Sentado en el borde de las aguas de Greenlaw Cove en un entorno tranquilo y sereno, este campamento encantador, bien cuidado e inmaculado exuda el antiguo encanto de Maine. Con un techo a dos aguas, un interior de pino, una terraza acristalada y un plano de planta abierto, esta acogedora casa de campo, perfecta para dos personas, tiene una sensación interior espaciosa. La cubierta que se extiende a lo largo del frente da a la cala y ofrece un punto de vista encantador para observar las aves marinas y, ocasionalmente, la foca y la nutria. Small size but comfortable and gorgeous location

We enjoyed staying at Sea Green. The location is beautiful and the cabin is extremely comfortable and functional. We cooked in most nights and that worked well despite having a small kitchen the outdoor grill and burner for lobster pots was a huge plus.

Relaxing

The cabin is well maintained and had all the amenities I needed. My dog and I had a very relaxing trip, exploring the many preserves in the area and enjoying this peaceful spot watching the tide change.

WOW!!! Loved our 8 day stay at the Sea Green Cottage. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed, it felt just like home. Gorgeous location with the added bonus of being able to launch our kayaks from the cabin. We spent 3 days kayaking, 2 days walking the trails and 2 days in Acadia. We'll be back.

Fabulous cabin by the sea

We had a terrific time on deer isle. The cabin had everything you could want for a very delightful stay. The view was spectacular. We loved sitting on the deck watching the water and the sunrise, digging for clams , and relaxing by the wood burning stove in the evenings. This was the perfect cabin and location for a relaxing get away.

Absolutely Perfect

My week at this little cottage was beyond my expectations! The owner was wonderful. The cottage had everything i needed. The views from the deck were amazing. I could just sit there, bird watch and observe the tide going in and going out.

Watchin the tide come in

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Green Cottage - 20' away from the high tide! Wonderful watching the water come in and go all the way out of the cove from the deck or from the many windows. We had chilly rainy days and the wood stove is well stocked and warmed the whole cottage. It is very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom does not have a ceiling of it's own and is located in the bedroom. Sound privacy might be an issue for shy folks. The cottage location is close to many public walks and access to the salt water shoreline. We would rent it again.

Exploring a new area

We decided to come to deer isle to explore a new area of the Maine coast since MDI and bar harbor were getting too crowded. The area where the cottage sits is beautiful and peaceful just like we wanted. The house was bigger than we expected. The house was very clean! The washer and dryer were great with a 12 year old getting in the muck. The only downside to the place was at low tide we couldn’t go down because it was mud flats. We were able to fish and kayak 3 hours before and after high tide. Plenty of other areas to go during low tide.

“Sea Green Cottage” in Deer Isle, Maine…A Perfect Coastal Getaway! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Sea Green Cottage. The home is beautifully maintained, incredibly well equipped, and offers every comfort you could ask for…including a very cozy bed. Mike, our host, was quick to respond to any questions and made us feel truly welcome and we even joked that we wished he were our neighbor! He knows the area inside and out and was a terrific resource. The cottage is private and peaceful, with the added bonus of watching seals from the sun porch and enjoying the beautiful birds that frequent the area. It was the perfect base camp for exploring Deer Isle and Stonington. We especially enjoyed dining at Finn and Fern and Crybabies in Stonington and both were excellent. The Barred Island trail was a standout…stunning, unspoiled, and deeply peaceful. There are so many scenic trails to discover throughout the area. Deer Isle is a special place, and Sea Green Cottage is the perfect spot to soak it all in. Highly recommended!

Ideal cottage for two!

Very peaceful, private, well equipped cottage right on the water. Great spot to watch wildlife. Close to everything Deer Isle has to offer. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. I highly recommend this property. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Sea Green was perfect for us: simple, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting right on Greenlaw Cove. The owner has done a terrific job to maintain the camp and couldn’t be more responsive and helpful with any concerns or questions.

The close proximity to the changing tide was stupendous. Mike was a perfect host, checking in to make sure all was well, which it most definitely was. It's a modernized camp, very clean, and was a wonderful retreat for us. Thank you!

Bette than expected

Our arrival was less than efficient. The address listed on the arrival info didn't match the signage that was supposed to direct us to the cabin. In the process of elimination, we finally found it. It's hoped that the listing agency changes that logistic. The owner stopped by after a couple of hours to checked in with us to ensure that we settled in. Surprisingly, the interior of the cabin looked nothing like the images on the VBRO listing. It was even much better. The interior had been completely renovated with a wonderful open space layout. We were looking forward to much cooler weather (that never happened) in hopes of using the wood stove. The new "look" should have been updated on the listing! The location is very convenient to Stonington center and the rest of the peninsula. We're looking forward to coming back.
