¡Camden, recientemente, ha sido votada como una de las 20 ciudades más bellas de América!

Nuestra casa del pueblo está a tiro de piedra de Penobscot Bay. Es perfecto para dos parejas. Puedes servir tu café por la mañana y pasear para ver los grandes barcos navegar y disfrutar de escenas de la vida activa del puerto. Luego, pase por nuestra biblioteca de la década de 1920 y camine por la calle principal para disfrutar de pequeñas tiendas y cafés locales que forman parte de la estructura de la ciudad.

Bienvenido a nuestra casa con una cocina gourmet completamente equipada, sala de estar y una hermosa sala de estar. Hay una habitación principal, con cama de matrimonio y baño privado, habitación de invitados con una reina y baño adyacente, ambos en el segundo piso. El tercer piso es una suite con un dormitorio con cama queen, baño y una hermosa sala de estar con un ventanal con vista al monte. La vida del pueblo de Camden está a solo unos minutos de nuestro porche lateral. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home owner is a talented artist and the home has a lot of his artwork and is appointed with an artists eye. Walking distance to town, markets, Mt Battie trailhead could not have been more convenient. We had a blast !

The stay was great and the house was comfortable. It was decorated nice and had a lot of artwork that the owner painted. Loves looking at all pictures. They had a full kitchen and plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was very convenient to walk to Camden. The Miller's were very nice and helpful when we asked for restaurants . This is a charming and very comfortable home in a great location, just a few minutes walk to downtown Camden and everything the delightful town has to offer.The home is filled with books, art and antiques which our group of four 70-somethings greatly enjoyed. The owners are a thoughtful and charming couple and were highly responsive to our wishes.We felt like adopted Camdenites! Don't miss this one.

House very cluttered. Steps to 2nd and 3rd are not designed for older people. Very difficult to get a suitcase up steps. Third floor bathroom has no mirror and is an open space.

Great location

Camden is a favorite destination for us - and as we had rented this property years ago - knew the proximity to town was terrific. We enjoyed being close to the harbor - however the property needs maintenance and to be professionally cleaned on a much more regular basis to provide the best vacation experience.

Beautiful house, loved everything about our visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, and it easily accommodated the family (including three children ages 6, 11, and 14). It was the perfect place to relax and we also loved walking into town (very short walk), climbing Mt. Battie, and exploring the area. This was our first visit to Camden, and we look forward to returning again next summer!

Phenomenal stay in one of the prettiest coastal villages!

We loved our stay in Camden - Mary and David’s house was perfectly located - easy walk into town and harbor and beach! The house itself is beautiful and filled with incredible art! Would definitely return! Mary and David were so very gracious and we felt like we were staying at a friend’s home!

Lovely week in Camden

Location of home is close to town and within walking distance of everything. Lovely well- appointed home filled books, antiques and art. I wish the house was on a quieter street, we never sat outside due to the busy street.

Really cozy and inviting, great kitchen; easy access to all of Camden.

We loved Dave's artwork, the book collection, and all the wonderful furnishings from the East. There was plenty of room for great meals and family board games. The third floor was super for our three teenagers. You couldn't ask for easier access to Camden. We would definitely stay at the Miller's home again!

Perfect Camden Village home

I loved my stay on Mountain Street. The house is full of antiques, books and art. So much to look at! It was so very welcoming and had everything I need to make my stay comfortable. The location in town is so perfect with plenty of parking. And although you are in the heart of the village the gardens give you a sense of peace Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and I enjoyed my evening lass of wine on the patio. The owners are lovely. I will definitely come back.

Camden has everything you have ever wanted and more: the Owl and Turtle Book Store, Bay Chamber Concert House, Page Art Gallery, Zoot's for coffee, Buttermilk Cafe or The Deli for breakfast. There are wonderful restaurants, great sailing, unique shopping, glorious hiking on Mt Beatty, golf in Rockland, (Address: 606 Old County Rd, Rockland, ME 04841

There are long walks on country lanes, canoeing, kayaking, and a walk from our front door.

Our home is filled with Dave's watercolors and oils, antiques we have collected in Europe and Asia. Though it is only 2300 sq feet, there are private places to get comfortable for a read or a chat. Here is a recent review from our guests:

Immerse yourself in art and literature while enjoying the best Maine has to offer. Day trips to Rockport, Belfast, Bar Harbor for shopping, antiquing, and ,of course, lobster! Enjoy the forest and the ocean at Acadia National Park where you can hike or just soak in the sun and waves. Don't forget the pop-overs at Jordon Pond Lodge. Be sure to stop and see the views from the Penobscot Bridge tower. Weather keeping you inside...no worries. This wonderful house is full of artwork (most by the owner!) to ponder and books in every nook and corner. Every need is covered and the rooms are spectacular. We stayed in the "attic" room with stained glass windows above the bed and the whole bathroom is a shower! We ate in Bar Harbor, Lincolnville, and Camden and every meal was excellent with great service. The home is a very short walk from downtown Camden so you are just minutes from shopping and dining. We also got to enjoy a cruise on the schooner "Appledore"...a great adventure. Mary and Dave are great hosts and answered all our questions right away. We highly recommend this home for your get away, especially for adults or families with older kids.

We are within walking distance of all that Camden offers. The house is our sanctuary with three distinct living areas on three floors.

The public space on the first floor provides a large, gourmet kitchen with room for our family and friends to gather, visit, and cook. My husband has hand-painted a mural in the dining room that creates a sense of peace and calm. The transition from our cozy living room features an archway framed with 18th Chinese panels reminds us of wonderful travel in Taiwan and China.

The living room is intimate and highlighted by stained glass windows and a cozy gas fireplace surrounded by bookcases.

The second floor features a large bedroom with an adjacent shower bathroom.

The third floor is an open suite with a sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom. The best views are from this sitting room! This is completely private, set off from the rest of the house.

Our home is perfect for one or two couples, who love to travel together. There is plenty of room to cook, relax, read, and visit and...retreat.
