Creekside 2 bedroom house on 2 forested acres

Let the memories begin! Watch a light-show as the fireflies dance in the spring/summer nights, peak fall foliage, or peaceful snowy solitude at this unique and family-friendly place. All the comforts of a newly built modern home nestled along a private creek and beautiful 2 acre backyard wooded forest. There is a system of walking trails with multiple fishing spots for those that love the outdoors.

Two fire pits are also available for use throughout the property.

There is a duck coop with our resident free-range organic ducks; if you’re lucky there will be some fresh duck eggs available. Aside from the ducks there are possum, deer, squirrels, geese, raccoons, beavers, foxes, hawks, and a whole host of other woodland creatures you may encounter on the property. Along the trail there is a secluded fire ring next to the creek.

The main backyard fire-pit overlooks the creek with unlimited wood. The stars are very visible on a clear night. Kayaking is popular, however we advise to boat at your own risk (we don’t have a boat). We do not advise swimming. The creek is resident to edible (NJFW certified) bass, bluegills, sunfish, catfish, carp, pickerel, and the legendary “snakefish.”

The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge with an ice maker, gas stove/oven, toaster, kettle, espresso machine, and stocked with the essential cooking tools. Long oak dining table with 4 chairs. The living room features creek/forest views. On the deck there is a grill, 'egg chair', and small dining table with enough room for two+.

Two bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs. Both bedrooms are minimalist and designed for decluttering and re-centering your mind and space. The master bedroom has a Japanese style floor king size bed with windows outlooking the creek/forest. The second bedroom has a Japanese floor style queen sized bed.

Your hosts may be around in the backyard with notice to take care of yard chores (no major chores are handled while guests are present). We may need to work the organic garden a bit and we care for the duck flock daily (total less than 1 hour on property). We respect requests to work around your schedule to ensure the best stay possible for your group. We can interact with you all as much or as little as requested; we love meeting our guests, but want to ensure your goals are met first and foremost.

Other things to note
Smoking is allowed outside away from any open windows. Small gatherings are permitted with prior discussion/approval and potential for increased cleaning fee and deposit.
