*Seabreeze on the Harbor 1 is one of two units in the house. It is the entire downstairs unit and has its own door and keypad.

Imagine sitting on the deck with a steaming mug of coffee or tea, taking in the sights and sounds of a working Maine Harbor. Watch the sun rise over islands and granite ledges dotting Stonington Harbor.

Walk out the front door and around the corner to find Stonington’s charming village. Grab an iconic lobster roll and meander through lovely gift shops and galleries that highlight the vibrant artistic community on island.

Families will delight in visiting nearby Sand Beach, a sweet sandy cove with picturesque views of surrounding islands and Mark Island Lighthouse.
Wander through the farmer’s market and find the perfect treasures to remind you of your Maine Adventure. Stroll across the street and let the kids play at the new playground while you enjoy your fresh cup of coffee.

For the adventurous, rent kayaks and paddle the surrounding waters, for those with gumption, sail to one of the nearby islands open to the public for day use. Take in the natural beauty of the island while exploring one or more of the many nature preserves protected by the Island Heritage Trust. Better yet, download a self guided nature tour to follow as you hike over lush mossy trails.

Perhaps off island calls to you…discover the Blue Hill Peninsula including the towns of Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Penobscot, Sedgwick and Surry. Only an hour and a half from Stonington is Acadia National Park, “Crown Jewel of the North Atlantic Coast.” Nature enthusiasts will be rewarded with magnificent views of granite peaks and rocky outcroppings thrusting into the sea.

Perfect! Very clean with extra touches of soaps, lotion, many books. Kitchen was well stocked. Lainey washer and dryer were huge and fairly new. Hostess very responsive. Beautiful view of the harbor.

Seabreeze is a beautiful waterfront home located within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Stonington. Wonderful view of the harbor! Nicole was the best host. Very kind and responsive to any questions. We loved our stay and hope to be back again!

We had an absolutely lovely time at Seabreeze on the Harbor 1 in Stonington, ME! We know Stonington pretty well, having stayed in the town many times over the past 2 decades. We love the area. However, we didn’t know was how much we were going to love this apt! The view of the working harbor is delightful, and the deck is a great place to have your morning coffee, as well as your evening libations. Inside, the renovated space is super comfortable, light and airy, well-decorated… just as you would wish a beach cottage to be! The place was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was well appointed with just about anything you could want. We also found the bed to be extremely comfortable. And waking up to this light-filled apartment was a dream! The location can’t be beat, as you can walk to all the restaurants, shops, and activities in town. Special thanks to Nicole, who greeted us warmly, and who was readily available to answer any questions we had. We look forward to returning!

What a Great Stay

Stonington is the best and being able to walk to everything made it even more special. We had an action packed stay with just enough down time sitting on the balcony watching the action too. Nicole and her sister made our stay perfect. So clean, so neat and perfectly appointed. A great Holiday Home.

Amazing views of the harbor! We fell in love with the town. Everything was easy to walk to. The house was very nice, clean and quiet. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a week! We would love to return. We felt like we immediately belonged there!

This Home deserves the highest rating possible. From communication to cleanliness to design, etc. etc. etc. My family has high standards for design and cleanliness and could not stop raving about the beauty and comfort this home provides. We adored every detail that made it feel like a home away from home! The decor, based on a lovely white and blue theme is stunning. The white walls and cabinets help your eyes focus on all of the little design details of the home and the stunning natural beauty of the seaside views. It was SPOTLESS & communication was amazing! I wish the owners were in charge of all VRBO rentals!!

Beautiful getaway

We visit the Acadia area frequently to see family and generally stay closer to Bar Harbor. We decided to stay a bit further away in Stonington and this home did not disappoint! The unit is perched directly over the harbor, providing stunning views of the ocean, sun and the active fishing community. The interior is beautifully updated and comfortable for our family of 4 and small dog. Stonington is off the beaten path but a nice respite from the crowds of Bar Harbor. Nicole was a terrific host. We'd definitely stay here again next time our travels bring us to Maine.

Delightful discoveries

We were a party of three sisters and an elderly parent looking for a quiet place near the water. The Seabreeze surpassed all our expectations and we spent our four days oohing ahing over each new detail we found in this beautifully appointed property, including furnishings, appliances, books, seashells, games and more. The weather was rainy and gray but we didn't mind at all, perched comfortably over a wonderful view. We took both floors and had more than ample space to spread out and enjoy our time. Thank you to our wonderful hosts who couldn't have been more attentive and kind while also respectful of our privacy.

Gem of a find

Lovely rental—amazing location adjacent to the main drag in Stonington but not right in it. Adorable setup. I loved that there were chargers already plugged in, ready for use. Also, the gift of blueberry jam from Nervous Nellie’s was a nice touch—thoughtful, appreciated, and enjoyed. One tiny quirk that no difference to our experience was that the primary br is accessed either through the main hallway outside the unit or through one of the bedrooms. Loved the fun mood lighting in the shower. Thanks for a great stay!

Better than the pictures!

I have stayed in many VRBOs and I always expect the place to be a little less picturesque than the photos depict. This place changed my view completely on that belief. The pictures are beautiful but the actual place is better than you could ever imagine. So grateful to have found this place for my first visit to Maine.

What a special little getaway rental! A beautiful, clean and spacious place with gorgeous views of the harbor and sunset. Decorated artistically and accommodations are thoughtfully planned out down to the last detail. Sun pours in through large living room windows in the morning, so cheerful. A sweet, quiet spot near shops and restaurants. Can’t wait to stay here again.

House will be good for a family of parents and 2 or 3 children. It located in a beautiful small fishing town, the views are amazing. The town has some good restaurants. The host is nice and accommodating. I would recommend to stay here.

The accommodations are of five star quality with a spectacular location on the water in Stonington. The hosts were timely and helpful with our inquiries. There is no need for me to look further. Whenever I return to Deer Isle, this is the place I want to stay!

Charming Cottage On The Water

This lovely cottage was bright and clean and so inviting! Charming nautical theme that mimicked the area. Terrific emails for directions to the cottage. We were appreciative of the toiletries (they are not always provided.). There is a coffee pot, but we didn’t know it. Lots of books and games - I wish we had more time to enjoy it. The only suggestion I would make is that the master shower is a little slick — a floor mat for inside the shower would be great.

Light Filled and Surrounded by Water

We were very touched and thrilled with this place. The light in the living room with the light tones of the furniture gave us a sense of calm, very different from anything we've experienced. Everything was clean and well organized. The books that filled the property were rich and really interesting. Nicole was very responsive when we reached out with a question or request. We're trying to figure out when to come back for a longer stay.

Magical Maine

It was a long drive to get to Stonington from Portland, but the moment we walked through the light-filled rooms of SeaBreeze 1 (the lower of two units) and out onto the deck, and took in the harbor below, the seagulls above, the dingies and lobster boats at their moorings, framed by old piers and pilings and a priceless view of the islands beyond, we all just heaved a big sigh of pure joy and said (variations of) "This is exactly what we were hoping for!!" Seabreeze is perfectly named--indoors or out, you always feel a breeze (assuming the windows are open), and you can see or at least sense the ocean at every turn. The decor is lovely, nautically themed but not excessively so, with a handful of cleverly decoupaged seashells here and there, lobster-trap weave in place of porch balusters, fresh flowers inside and growing in pots and in gardens outside, and the most comfortable Hans Wegner-style folding chair ever made. The unit was pristine, perfectly adequate for four adults, with 3 nicely appointed bedrooms, 2 spotless baths, a nice kitchenette, plenty of dishes, a TV we never watched and a dining table we never sat at, as we much preferred the view, the comfy chairs and the little wrought iron table on the deck. Plus the town is literally steps away, and even though Labor Day was past, we still had several great restaurants to choose from--Crybabies and Stonecutters Kitchen were fantastic--and lots of shops and galleries. A dream getaway, with a complimentary jar of jam!

Lovely Home with a Stunning View

Lovely 3 bedroom house with a deck overlooking Stonington Harbor and the Merchant Row islands. The house was well-stocked with everything one needs, comfortable and immaculate. Great access to the boat ramp for kayakers and nearby restaurants and charming Stonington village. Owners were very helpful and responsive to our questions. Will definitely return!

We were enchanted by the charms of Maine years ago and couldn't help but wander back to this magical land. As soon as we crossed the Deer Isle bridge, we knew this island was special.
