Condominio frente al mar complejo completamente renovado desde el huracán. Ocean & Marina

Renovado, reparado y listo para funcionar desde el huracán de 2017. Al tener la ubicación más conveniente para la playa, la casa club y la piscina, esta hermosa unidad final fue completamente renovada. Las Unidades Finales son las unidades más grandes disponibles en el resort y también brindan la mayor cantidad de luz natural desde los ventanales en el área de Comedor y el dormitorio principal. La cocina está equipada con encimera de granito, gabinetes y electrodomésticos nuevos. Los baños renovados incluyen nuevo tocador con encimeras de granito con paredes recién azulejos, baldosas de cerámica se instaló en todo haciendo de esta una de las unidades más deseables en el Ocean Pointe. Situado en una urbanización privada de 65 acres con vistas al puerto deportivo, con impresionantes vistas al mar este apartamento está situado cerca de la casa club y una cafetería, playa privada, mirador, marina, rampa para botes, piscina de tamaño olímpico Jr y bañera de hidromasaje.
La cocina está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades de cocina, la habitación principal tiene una cama King size (abril de 2018) con una bañera de hidromasaje en el baño principal. Dos camas individuales en el dormitorio de invitados y un nuevo sofá cama doble (abril de 2018) en la gran sala para 6 personas. Una lavadora secadora también se incluye en el condominio. No se arriesgue y espere que lo reserven en una habitación agradable; Reserve este condominio actualizado hoy.

Limited on kitchen items, such as no scissors. Very few kitchen towels and wash cloths. Could be cleaned better in certain areas such as around windows, doors, vents. Dusty and dirt. Sliding glass door would shut all the way so wouldn't latch or lock. Notified owner and he did reply saying he was aware and planned to have it fixed after our stay. This did make us nervous as I wasn't comfortable leaving valuable items in the condo. Even though the condo was up a level off the ground it isn't impossible for someone to access the balcony if they really wanted. We had to come up with our own security measures. Did add some stress to our trip and inconvenience. Washer makes a knocking sound and some light bulbs are out in places. Toilet handle in master bathroom sticks down when flushed so have to lift it. Both bathroom fausets are a bit short so when you turn them on water gets on the counter which gets personal items wet.

Great Home Base

Our family of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent our mornings and evenings immersed in activities such as scuba diving, jet skiing, and fishing excursions. The condo’s location was ideal, offering breathtaking sunrise views, easy access to the beach, and a relaxing poolside retreat. Its convenient setting also served as a perfect base for all of our adventures.

Always a great stay

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Ocean Pointe. The property is definitely the best in Taverier for the price. This particular condo was beautiful and well decorated. The owner was responsive to needs and everything was well stocked. Highly recommend.

Fun trip with my son great place as advertised bar an grill at the docks were closed lil disappointed with that but everything else was great they still had a bar at the pool an food truck every day

Great place

We had a great time. Perfect place for my husband and 6 year old. Clean and enough room to spread out. Our son loved the pool. Great location in the upper keys. We will be booking again!

Excellent location and condo!

This condo is in the best location as it is an end unit, closest to the private beach. You can also see the water and marina with beautiful landscaping! Nice two bedroom condo with full kitchen- would definitely stay again!! Host was very responsive and easy to work with!!!

Quiet getaway

Condo was clean and well stocked for our purpose. Ate breakfast in and dinners around the area. Best location on property IMO. Deck/patio not very large but that appeared to be all units not just this one. Pool clean and nice variety of music played for all. Property pristine. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 5 had a great time! Building 5 is a good location. Convenient to the beach and pool. The condo is bright with plenty of room. Wonderful view overlooking the marina and ocean from the balcony off the living room area. Dave is very responsive and a great host.

Great Property! The host response time and customer service is amazingly fast. Location is convenient and the property has a great little private beach and beautiful dock. Enjoyed the sunrises each morning. Wonderful pool for family that was opened late. I highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Condo was as advertised. Enjoyed the quiet end unit and view of the marina, proximity to the beach, pier and pool. No issues with parking, gated entry added nice level of security.

Wonderful Condo in a great location!

Ocean Pointe has it all...great pool, great hot tub, tennis, playground, and an awesome ocean front marina and beach area!! Everything is well manicured and well kept on the grounds and in Dave's condo! You will not be disappointed. The view of the ocean while preparing meals in the kitchen is so peaceful. It is a great location for all the fun water activities in the keys!

Perfect location, best building

Great time here! Building 5 is the best location at this property for sure. Tiny patio but met our needs perfectly and was fun to watch the boats come in and out. Convenient to the beach and pool too. Condo has all necessities and more. Beds were comfortable and we slept great! We’ve been to the keys a handful of times and my husband said “keep this place on speed dial”. Owner was a great communicator and easy to work with and check-in, even at 2 AM, was a breeze.

Great condo and property

The condo was neat and spacious. It was great to look out at the Atlantic beyond the marina and watching the comings and goings of an osprey family. The pool was beautiful, but at times hard to find a chair. Still, the heated pool was warm and excellent for swimming laps or lounging after a fun-packed day. Some of the highlights were beach combing at Curry Hammock State Park, and snorkeling at the reefs of the National Marine Sanctuary. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the kitchen and going for flatbread pizza at the property’s restaurant and bar. The bedroom was comfortable and inviting. All the appliances and equipment worked great! Dave, the owner, very accommodating and extremely quick to respond. It was a great location from which to explore the Middle to Upper keys. We would highly recommend this condo.

Paradise

What a great location and view. The property was exactly as described. There were beach towels and fishing tackle for outdoor adventures. The kitchen was very well stocked and we wanted for nothing. The master bedroom king size bed was comfy. The property felt very secure with having to go through a 24 hour security guard. The pool and bar are wonderful for relaxing as is the beach for snorkeling. We loved our stay and were sorry to leave - we would definitely come back again.

Keys rest

Lovely place. Good location to pool, beach, gazebo and cafe (cafe was closed for remodeling-too bad). Pictures are accurate except there is a parking lot on the left of the balcony but doesn’t really matter. Nice to have 2 full bathrooms. Beds were comfy and beach towels were great. Nice pool and we always found a spot to lay our things but it did get crowded. The food area was a food truck instead of the pool concessions but it had decent food. Building 5 seemed the best location.

Wonderful!

The unit was absolutely perfect for my husband, myself and our two teens! Lots of space for everyone to relax. The building (#5) is the perfect placement and central to the beach and pool. The kitchen was fully equipped as were towels in the bathrooms. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and gave suggestions when asked. We would highly recommend!!! Because I like to know these things when I read reviews: notable nearby restaurants- Snappers, Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe is great for lunch, Pilot House on Key Largo, and Market 88 is a must for dinner- make reservations and take lots of sunset pictures!

Gathering Spot

This location is close enough to the Miami Airport for pick up/drop off but far enough away to be in a relaxing vacation spot; and great proximity to all the Keys have to offer; including a day trip to Key West. David did a wonderful job of staying in touch and addressed any concerns and questions; both before and during our visit, in a timely manner. The unit was perfect for our family. The view was wonderful. The balcony, albeit small, was a favorite spot. We enjoyed the pool, beach, and taking little walks around the property, and watching sunrise from the gazebo. The cafe, bar and poolside services were closed the entire time we were there (4/26-5/5), however there was a food truck by the pool. We would stay again.

Only complaints

We booked thru a private owner. But OceanPoint bookings, we heard about several complaints of rooms not matching descriptions. Also, the restaurant/bar needs to update website. Not a full service restaurant. No breakfast served and 4 sandwiches to choose from and way too expensive for microwaved food.

A week in paradise

We had a wonderful time staying in your condo. We will definitely stay again and plan our next trip around it’s availability. We have had a son living in the area for over 25 years and have stayed different places around Tavernier. Only problem wa the living room tv. Never did get it to work. Do you have another condo in ocean pointe. Have other families who could join us not stay with us. The pool was heavenly esp with your close location. Great value for the money. Thanks again.
