by, but we hardly heard a thing from the neighbours. Unlike some other reviewers, we found the house stayed very cool if we used the shutters, and we also found the fans in every room worked really well to keep us cool overnight. The only slight disappointment was that there wasn't any furniture in the shaded barbecue area, nor any umbrellas to use by the pool - these were shown in the photos of the property. However, there was enough shade by the pool, so neither were huge issues. A lovely house, and really great helpful communications throughout...thank you!

Bonita casa menorquina

La situación de la casa es ideal, la casa la encontramos bastante fresca, algo que nos alegró por que no tiene aire acondicionado. Esta bien equipada aunque quizas estaria bien añadir un poco más de sombra en la zona de las tumbonas al lado de la piscina, una sombrilla como la que sale en las fotos estaria fantástico. Otra recomendación serian cojines para los bancos del comedor de la terraza exterior y un mantel. Por lo demás hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia en esta casa.

Lovely well-located villa in traditional Menorca style

This is a lovely villa in a great location. Minutes from Binibequer beach, 1 min drive from a well-stocked supermarket, and less than half-hour drive to a variety of great beaches (Es Grau, Sa Mesquida, Calacoves to name a few!). As it's on a large property, privacy and tranquility is guaranteed. The owner was very accommodating with our arrival and departure times, and the gardener/pool maintainer very discrete but friendly. I would love to have given it 5 stars, but we found sleeping to be uncomfortable: the majority of the beds have old mattresses, some worse than others. Only one room has a ceiling fan, the rest have industrial fans which are far too noisy for sleeping but once turned off, the rooms are too hot. The combination was not conducive to a good night's rest :-( Pros: proximity to beach, supermarket, multiple restaurants, Splash Sur water park. Enormous grounds, great pool and outdoor space. Fast internet. Big TV with hundreds of UK, US, EU channels. Cons: old mattresses, lack of silent fans, small kitchen (but well-equipped!) Overall a great villa and a lovely holiday, and if the issues with beds and fans are solved we'll be back :-)

Lovely Stay!

Really lovely holiday! the house has everything we needed. The layout was nice and sociable. The outdoor space was great and the pool was lovely!. Communication with host was very good and they came to fix the TV when we couldnt get it to work.

Mala experiencia

La casa esta muy lejos de todo. Ademas, al estar en el medio del campo está hasta arriba de bichos. En mi habitacion me encontré desde mosquitos, moscas o avispas hasta lagartijas caminado por ahí. La casa es oscura y el jardín impracticable de lo descuidado que está. Además el propietario tuvo una actitud cuestionable con nosotros. En general bastante mal, pero lo peor sin duda los bichos y animales que invaden la casa.

La casa ha cumplido nuestras espectativas, amplia, cómoda bien equipada y con un diseño funcional La piscina es grande te permite nadar y no sólo darte un chapuzón, la barbacoa da mucho juego nosotros la hemos aprovechado. La situación de la casa te da mucha independencia, sin ruidos y muy bien comunicada, nosotros intentaremos volver La amabilidad es una seña de identidad tanto del propietario como de la persona de mantenimiento

Mejor imposible

Pocas veces va todo TAN BIEN. La isla ya la conocíamos pero poder sentirte como en casa nos ha permitido disfrutar al máximo de las vacaciones. La casa ha superado nuestras espectativas. Preciosa, amplia y bien equipada. La piscina impecable y la barbacoa, una maravilla. Destaco también la disponibilidad, flexibilidad y amabilidad de Javier, el propietario. Ojalá pueda volver pronto

The very best relaxing holiday we have had.

I have been coming to Menorca for over 40 years, and for me, the island is my absolute sanctuary and somewhere very close and special to my heart. Accomodation, however, has not always been so reliable and we have made mistakes in booking villas through other websites and been very dissapointed with them. This house, was more than we had hoped for and was absolutely stunning!! The peaceful rural location was perfect , only 8 minutes to Binibecca beach and a little further for some of the more secluded coves and beaches. Only 15 minutes from the airport but no disturbance from the planes at all, only a few smaller jet propelled planes coming in to land in San Luis now and again supplied lots of interest and amusement. The position of the house and its beautiful grounds was just so perfect, we hardly moved from the place. And for me, the best bit was having the well stocked La Botega D' Suesttra supermarket only 3 minutes drive away, so no need to go to the bigger hypermarkets. The house was beautifully done and really well equipped with everything you could need. and even had an extra freezer in the laundry room. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and we also used the BBQ in the cooler annexe which was the perfect spot for the evenings. The bathrooms were all fabulous with powerful showers and lovely towels supplied. Crisp, cotton bedding was lovely and just what I had hoped for in this climate. and lots of storage space in the bedrooms. There were elctric fans supplied for all the rooms, but I do think it is a shame there were no ceiling fans. Wi fi connection was excellent too, which was important to us as we still had to work. The pool was beautiful and a great size with plenty of lovley comfortable sun loungers around it. A little more shade nearer the pool would have been nice though. Having fresh sheets and towels changed once a week was wonderful too. From the minute we arrived Javier was immediately on hand by phone if there were any problems at all, and so quick and helpful to sort. Carlos, the gardener was amazing too and very kindly helped us sort our parking ticket ( from Cuitadella) Back in London now to grey skies and cool air, I miss the sound of Cicadas, the dragon flies by the pool, the sun, the midnight stargazing on the terrace, and everything about that place. I can't wait to return for longer next time. Thank you so much Javi, for everything!

great stay

We had an amazing stay in this house. the house was really beautiful, the swimming pool was great and the garden was very nice as well. Javier was really flexible and arranged everything we needed such as an extra baby bed and a high chair.

Beautiful location & amazing outdoor/pool area!

This villa was in the perfect location. 5 mins down the road to Binibeca with restaurants and shops. 10mins to Mahon which is a bigger town with lots more restaurants and shops. Plus a super market 2 min drive from the villa. We wanted a private villa with a pool in a quiet destination but close to shops, etc.. and that’s exactly what we got. It was very spacious, wildlife in the garden and peaceful. The host and cleaners were always checking up on us and replied straight away if needed. Overall amazing stay. The only downside, I would have to agree with the other reviews that it would benefit from having air conditioning. The fans just seem to blow around hot air and it’s very humid in the house. You can’t leave the doors open as all the bugs come in. We stayed in August so was one of the hottest months.

Fantastic!

we had a fantastic stay in Javi's house, everything was clean and the property is huge, so it was perfect for our group. We loved the location which isn't directly at the beach but more in the inland, so it's very quiet and you can be on your own as a group or family. Nevertheless you have several nice beaches and towns roughly 10 minutes away by car. Since Menorca is quite small you can reach almost every part of the island in around 1h by car. All in all we totally recommend to come to this house if you want to spend some nice time with your friends or family. Javi was very polite and was always there for us if we had any problems. 👍👍👍

Eine Villa zum Wohlfühlen

Wir (zwei Paare, zwei Einzelpersonen und zwei Hunde) haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villa verbracht. Das Haus ist für spanische Verhältnisse erstaunlich gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Aussenbereich mit Pool, Grillbereich und grossem, gepflegtem Garten war einfach nur ideal für Mensch und Hund. Die Lage ist ruhig, trotzdem sind der nächste Supermarkt und die Stadt Mahon schnell erreichbar. Ein Auto ist aber unbedingt erforderlich. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war unkompliziert und alles hat bestens funktioniert. Wir haben uns in der Villa sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub auf Menorca

Die Villa mit Pool liegt sehr ruhig und man kann herrlich entspannen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Mahon sind nicht sehr weit entfernt. Das große Grundstück war ideal für die Kinder zum Spielen. Das Wasser im Pool war sehr angenehm, so dass die Kinder sich richtig austoben konnten. Einzig die Schnaken waren etwas lästig, aber im Haus lässt sich das ja mit entsprechenden Mitteln regeln. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm, hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen

Somos un matrimonio de 59 años, con residencia por motivos de trabajo y familiares en Palma de Mallorca. Tenemos tres hijos y un nieto. Nuestra principal afición es conocer la sociedad mallorquina a traves de sus mercados y fiestas. Soy muy aficionado a la bicicleta y a disfrutar del mar, sus playas y pueblos.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Esta casa fue construida por nosotros en 1999 para disfrute familiar, ya que consideramos Menorca por su cuidado y conservación como la isla más privilegiada de las Baleares y, hacemas uso de ella, tanto mis hijos como nosotros, siempre que el trabajo y la situación nos lo permite.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

La casa es muy acojedora y tranquila, destaca su intimidad y su situación ya que se puede desplazar al super y pueblo con un simple paseo. Sus alrrededores son para disfrutar mediante paseos y poder apreciar la arquitectura de sus casas, su vegetación y las paredes secas que delimitan las diferentes propiedades. Mis lugares preferidos son la zona ajardinada (cesped, piscina y barbacoa) y la luminosidad interior.
