Perfect for relaxing and access to the marina.

It was great for our purposes. It was a pleasant location. Not fancy but clean, comfortable, and well equipped. When the lake is higher the view would be great.

I was let down by the pictures & reality of my view. The pics show A WATER VIEW REALITY WAS LOOKING AT ROOFS OF OTHER CABINS. WE WERE ALSO DOUBLE BOOKED AND ANOTHER COUPLE WALKED IN ON US LATE IN THE AFTER WE WERE ALREADY CHECKED INTHE WAS A VRBO MISTAKE

Lakeway serenity

We enjoyed the space and pretty hill country view as we worked and met up with family for a week. Nadia responded to questions extremely fast. We enjoyed walking to Lakeway resort and being close to restaurants and shopping at the Galleria. The treehouse was quiet with the morning sun pouring in. It had everything we needed ! Well appointed and plentifully stocked.

Quick stay in hill country

We stayed here for a few days in August. It was nice and quiet for our stay. Unfortunately, due to the level 4 drought, there was no water views (it was dry). We took advantage of the pool to cool off, which was nice, but not the cleanest pool with cloudy water. We used the guest parking lot because the space in front of the unit was difficult to access with a full-sized SUV due to the tight turns, steep declines, and the neighboring guests parking in a way that blocked us. It actually better and easier to park a short walk away. The location was close to stores and food. I would recommend it if you want to feel semi secluded without being in the hills alone. I would skip it if you are looking for something waterfront or upscale/modern.

Review

The view in the pictures is not remotely close to the reality. No water anywhere. Just rubble, dead branches, beached docks, etc. Was told by owner “not within her control and essentially not her problem”. I replied the pictures and verbiage you advertise make her liable. They were clearly old and I as an out of Rosner have no idea about local water levels. I offered to check out next day and split difference as an equitable solution. She would not concede and I was told to contact VRBO (possibly after she reviewed her liability and and VRBOs commission ). After an hour with them, they stood by the owner. Apparently, the only deal breaker in this situation is if property is grossly missing a room of property “not as described”. VRBO takes no liability nor enforcement. I understand this is capitalism. But there was time when integrity meant something. This ad is clearly designed to bait and switch and capture your money. You could legitimately put any photo you want of any property and if you have the same number of bedrooms you advertise, you’re good to go and can take advantage of people however you want. The owner felt since other resorts don’t update photos, she didn’t have to. That is such a flawed argument, one could laugh. Entitled are we? To be clear, the unit itself was fine, but not what we would have booked if the photos and descriptions were accurate. The owner will prob reply that’s she sorry we feel this way in some back-handed constructive manner or with victimized verbiage, but as a customer, I want all the prospective shoppers to know, she would not work this out with me at any professional level, was misleading about the view, VRBO wouldn’t intervene, and finally you have other, better options for your hard earned dollar. Go elsewhere!!

4th of July

Our family rented out unit 8, we had a great time! The area was much quieter than I was expecting for the 4 th , which was fantastic. But you still have easy access to restaurants and plenty of stuff to do. We watched the fireworks on a nearby hill. It was a great trip

Excellent in every way

We recently stayed at the Treehouse while in for a wedding. Everything was excellent. The home was beautiful, clean, great view, and unlike most rental extremely well stocked. The view was outstanding and the home owner was responsive to every message, including offering to ship a favorite pillow that was left upon check out. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Lake Travis.

Exceeded my expectations

This house exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed for a comfortable Thanksgiving plus more. Everywhere we looked we were surprised by all of the special touches and details. Plus, you cannot beat that million dollar view. Hope to stay there again when visiting my son in Austin. We could not have chosen a better house to rent. Cannot wait to return again.

Summer Vaca

We enjoyed our stay at the treetop house. The house was clean and very comfortable with a nice balcony view of the lake. We took advantage of renting a boat at the Marina which is walking distance and also drove to a couple nearby city parks for swim areas. Communication with owner was quick and responsive with great ideas and advice what to do and where to go in the area. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Thanks! 😊

The perfect getaway to Austin’s hill country and lakes

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Nadia’s property. The house was very comfortable and we ended up spending a lot of time lounging around and eating in. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved having our morning coffee out on the patio overlooking the water. There’s even a family of turtles just below the treehouse that have claimed a large rock in the water that we aptly named “turtle rock”. The location was fantastic. We could drive anywhere within 30-45 minutes which allowed us to see a lot of what the greater Austin area has to offer. We ended up only spending one or two days visiting restaurants downtown. Nadia was an absolute pleasure as a host. I’d highly recommend her and her property for your future stay. Enjoy!

Loved staying in the Tree House

This was our first stay in a Vrbo property. The reservation process was simple. Vrbo put us in direct contact with the owner. The owner was friendly and helpful. When we got to the property, the condition and cleanliness was superb. I loved the layout so much that I sketched it for future reference. The back deck of the Tree House overlooks Lake Travis. The only drawback in the whole stay was that we did not realize that the units is part of an 18-unit development, so there were a lot of people in the neighboring units and common areas for the weekend. Wasn't a problem, just a little surprise.. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

We love travelling around the world as a family, my husband is European (half Polish and half Russian), and we are super happy that our daughter is already 100% fluent in Spanish, Polish and English. We are a very outdoor family, we love hiking, camping, walking, swimming and also playing music. We also consider ourselves foodies as we love to explore good and unique dishes everywhere we go. We have purchased the "Tree House on Lake Travis" as a second home. If this is your first time staying with us, I hope you will get to enjoy your stay at the tree house and explore the amazing water activities that Lake Travis has to offer.
