The property had everything that we needed for a great stay.Outside shower was a plus for us.You can enjoy the view and hear the waves from the back garden that cuts thru to the beach!Everything was at the property including beach chairs and umbrella!We went fishing constantly, so we were happyThe Host was concerned that we had a great time, Andy was great.We will return!!!

Perfect place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Windrose. We loved the view of the gulf, even from looking out the windows! It really is 50 steps or less to the gulf. The hoses out front and back really made for a quick rinse off and the outdoor shower was super convenient! The house itself is completely stocked with every thing you can think of from washer, dryer, blender, toaster, grill, vacuum, kids beach toys etc etc. Andy and Justina are super responsive and helpful. They will make sure you have everything you need and will recommend restaurants/ places to go near by and Isabella’s was DELICIOUS! I really enjoyed drinking my coffee in the adirondack chairs. We definitely would stay again!

Cozy beach house

Great location with beautiful ocean views! Lovely back patio and outdoor shower. House was modern and decorated in good taste. Perfectly suited for our stay and we will book again!

We stayed at Windrose at the end of May and couldn't have been happier! Communication with Andy was timely and great. Everything we could possibly need was conveniently available at the house.....washer/dryer, pots, pans, utensils, a smoothie blender, beach chairs, bicycles, beach umbrella, beach towels, gas grill, etc. The new enclosed outdoor shower was fantastic for our son to clean up after a day on the beach. Beds were super comfy and we even made s'mores with the patio fire pit. The house itself was absolutely adorable and newly renovated. The half circle drive was super convenient for parking and the location was fantastic. At the end of a quiet street and just 50 or so steps from the beach entrance made it so convenient for spending a couple hours on the beach, heading out for some other fun, and then back to the beach multiple times a day.

Perfect Beach Retreat

This is our second time vacationing at Windrose, and we are very much looking forward to future visits! Windrose has everything you need and more for a very comfortable and relaxing stay, and Andy and Justina are helpful, personable, and communicative. Windrose is in a perfect spot in Englewood Beach and the beach entrance is at your doorstep. Windrose is becoming a "home away from home" for us. My only regret( as the case with my last visit) is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you Andy and Justina for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

Chill Paradise

This spot was like a dreamy escape; a chill paradise. Andy and Justina were like sunshine in human form, radiating warmth and kindness. We didn't even need to lift a finger during our fortnight stay - the house was a treasure trove of perfection! But hey, if a hiccup did pop up, I bet they'd sprinkle some magic and fix it in a jiffy. If you're after a snug hideout near the waves, this gem is calling your name!

Wonderful Location and Beautiful Home!

I was super nervous leading up to our stay with Tropical Storm Debby coming through the area. Stayed in communication with the owner and everything worked out great including the weather! House has everything you need for a week's long stay at the beach. We love this area, and you can't beat the location of this house. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Great location

The house is in a great location and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. There are several outdoor seating options and the second bedroom has a queen over twin which is great.

Disappointed

Owner called the day we were due to arrive asking arrival time, I told him, he reminded me of check time and I said no problem. And had asked we could water the palm trees. I get text later that day for me to call him when we arrive. I didn’t. Next morning. Another text, so I called. A lamp is broke, and owner asks if I can bag up shells for him before I leave. That night, we lose WI-FI and TV (with 3 kids) owner states it’s happened before. Gets me in touch with cable folks, on phone an hour with them. Then sets appointment next morning for cable and wants us to sit and wait for them. But, during all this, he sends someone to the home, unannounced to water the palms. The most disappointing and odd experience with an owner I have ever experienced. No Wi-Fi or cable for 4 days…couldn’t send someone over to help with that. Just unannounced visitor to water his palms.

Wonderful Stay

We had 3 weeks of beautiful weather. We had everything we needed in the kitchen when we cooked. The beds were very comfortable. We would have loved a fenced yard for our pups to run around in safely & a weber charcoal grill. Other wise it was a perfect place to stay & a few steps to the beach was so wonderful!!

Our new favorite place

Our stay at Andrew and Justina’s house at Manasota Key is now the only place we ever want to go. It was perfect for my hubby, myself, and our two golden retrievers. Communication with owners, the property and location were above and beyond. We traveled 17 hours by car from indiana to get there and didn’t want to leave when was time to go.

Beautiful getaway!

Lovely, comfortable beach house, located on an awesome quiet street with friendly neighbors! The location was perfect and might as well have been directly on the beach, because that is how it felt. The house itself had what we needed and the outdoor space was also great. We were too tired from our time at the beach to use the fire pit out back, but made good use of the space taking respite from the sun or to just sit back and relax. We loved how secluded it felt and also enjoyed having the chairs out front as well. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with! We visit this area yearly and will definitely look to renting this beach house again. Highly recommend it!

All Around Wonderful

We were able to enjoy the grandkids at a wonderful beach house in a wonderful location. We had everything we needed, and then some. We would not hesitate to return to this beach house in the future.

Letting my hair down.

Words cannot begin to express the charming cottage and amenities that greeted my daughter and I when we arrived at Windrose Cottage! The entire stay was made so much more enjoyable with the thoughtfulness of the hosts, the few steps to the Gulf of Mexico, the great bikes and our enchanting back yard/patio. I would rent again, and recommend to all my family and friends.

Great place!

The house was perfect for two people. Beds and futon for 7 people. High end kitchen and very nicely decorated. Just steps from the beach. The weather was perfect!

We first came to Manasota Key to check out Stump Pass State Park and fell in love with the island. After many trips back to the island we found, Windrose, the perfect beach house for us. We have spent a good portion of our lives on the water boating and on the beach. When we are not on the island we on are on Lake Erie.

This is a unique old Florida type beach bungalow. Totally updated with all modern appliances, WIFI, Smart TV's, private patio with firepit, car port and all on the ground floor
level. NO STAIRS! Located on a dead end street with no traffic and wonderful neighbors. It's comfortable quiet and SO close to the beach.
