Amazing Getaway!

We had the absolute best time staying here! Everything was as-advertised, beautiful condo and amazing view from the private lanai. Everything you need is there and the location can't be beat. We loved our stay and will definitely book again in the future.

What a view!

We absolutely loved staying here! The view of the ocean and seeing all the turtles was amazing! The place was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The management company was extremely helpful in providing links for things to see and do. We will stay here again!

This top floor Pou Poa unit had nice views and all the accessories we needed to make the most of our visit. The place was well maintained and property manager was great with communications in advance of our arrival. Great option if you are coming to Princeville

Nice stay

We had a lovely stay, and the condo was nice. Views are fantastic, and the location outstanding. Condo bright and spacious, with efficient a/c units. Efficient communication with the host, and we were grateful that we could check in early.It was clean, but could use a replacement of bedding and sheets. Carpets and furniture are a bit worn as well. For the price, it seems not unreasonable to ask for a bit more "sharpness" or TLC. Overall I recommend the unit.

A gift...location and views amazing

I'm always a bit anxious about how the reality of a reservation will play out...this condo exceeded my expectations. Location basically at the end of the road in Princeville but close to so much - with stunning view from the windows and Bali Hai sunset a few steps away, made our vacation. The new AC worked like a champ, and the size of the condo, well equipped kitchen + made this a great rental for our family - we had enough space to not make each other crazy, and making meals to enjoy on the lanai was a pleasure. Thank you!

Fantastic Condo and location

We loved our stay here! The view of the ocean and coral reef was amazing, and it was just a short downhill hike (nice path with ropes to assist you) to Hideaway Beach. Hideaways is very sandy, beautiful beach with both sun and shade spots, and it’s wonderful for snorkeling. We were also able to walk to Queen’s Bath when the very small parking lot were full. The condo itself was very well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, umbrellas, board games, and a plethera of kitchen appliances, spices and oils. We made use of the Ninja to make cocktails and mocktails! The A/C and fans helped to keep it cool. The location is just a short drive away from Hanalei and all the shops and magnificent beaches. This is an excellent condo and location for a stay on the north side of the island. We particularly liked staying on the top floor for privacy and views.

Just FYI this is in building 7, also there was no welcome coffee provided in the kitchen or coffee filters which was a little disappointing. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. A added plus was the use of beach chairs, ice chest and other beach accessories. The Lori with the management company was very nice and attentive to any questions or request.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Pale Ke Kua before, so we love the location (Hideaways beach is our favorite snorkel spot). But since we wanted A/C, we booked this unit at Pu'u Poa. More spacious than the PKK units, and definitely the right choice for August. Love having the lounging room on the deck and being able to see the stars at night. Only slight downside to this unit was that the view faces east, so you don't get those amazing Bali Hai sunsets from the deck. Otherwise no complaints. Princeville Vacations was easy to work with and the unit was comfortable and clean.

while the view from the condo was awesome I won’t be providing a positive review of our stay for the following reasons: - the condo was dated and well worn - the ac did not work - we were unable to sleep with doors and windows open because the screen doors would not stay closed due to latch missing and the screens in the large windows were torn or not properly in place - the first night we did not realize the screen doors wouldn’t stay closed and they opened during the night allowing bugs in and my wife and I both had numerous mosquito bites in the morning

Mahalo, for your input. Upon accommodating an early check in our guest was notified the AC was inoperable and undergoing repair. The AC company received the part and attempted to repair the AC during our guests stay but it was unsuccessful. Another part was ordered. Ordering parts, supply chain issues and scheduling is very challenging for the island The good news is the AC is now working. The weather was extremely windy and rainy the temperature was in the low 70’s which creates a challenge for any vacation. Princeville Vacations is available 24/7 to address any maintenance issue. There was attentive correspondence with our guest prior to arrival and during the stay. Unfortunately, guests notified us of the screen issues opening from the high winds after their check out. Had we been notified the screens needed attention during the guests stay we would have immediately sent maintenance to repair. We will be addressing the issues and remedying them.

We stayed with our teenage children from Christmas through New Year's and the condo was exactly as described. The views from the condo can't be beat! The condo is on the 3rd floor, which is the top floor of the property, allowing for privacy, so no other unit is above you. It is a very quiet unit and very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. The pool is about a 5 minute walk and also has a beautiful ocean view. The kitchen is equipped with all the dishes/supplies you could need for cooking. The bedrooms, dining room, and living room all have ceiling fans, making the unit very comfortable. Lori, the Property Manager was extremely responsive to any of our questions. We highly recommend this property!

The ceiling fans definitely compliment the Air-conditioning in the living area and the A/C in both bedrooms. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay!

Reviewer Comments: Good:Very nice view of the ocean.Balcony was great, as was porch furniture and gas grill.Beach equipment was great.Nice kitchen dishes,utenisls,pots/pans.Primary shower was great.Great location.Newly reupholstered couch and chairs were nice.Property mgt. was great.Needs improvement/replacement:Kitchen cabinets were dated and showed significant wear and tear.Unit was superficially clean, but needs a deep clean.Air conditioning was VERY drafty.No fans in the bathrooms.Pool was very uninviting - nobody (in the entire complex) used it the entire week we were there.Louver doors on primary bedroom were not appropriate if you have someone staying in the other bedroom like we had.Bathroom rugs were dirty and smelly.Many linens and towels had stains on them.

Very nice but forget about the hot tub

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is very nice and spacious, located in a nice development, with a lovely view of the ocean. The basic kitchen supplies are adequate but minimal. The bedrooms are nice, though the master bedroom has sliding doors which don't provide a sound barrier. The only real disappointment with the unit was the hot tub. The visitor's instruction manual says that the hot tub operates 5 minutes on/ 5 minutes off, which in and of itself wouldn't provide for much of a relaxing experience. But in actuality, after an initial 4 minute cycle, the tub goes on for 1 minute, then off for 15 minutes for the rest of the usage. On the first day of our weeklong stay I reported this to management and was told it would be raised with the owner. I never got any further response which was disappointing. Bottom line, it's a nice unit but if having a hot tub is important to you you'll be disappointed.

Solid choice!

The top-floor condo has lovely views, is centrally located to several North Shore beaches, and is well-maintained. The unit was VERY clean. It is stocked with essentials and has decent mattresses, sheets, towels, kitchen items, etc. The outdoor patio furniture was comfortable and the grill was new. There were not a lot of beach items besides a cooler and small beach towels. My only "complaint" is the state of the window screens - there were massive tears in almost all of them, so lots of bugs joined the party at night if the windows were open. Hopefully, that will be corrected soon. A few things to note: There are a few flights of stairs getting up to the unit, so if that’s an issue for you, a lower level may be a better choice. The Wi-Fi is not ideal, especially when it storms/rains - but that’s Kauai. It may be important if you are trying to work while here, though, so it’s worth mentioning. There is air conditioning (yay!) which is lovely in the afternoons because of top floor heat. As of this stay/review, many of the other units are under remodel/construction - in case you are sensitive to that kind of noise (9-3 weekdays) - for example: the unit right by the pool was being worked on, so it was not exactly relaxing until the weekend -if you are out exploring/beaching all day, it won’t matter. All that said - this is one of the better units I’ve rented in this complex. I would stay here again.

Mahalo for your review, I am sorry you were not able to locate all the beach gear in the outside lanai closet. I will be sure the arrival directions explain where the beach gear is located. Strangely the atrium screens are retractable so they appear to be ripped but they are not connected so they can retract. I have scheduled maintenance to check all the other screens and remedy as needed. I have added to the listing that there is exterior lanai and railing construction work being done in building # 1 which may result in noise & affect the pool area. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay!

This has been my favorite place that I have ever stayed. It is beautiful and clean. I can honestly say this property EXCEEDED my expectations, and I can be picky, especially with cleanliness. This spacious condo was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen items and seasonings. We did not need to buy paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, or shampoo/conditioner, etc. I have stayed in rentals where those are not included, so that was a nice surprise. Moreover, there were beach chairs, toys, and coolers for guests to use. The rental company thought of everything! They were very professional in all of our transactions. One small issue occurred where the AC stopped working and they took care of it immediately. I would stay here again (wish I could live here). My family and I did not want to leave. We loved this property so much and can't recommend it enough! It is AMAZING!

Internet is a little spotty, but could easily have been the area and not the unit. Kitchen was well appointed with all the utensils and items needed. The condo does get a bit warm in the afternoons (like most do there with wall unit AC's and not central AC), but the extra fans they brought in helped. Both bathrooms need new hairdryers, but were supplied with shampoo/conditioner & soap, so that was a plus. Overall, the experience was very nice and enjoyable.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kauai is a favorite for our family. For the amount of money we spent on this Condo we feel we could have done better. Furniture was uncomfortable air conditioner was broken Beds were average.
