The condo is a good size with a beautiful view from the balcony. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Appreciated that beach chairs were provided. There is a Walmart within walking distance for picking up groceries.The building itself has ALOT of rules in terms of elevator use, and I found it extremely excessive to have to pay for a mandatory 2 key fobs for 2 adults & a teenager. At 30 each when we were only there for 2 nights - it would be nice if at least part of the cost was refundable upon return...

Rolling Loud

My son, his gf and myself visited Miami for our forth Rolling Loud in a row. We usually try a different place each time as our home base for the week. This was by far the best choice yet. Room was clean, easy in/out. Fantastic view. Overall great experience.

Way too many rules to deal with

Loved my actual rental space. Right by elevator easy to access. Owners couldn’t be nicer ! So accommodating. The property is very Latin influenced which I food not know or would not even care but I never felt welcome by any staff ever. I’m very friendly as my husband we are in hospitality business and he is bilingual but he tried to speak to staff to say hello and thank you good bye and not one single person ever greeted us not good morning good day nothing. So disappointed and felt discriminating

Perfect location with great view

We came to town for a Taylor Swift concert and this condo was great for our family of 4. Very comfortable king size bed. Lovely view and nice big dining room table. Thanks for having us!

Great condo, not so great property management

The actual condo was great. It was clean and the layout worked well for our family. It did sit back away from the ocean, but we still had a good view of the ocean. The furniture in the condo was good for an oceanfront property. The only disappointment in the living space was that there was no washer and dryer in the unit. The listing had washer and dryer included, so we assumed it would be in the unit. It was not. We had to go down the hall to the community laundry room. The Tides charged $7.00 for an empty laundry card and then $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry each load. The card reader that you must use to load money on the card is not user friendly and you can only purchase in increments of $10.00. The check-in process for The Tides was frustrating for everyone, including the people that were working there. The parking was $100 for 4 days, even though it was advertised as $75.00. We were required to purchase 3 key fobs which cost $30.00 each. There is no refund when you return them. We were also required to put down a $20.00 deposit for a parking pass even though we had already paid $100.00 for valet parking which was not valet. It just means you park yourself. The Tides also makes you use the service elevator if you are carrying anything upstairs. When you use the service elevator you must enter and exit through the stinky hot corridor. We did enjoy our stay in the condo, but we do believe you should know everything about The Tides before booking.

“Room with a View”

The best thing about our stay was the view from the 6th floor condo slider! The pool and the ocean beyond were stunning! The condo was very conveniently located by the elevators and was well supplied with everything you need for your stay! Exceptionally clean and comfortable!

Beautiful condo

We felt the condo was beautiful and convenient. The facility was great and parking very easy. The pool and beach access was a real plus. The view is really nice and we would stay again.

Great location but needs a facelift

Overall, we loved the location and the view of the ocean was amazing. It served our purposes, but the apartment needs some updating. Pros: -Location -Close to restaurants -Pool was warm and easy -Steps from the beach -Beds were comfortable -Nicely decorated Cons: -check in process was frustrating. Staff was unhelpful and did not go out of their way to help. -paying $30 each for two fob’s that are non refundable is a rip off. They should be refundable. -drywall and paint were cracking and peeling on the bathroom and bedroom. Door in bathroom had holes in it where an old hook must have been. -window sill in master was filthy and had not been cleaned for a long time. Same with the area around the kitchen sink. -there were no drawers to put clothes. Made it hard for a week, especially in the second bedroom, which is very small. -remote controls for tvs were either missing or had no batteries. -very little was stocked for us, only one roll of toilet paper and no dish towels in the kitchen. -there were supposed to be 6 beach towels, but there were only 4. -laundry was not in the unit and costs $2 per wash and dry. You need to buy a laundry card for $7 and add money in $10 increments. Seems like the host could provide one or two loads as part of the rental, especially at this price point.

Short visit - perfect last minute stay

The unit was in a nice quiet location. The pools were nice with plenty of chairs. We felt safe as there was a front desk attendant always on duty. Jorge was quick to communicate with and was even able to get us into the condo in one hour after the place we previously rented had pool renovations and only access was down the road. There were a couple of restaurants in the area that had good food. We didn’t bother with groceries so can’t speak to a full kitchen but everything we needed was there. Furniture was comfortable. We were also able to rent chairs and umbrella a short walk down the beach. Nice and relaxing!

Hollywood-Hallandale Beach Area

Very nice unit. Beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen with all the tools needed to prepare food. Very handy to airport, restaurants and of course Walmart is very close by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this particular unit. Very clean. Unit is handy to elevators, laundry room and trash disposal. Really couldn’t have asked for a better place. Host was very easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again. Also king bed in master was very comfortable.

Stunning view!

Online photos don’t do justice to the view of the landscaped grounds, the pool and the beach as seen from the balcony or the living room. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Master bedroom is very large but the en suite bathroom is very small. Small kitchen but well stocked. Occasional lack of privacy as people on adjoining balconies can look in on you if you sit on the sofa. Management removed the pool loungers for repair and replaced them with others but not enough, so at times we had to use our beach chairs. I expect this will be rectified soon.

Better than our expectations

We honestly were not sure if the unit would be as good as the listing stated or photos showed. The photos make it look spacious, inviting, really close to the beach with a nice kitchen. IT WAS ALL THAT and more! Just about every appliance you'd need in a kitchen is provided, the beach is closer, the pool area is well maintained, the staff at the building were very polite and helpful and the unit was so roomy and clean! There is a Walmart & Publix that are close to get groceries, a great little Cafe in the northern Tides building and a lot of restaurants available to choose from that are walk-able or a short uber drive away. The beds are firm, pillows fluffy and there was everything needed to make coffee in the morning (huge blessing the first morning let me tell ya ha!). Absolutely LOVED having a balcony to enjoy the great weather without having to 'people' when the beach got crowded. Very much recommend this property!

Great location and condo

Great location, very comfortable condo and excellent view from the balcony. Check in process was a bit hectic, but the valet attendant and employees were helpful. The pool area was great, very family friendly and being right on the beach was awesome. The only downside was the visitor policy- my parents are local and wanted to come say hi… only issue was they weren’t allowed in the pool. Overall great and comfortable condo. Beach chairs and toys were a huge plus. We’d definitely rent again.

Family vacation

Condo was lovely. Very nice location close to elevators, trash chute, and laundry. View was spectacular. Checkin process was a little hectic but we got through it. I did not want to mention this on here but when you give 20$ for a parking pass make sure they give you a receipt. The lady that took it put it in her bottom right drawer, proceeded to tell me to come back the next day for the pass but didnt give me anything. We came back for the pass but they still didnt have any. When I checked out I was supposed to get back my 20$ but she claimed that if she didnt give me a receipt then she didnt collect it. I know for a fact I gave it to her. Not sure if there are cameras in that area or not but be on the look out for that for anyone else. Also the room was unlocked when we first entered and all the lights were on. I am sure this was just a cleaning error but wanted to make you aware. Thank you!!

We have 3 children who have very busy schedules between school and sports. Once in a while our vacation home provides them a great environment to wind down and enjoy the South Florida sunshine in an area that just has so much going on.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We chose to purchase this vacation rental because it is only a 30 minute drive from our home. Without too much planning we can break away from our busy schedules and be in our beachfront condo in no time.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

During the day you can enjoy the beaches and South Florida sunshine, afterwards you can enjoy shopping at Aventura Mall, and during the evening you can relax at one of the many fine restaurants or gamble the night away at one of the nearby casinos. All of this within a 5 minute drive from our direct oceanfront condo!
