Unfortunately due to miss communication with the host on their end. Our experience ended with 7 people stranded in NJ. Vrbo reimbursed the money back to me in full. I will say the home is beautiful. But not answering me, the company, or the doorbell camera resulted in a bad review.

Vacation

Home was exactly as described by owner. Linda was responsive to my questions before our stay began and there were no hidden surprises. The home very clean, neighborhood was quiet and safe. The home was in close proximity to Six Flags, beaches and shopping plazas. We enjoyed our stay and I’d certainly book this venue again if the need arises.

The house is as described and pictured, and the property is beautiful. Unfortunately, we had several small issues throughout our short 2-day stay that would have been fine if the host had accommodated us reasonably, but they refused and accused us of lying despite photo evidence.There was a dead mouse in the shower, significant mold in the kitchen trash cans, and a significant leak from the shower into the living room which is evident from previous reviews. The front step is broken off completely, causing one of us to stumble. The host claims there is security footage and that this never happened. All that we requested was a refund of the cleaning fee, and we were denied this simple request.

Peaceful location in Jackson

My mom, 2 adult sons and I stayed her for a week. The location was perfect for us. The deck is huge and welcoming! The beds were extremely comfortable. The house is spacious and we could be all together or spread out because there are lots of options.Would stay here again!

Six Flag Retreat

The overall stay was good. The location was about 10 minutes from Six Flags NJ and 35 minutes from the beach. The check-in process was a bit off as I did not receive the email with the door lock combination and was delayed about an hour getting into the house. The house itself was nice. The wi-fi was not very good, but we weren't there to watch TV anyway. Overall a pleasant experience and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to stay near Six Flags NJ.

Convenient location

The house was nice but the location was even better for our short stay. Conveniently located for our trip between two different destinations. Few hiccups with amenities but the host was prompt in fixing them and very apologetic.

Great Host, Clean House, could use some updating

The host was excellent and communicated quickly. The house was clean, and a really good size. The house could use some updating - new paint, bed frames, etc. Otherwise, was a good place to stay.

Comfortable and quiet

The house is very spacious in a nice quiet neighborhood. It could use some sprucing up, but for the price compared to others in the area, it’s acceptable. A functional place to stay. We needed a place for 7 weeks and this worked out well

What a great place for our family gathering

This was our 'home base' as we all came into town for a wedding. The house was perfect - plenty of space to spread out and wazoos of sleeping space. The teens were a little big for the bunk bed steps, but they made it work. When we were considering the rental, the owner was on top of our questions; she did warn us all bedrooms and showers were upstairs - as the parents in their 80's would need to navigate the stairs. We discussed it with famly and so very glad we did choose to stay here. The only thing that would have made the stay better was more sunshine ... and that's not something anyone can control. By the way, loved the early morning deck scene (see the deer in the photo). Our stay was so wonderful, we are consideriong another family gathering next year.As far as other comments about the house not being maintained - this was a great rental!! Highly recommend

The place is big enough for a large group, backs to a nice woodsy area, and is reasonably priced for its size... probably because the home has some deferred maintenance issues, let's say. The guest bathtub valve is hard to work, the plumber was just there to fix a leak, the front door lock is funky, some of the deck chairs are on their last legs and were piled up against the stairs as if no one should go down to the yard, the basement was locked off although the listing showed a gym/exercise equipment... The furnishings are a bit sparse (e.g. the "dining room" off the kitchen had a comfy chair, TV, and small table with 3 chairs??? while the kitchen nook had a dining room table overfilling the space, and the family room couch was so big it almost blocked the entrance to the room) which makes me think they had a water leak, did some repairs, and refurnished in an odd way. The welcoming "instructions" are so meager they're essentially non-existent. There is a recycling bin in the kitchen but none in the garage or outside, so it's just for show? I put the trash bin out Saturday morning for pickup as noted and brought it back in full Saturday night. No trash pickup? The topper was the neighbor kid's iPad locked in a closet starting to alarm at 1:30 am and continuing all morning. We asked the host and the story came back that the cleaning lady found the iPad leaning against the front door so she locked it up for safekeeping??? What is actually going on here??

First time in Vrbo

Beautiful location, quiet cul-de-sac, huge amazing backyard and balcony. Inside was clean except a leak from upstairs shower into family room. (Owner was very responsive and I am confident will have it repaired soon.) Nice sized bedrooms. It was a perfect fit for us, I had the larger bedroom, 1 daughter each in two of the other bedrooms, one with her 50 lb dog, and my 20 year old twins in the bedroom with two bunk beds.

It was for my father in laws 93 birthday

Well we got there found out that the main bedroom window was broken, while cleaning up we found that all the power plugs were not working in bathrooms. Next day after we had to be at the house to let the worker in to see the problem. That was Saturday. Sunday we put laundry in washer and it got stuck in washer that is broken and needs a repair man! There was a note on washer if that error happens you need to do this trick to make it work but it didn’t. And while my Son in law taking a shower up stairs we notice it leaking down stairs in living room. No dish towels ran out of paper towels looked for more none in house! Remote to TV was missing till we finally found it under the couch chewed up by a dog that was there the last visit. It was a stressful visit. The back yard was the best spot. Than it rained! Glad to leave on Tuesday.

A 5 week Jersey visit

Our family who recently relocated to sunny south Florida from NJ found Linda’s house during our 5 week summer visit back in central NJ. The house accommodated us and our 2 small dogs just fine. Our daughter, age 11, loved the bunk bed room. I think she tried nearly all the beds. The space was a perfect size for us and our son, age 10, used the walk our basement to play his computer games (he talks loud with his friends) so it was nice he was on another level. We will def be back!

Safe Quiet Neighborhood

This house had what we needed for our family and dogs to feel at home while we visited the New Jersey Beaches. The host, Linda was quick to answer our questions via text. We would recommend this house.

Good time

The house is very nice, it has everything except Kettle :( and scissors . In case you like to make tea please bring your own. Some furniture in the living room needs to be updated. The location is great . The owner was answering on all my questions. We all had a great time.

Great house

Everything we would have wanted. Great back yard for our grandson and dog to run around on. Great deck for outdoor seating and eating. Great kitchen. Lots of rooms that we used as offices and play rooms. Linda was accessible by text if we couldn’t find anything. Convenient food and drug store and restaurants that all did curb side pick up. Very close to great adventure safari that we did numerous times — also contactless check in. Wish it were available longer. Great for long term rental.

Excellent home location and space

Linda the owner was amazing responds quickly home as described large rooms very clean. Very nice back yard and relaxing to enjoy in the morning or evening when you want enjoy your cup of coffee or just talk with your family. Kitchen has everything you need. Will definitely stay here again. The only suggestion I have is to have a few extra warm blankets coming from Florida we are not use to the cold other than that everything was great beds are very comfortable beautiful home

Great for beach weekend with friends

Linda was a super host, very quick at responding to any questions we had. The house was a 20 minute drive from spring lake, which is exactly what we were looking for. There is a beautiful backyard and deck with a grill which was a great activity for evenings!

Family reunion

We rented this property for a local family reunion. We have had family living in the area for a long time. This property worked out great. I would highly recommend for local attractions. The communication was great. We had a problem with outlets during our stay which was immediately corrected. House was very clean. Back porch is fabulous for enjoying quiet time.
