While we were sympathetic to Ms. Cox's situation, we were also negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This business is also our family's livelihood. We are not a large corporation, we have a very small business with only 3 short term rental properties. Almost all of our revenue was lost between March, April, and May. These peak times account for a significant portion of our income for the entire year and we cannot pay our mortgages without this income. Texas was one of the first states to begin reopening after the stay-at-home orders were put in place. In fact, by the time Ms. Cox stayed at our property Texas had been reopened for several weeks. In an abundance of caution, our cleaning crew took extra measures to ensure that our property was sanitized and disinfected thoroughly prior to her stay. Of course, we are disappointed in this review because it has nothing to do with the quality of our property or anything related to the guest's experience staying in our home. As you can see, we have very positive reviews with respect to both our home AND our relationships with our prior guests. Ms. Cox's insinuation about our character was uncalled for especially considering that we attempted to work with her by offering her the option of rescheduling her trip to a later date. Each and everyone one of us has been affected by the COVID crisis, the impact of the pandemic on our family's livelihood is not any less meaningful than the impact to others.

This issues were never reported to us, we reached out to the guest from the time they checled in until the time they left and this was never mentioned. Our outdoor pool gets serviced twice a week, twice more than other properties but its normal that debris and leaves for into the pool cause it's were we have a lot of bushes. We communicated the trash issie with ghuest upon arrival xause previous guest forgot to take it outside and she was on the tail end of a back to back booking. Thank you so much for your feedback, I will definitely take a note of the issues you encountered. We try to be on top of the situation for every reservation but unless it was reported during their stay it would be impossible for us to resolve it.
