Dulce cabaña de playa con todo el encanto de antaño con las campanas y silbatos de hoy. Completamente remodelado con pisos de madera, cocina totalmente equipada actualizada con encimeras de cuarzo y electrodomésticos nuevos, baño remodelado magnífico, ventanas de vinilo de doble panel y enormes cubiertas de entretenimiento. La habitación BONUS es el lugar perfecto para que los niños o padres pasen el rato y se relajen. La cubierta frontal tiene vistas de aguas blancas al embarcadero y el patio trasero es perfecto para el entretenimiento privado. A solo una cuadra de Dog Beach y a minutos de restaurantes, tiendas y vida nocturna. Lavandería privada y estacionamiento fuera de la calle. A solo 5 propiedades de la playa de arena. ¡No puede superar esta ubicación o encanto para sus próximas vacaciones!

Great Beach House

The house was perfect for my wife and our daughter. It is in close proximity to plenty of restaurants, and most importantly, a few steps from the beach. We will definitely be back.

The property is super cute and close to the beach. It had everything we needed, and more! From the "shark bed" for my son, to the pet relief area in the back for the dogs, to the outdoor shower and even beach storage area out back, it really had it all. There's even a market right around the corner and downtown OB is just a short walk away.

Excellent location

This was our second time staying at this place and we love it. The location is more than perfect. A short walk to the beach and close to many shops and restaurants. We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Amazing stay!!

Property far exceeded our exceptions! It was the perfect stay for our family with young kids. Plenty of room with the awesome outdoor space. Would highly recommend this to friends visiting the area!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Such a perfect property! Close to bars, restaurants and shops on both sides, lots of outdoor spaces to hang, close to the beach (literally 2 minutes to walk to the beach), clean and comfy!

Perfect Location

This adorable cottage is in the perfect location. We were able to walk to everything with ease. The house is wall stocked, super clean and cozy. The owners are quick to respond and very friendly. Our stay was full of adventure and comfort.

Great location with parking

We enjoyed our stay, house is clean and comfortable plus walkable to beach and restaurants. It had all the basics to wash dishes clothes and even shower products. Having only one bathroom wish there were more mirrors to use when getting ready.

Will continue to stay

This is the 3rd or 4th time we stay here, and we have an enjoyed every single stay. Area is very close to restaurants and activities. Host is very responsive to any need. Water and sand are only a few steps away. We will continue to stay here every year. Thank you so much!

Sweet Cottage

This was a very comfortable place at one of the "old style California Beaches". Easy walk to the beach and dog beach, our dog loved it. Lots of decent restaurants around and small markets. Place had all you need to cook, sleep, play and lounge. Very enjoyable. And if you count planes, you wont be disappointed.

Perfect week at the beach

This was an amazing property! The location was great and I loved taking my dog to the beach multiple times a day. The porch was great to enjoy a drink and people watch with a view of the ocean at sunset. The back patio was also great with a super convenient outdoor shower and a pet relief area inside the fence. The place was spotless and the area was quiet and relaxed. Would definitely rent again!

Love this place!

This is my second time staying at this place and I will come back again. The location is perfect. It is nicely updated with everything you need. Bring a makeup mirror if you have multiple girls staying there as there is only a mirror in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker.

Everything was amazing, apart from one day we came back from the beach and the lockbox was left open (we had left it closed and thank goodness we took the physical key with us) and we contacted the owner of the property via the app and they responded via phone call 6 hours later saying sorry they forgot we were there- they have multiple properties and wanted to check in on everything. Since then never heard anything checking in on us, we are comfortable in the neighborhood but it’s still a city and we don’t know the owners. Didn’t feel as safe since that day, and no extra accommodations were offered or discounts because of the mishap - which is disappointing as well. Also screen doors don’t have grates on them, so that added to the lack of safety. Property is gorgeous outside

Memorial Day 2021

On occasion I've found the property does not live up to the pictures. This property is BETTER than the pictures. Everything you need in this cozy cute little beach bungalow is at your fingertips. Steps from the beach, it is a quiet neighborhood with friendly folks living nearby and walking by the front of the house to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need and the washer and dryer made it so convenient. We will definitely stay here again. Comfortable furniture and a spacious deck out back - Loved it!

Spring Break Vacay

After staying several times on Mission Beach and Newport Beach, we tried OB last year and found our new place to stay therefore returning this year. We’ve discovered the neighborhood is much more family friendly; the food and shops are closer; and the beach is not busy. Our stay at Brighton Beach Cottage is the perfect spot from the beach and eateries. Lots of space for a family of 5 to spread out and have their own space with a private front and very spacious back patio. I know it only has one bathroom, however, the fact that you have lots of private space inside and out, close proximity to the beach/eateries, and the amazingly spacious dedicated parking spot completely outweigh that fact. We appreciate Catrina allowing us to stay in her place and being very attentive when called. We’d definitely love to stay again.

Cozy Christmas Beach Retreat

This home was equipped with everything we needed to make our Christmas Holiday complete! Such a cozy, clean and relaxing stay - loved being so close to walk to the beach with coffee in the morning. It was perfect for 3 of us - beds were very comfy - the backyard was a great layout for our son's dog to visit, he knew exactly where the "potty" area was. Definite 5 stars on the kitchen - very well stocked with anything we could possibly need. So convenient to downtown OB - love shops, restaurant's and the vibe. The Wednesday farmers market was awesome - huge! Complete with bongos and fire dancers! I can't wait to come back in warmer weather - so we could truly enjoy the back yard and front deck - and try some surfing! Parking out back was very convenient! Catrina and Jason were perfect hosts - very responsive. This home is a definite repeat on our list.

It may be the cutest cottage in Ocean Beach! Originally built in 1915, it was one of the only properties in the neighborhood. We have painstakingly remodeled it and hope you love it and all of the charm. The back "hang out" room was the original carriage house.
