Pesca, canotaje y deportes acuáticos. ¡Eso es False River! Esta es una pequeña cabaña maravillosa que se encuentra justo en el río falso, puede ver las olas desde su sala de estar o relajarse con esas excelentes vistas desde la cubierta trasera cubierta. Esta cabaña tiene el ambiente más increíble del lago. Bajas las escaleras hasta el muelle donde puedes pescar, nadar o ir en bote. Todo en una excelente ubicación. False River es un gran lugar para practicar deportes acuáticos, pescar o relajarse. ¡La pesca puede ser realmente buena desde el muelle durante el día o la noche! Esta cabaña es un diseño de marco "A" con la cocina, la sala de estar, el baño y una habitación de cama en las escaleras que disfrutan de excelentes vistas del lago. El segundo piso tiene la habitación principal y el baño. Hay un embarcadero a menos de 1 / 4 millas más adelante y no muy lejos de New Roads, donde encontrarás tiendas y restaurantes. He cogido Bass, besugo, tipo de pez, bagre, gar, goo, bajo rayado y otros de los muelles. Damos la bienvenida a los pájaros de la nieve, así que asegúrese de informarme sobre estadías prolongadas de invierno.

Can't wait to do it again!

Claire made our check in/check out much easier than any hotel would offer. While our days were busy out and about, we were excited to get back and enjoy our evenings overlooking the water from the deck. Perfect location, nice neighbors, quiet. We loved the fact that the house sits below road level. The lack of traffic noise was a bonus for us.

It was a great little cabin with everything included. They had a "green" light for attracting the fish, mosquito spray, laundry detergent, this place had it all!

Quaint Lake House

This is a quaint house on False River. It is cozy and centrally located. Check in and out were easy and convenient. My suggestion is that the window units are turned on earlier before guests arrive.

Perfect weekend getaway

My partner and I travelled to the False River area to surprise my mom/grandmother for Mother’s Day, and this being my partners first time in Louisiana I wanted to treat her to something special. This home was incredibly comfortable, easy to check in/out, and the views on the river were just perfect. Not to mention the perfect location for me being close to my grandmothers home. Staying here was rejuvenating for us and so relaxing. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in the area!

A nice fishing camp and beautiful views. Owners added extras to make sure you were welcome - like fresh chicken eggs which we ate every morning and roses in a vase.

Exceptional place to stay

Hands down, one of the best places and owners I rented from. Great area. Fishing from the back porch is a huge plus for me. Nothing like hanging out on the back porch with a great view of the lake. Claire was wonderful. And Jordyn is an amazing cook.

Enjoyable

The cabin was quaint and code, perfect for a couple. Everything it we needed was there. The property owners were sweet and excited to share information about the location and about the good fishing spots. Overall great stay!

Little Piece of Paradise

We snuck away for a weekend away. I love the character of older camps. It was just what I needed. The beds were very comfortable. I loved the circular staircase. It was peaceful and tranquil. Claire responded quickly to a question, and checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. Thank you Claire.

Perfect Lake Stay!

Absolutely loved this fishing camp! It’s the perfect size and location. Claire has it stocked with everything you might need and then some. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

Relaxing and comfortable!

Very comfortable. All the necessities and many extras! Great location with lovely views. My friends and I were very happy with the accommodations. We really enjoyed the porch with fans and the lower deck right on the water.

Beautiful weekend

I brought my elderly parents for a long weekend. The property was just perfect for them. The host was quick to respond but we barely had any questions everything was so convenient and fully stocked. This house will forever hold a special place in our heart.

Relaxing getaway

Our hostess was awesome. She was helpful anytime we needed anything. The camp was very clean. We had a great time for a quick getaway. The outdoor gas grill didn't seem to work properly. Only one side would light then go out. It may need to be replaced or worked on. The pier could do with some covers for nails that were exposed.

Must See to Appreciate!!!!

Omg I was afraid to go anywhere with Covid-19 with my low immune system. The place was immaculate for a fishing/ outdoor trip. Ms Claire had the place spotless. The beds were comfortable the two bathrooms were nice. The stairs to the master bedroom are kinda tight but I took my time one by one slowly and I did fine. My hubby 6 ‘2 295 lb and he was ok going up and down the master bedroom staircase. I’m glad I didn’t let past. Reviews cloud my judgment. The AC was so cold we all came back with the sniffles!!! Not sure why a past guest said the ac didn’t work cause all 3 of them with the ceiling fans were all you need in this Louisiana heat and humidity. Now you must understand this is a camp on a lake so everything that comes with life on a lake you may encounter. Like bugs bugs bugs also Mr Water snake was sun bathing on the deck he slither away when my hubby was about to kill him ( only because it was poisoned and kids were around. Now I wouldn’t let little kids on the bottom deck because no. rails and they may trip and fall in water. Our host checked on us the whole time even left us fresh hen eggs with a nice card. We left our note in the guest book. We Will most definitely make this our getaway for fishing. We did catch a few fish but with all the boat traffic on the water all day and evening makes the water too choppy for fishing off dock we did just enjoyed getting our baits stolen lol!!! The camp had everything you need it was a home away from home. Grocery store was right down the street to get your groceries. Also the sand bar lounge was live all weekend. We had a time to remember!!!!

Fantastic Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful, fun, and relaxing getaway at the Fly Fish! The camp was just as described and more charming than in the pictures. We stayed out on the decks fishing and enjoying the view all weekend! The owner's are wonderful to work with and even checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything.

Fun, relaxing stay for Christmas

We had a great experience at this cabin. It is built over the lake, perfect for fishing and bird watching. Bring binoculars! The cabin is casual and relaxed. The dishwasher was a blessing, as are the washer and dryer. Two bathrooms are most convenient. The owners have provided everything you need, just bring clothes and food. The chairs on the deck are great to have. The owners are generous and lovely to communicate with. They even made sure we had a cute ceramic Christmas tree! We will stay there again. I recommend it for 2 to 4 people, who can handle stairs. Thanks for the wonderful holiday!

A week on False River

Tidy camp right on the water. Beautiful sunrises and cool mornings. Peaceful week on the River. Friendly neighbors as well- one loaned us a kayak for the week!

Relaxing retreat

We stayed here for two nights for a quick get away. It was perfect for my hubby, two teenage kids, and I. We just relaxed. Swam False river by jumping off the dock. We brought our on floats and just had a great time. We will be back!!

Great cabin right on over the water, perfect space for family of 4. Everything was nice and clean, Claire was great And easy to deal with, we will definitely be coming back.

Weekend Escape

Highly recommend The Flyfish it was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed hanging out in the water and on the deck. We will definitely do this again.
