Family trip

Great stay. Very close to RMNP and Estes Park attractions. We were given an early check in, checked out movies from the front desk. Staff was very nice and helpful. View of the river is great. We will be back.

Estes Park getaway

The property was very nice and clean. Really enjoyed the deck overlooking the stream. Did not like the stairs to the 2nd floor, I somehow missed that it was not on the main floor. Other than that it was comfy and cozy.

Great location

It was a great location. Close to RMNP and downtown Estes. The trail down to the river isn’t the easiest to get to especially after the pool entrance to down there is locked. No AC which I am sure is typically fine but it was 90+ degrees when we were there and we only had one fan. The kids loved the pool and we were grateful for it too.

I am sorry they were not as easily spotted. You did happen to stay when we (and many other parts of the country) were having a warm few days. We encourage guests to create a cross breeze with the fan/s and open windows. Please, in the future, contact us as we do keep a few additional fans on hand that we can distribute. Excellent location

We came to visit RMNP and the location made it very easy. Comfortable beds. My son said the pull out couch wasn’t very comfortable.Kitchen was well equipped.Kitchen table needed to be cleaned before we used it.There were some crumbs in the pullout couch.Pool looked nice but we never used it because it wasn’t warm enough outside for us to want to.AC didn’t seem to work, but we just opened the windows at night so I didn’t bother to ask about it.Reading this back it sounds more negative than I mean it to. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to RMNP and our condo certainly helped make our trip a great one

We apologize for the cleanliness of the table and pull out couch. We will certainly address with our housekeeping staff as this is rare for our staff. We don’t have air conditioning at Fawn Valley Inn as we are at 8,000 feet altitude and as you shared, having the windows open and using a floor fan if needed, often quickly keeps the unit cool. We do have a three-bedroom condo at Fawn Valley for future stays if you prefer to have a true bed versus a sleeper in the living room. We hope you can join us sometime in the future. Jamie

Great location with beautiful view out the back

Check in was a breeze. 2 rooms with access to the same back balcony was nice for our family. When we needed forks and bowls for our condo, it was way to put in a request online. Same with a small fix we needed, done the same day. So close to the Fall River entrance of the RMNP! We could eat breakfast in the fully stocked with utensils and appliances you’d need before heading out to the Park just minutes away. First night was a bit stormy, so the free movie library they have was handy and the super kind microwave popcorn bags that welcomed us on the counter were the perfect addition to movie night. There is no A/C in the unit, but most of Estes Park doesn’t it sounds like, but many fans were provided and the nights had the perfect temp to cool things down nicely! Thanks for a great time!

Great condo just outside of Estes

We enjoyed our stay quite well. The facility has a full movie library available to play and the location is serene. The on site pool was wonderful and our two daughters loved their time in it. There’s even a nice little river side trail out behind the property for those wanting a little time in nature. The obvious proximity to both Estes and Rocky Mountain NP make it a great center spot to take everything in. Our only issue with the property was that the lobby door slams shut when folks don’t hold it. Since our condo space was directly above the lobby, it was quite noticeable. This probably only mattered to us and the other room on the floor. We would feel our floor and hear our windows shake until about 11pm each night as folks returned from their day. If they could just fix the piston to make the front doors close a little softer, it’d alleviate the issue completely!

A great stay.

We loved our unit. It would be helpful to ask the persons in the unit above to walk a little more quietly late at night. That said, we loved our view of the brook and our balcony.

Okay place for families

Overall impression is that it did look like the pictures. There are definitely a few easy things that could be updated to make it a nicer stay. We were a family of 5, everyone was able to stay comfortably. Pool area was OK, pool was not very kid friendly. Very close to RMNP, however not so close to town. You are on the river, but can't really get down to the river easily. It wasn't the best place we have stayed, but it worked for the couple of days that we were there. For the price you would have expected something a little nicer, not sure if that is because it was a Holiday weekend.

We stayed three nights and had a good stay. Nice location and super close to Falls Entrance of RMNP! Had a minor problem and they fixed the issue right away. Great customer service!

Awesome Condo!

We rent every year from VRBO and can honestly say that this condo was awesome! Clean, decorated beautifully, great scenery and access to the Park and food/town, super nice remodeled kitchen with great appliances/dishes, fluffy towels, comfy beds, plenty of room for 4 adults -- all the things you want to make your trip to the mountains more wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again. Host was on site to answer the few questions we had. We cannot say enough good things about the condo. Best part was hearing the elk bugling once in a while, too. You want to stay here....

Lovely Condo

This is a beautiful condo! It accommodated our family very well. Loved having 2 bathrooms. Being so close to downtown and to RMNP was a plus. Lynette was great to work with regarding some questions we had beforehand. Thanks for the memories!
