Bluffs: No Golf!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided on this rental due to location to the golf course unaware that they have shut it down! Bluff trail access is great and views from the upstairs are good. The amenities inside the house are not great given the money spent. We’ve stayed at many homes in the sea ranch and this is the worst. Small things like hand soap at the sinks, hand towels, simple cooking items like pots that don’t have scratched up teflon, salt and pepper, maybe some coffee/tea, supplying linens....otherwise it’s fine. Don’t stay here if you like to cook or if you don’t want to bring literally everything with you.

Wonderful sea ranch home!

Heartsong is one of our favorite Sea Ranch houses! The location is wonderful, decor is lovely, tons of great games, books, and puzzles, the kitchen is well appointed, and you can't beat the window seats in the loft. Being able to bring our dog with us and having a fenced yard really made it such a nice stay.

Heartsong is my happy place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Sea Ranch for decades. Heartsong is one of our favorite places to stay. This time we had the 3 and 6 year old grandkids who slept upstairs while the adults enjoyed the downstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and hot tub enjoyed. Since it rained we didn’t go out much but felt very comfortable and cozy. The path to the shoreline path is close and you can hear and see the ocean from the upstairs balcony or the hot tub.

The only difficulty was watching the downstairs TV as it was mounted too high for viewing from the sofa and chairs and produced sore necks. Otherwise, a great getaway!

Lovely Home with Great Living Spaces

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this home. It has three ample separate spaces (2 bedrooms with their own baths and a loft with a half bath). The loft has a beautiful reading nook with views of the ocean. The house across the street blocks the sunset, but it's a quick walk to the trail on the bluff. There was also a beautiful enclosed garden, which was perfect for our dog. The house was updated; it was clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well stocked. It would've been nice to have some generic shampoo and conditioner and for the windows to be cleaner so we could appreciate the views even more. But, overall, we loved the house and plan to be back!

It's a beautiful, well-designed house, so there's a place for everything. The master suite is spacious and the loft is a wonderful place to read a book or gaze at the view. It's close to Gualala Regional Park, and and a great place to walk. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the enclosed yard is a nice bonus when traveling with dogs. Beach Rentals is always great to work with: professional, responsive and friendly.

It's located on an especially picturesque area of Sea Ranch very close to town. It took me less than 5 minutes to access the Bluff Trail, and it is an easy walk into the Gualala Regional Park. The furnishings are comfortable and the decorating is lovely....very nice art. There is a great ocean view from the loft. There is an amazing library of books. The kitchen is super well equipped. There is a nice enclosed yard. We were there 6 weeks and totally enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely rent it again.

Nice enclosed area for dog. Contrary to what some prior visitors said here - the house was very clean (although a carpet cleaning wouldn’t hurt) and the wi fi worked perfectly even with two of us logged in to work.

The courtyard is very pleasant and the home is conveniently located near a trail head. Sea Ranch as always was very quiet and the home itself had everything we needed (such as a coffee maker, sufficient pots and pans). We’ve stayed twice before and will again; it is my first choice in Sea Ranch—largely because the fenced courtyard is so convenient for our dog.

Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed this stay. Have stayed here two years ago. Our dissatisfaction was dismal internet connection. Rebutted three times ie. Unplug modem then reconnect. This maneuver lasted 15 to 30 min. I confirmed my I phone and I pad service when back home , worked fine. I didn’t feel and emergency call indicated . I would rent again but make clear how to contact staff on weekend to adjudicate? Malfunction of Internet connection.

Our Home Away from Home

The house is perfect for us, clean, bright and always well maintained. And close to the trail head for long walks along the coast with our dogs Lucy & Milo. This trip we saw harbor seals, sea lions and migrating humpback whales! Make sure to check out the farmers market in Gualala on Saturday mornings for delicious local offerings. And if you’re up for a short drive the Bird Cafe in Point Arena is not to be missed! And as always, no matter when you arrive Beach Rentals makes sure that checking in and out is a breeze.

Long Weekend Retreat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Calm and cool start of summer weekend on the Sonoma coast. If you pine for dark and quiet nights and days full of activity, kayaking, biking, or hiking the coastal and mountain trails this is the place for you. Be sure to check out the tide pools while breathing in the fresh sea breezes too. Be prepared for a slow drive up CA1, thankfully there is lots to look at as those unfamiliar navigate our hilly and curvy costal highway.

So beautifully finished inside, great size (hoping to get a little extended family gathering scheduled there), lovely fenced garden in back (great for dog and all of us to chill), great views and steps from the ocean bluff! We even love the pantry/laundry room. It’s very hard to leave.

Love Heartsong

I love the layout of the house and the proximity to the Bluff Trail as well as to shopping in Gualala. It’s wonderful to have an enclosed back yard for a toddler and our lab. The hot tub was not warm on our first night but a call to Beach Rentals (always so helpful and friendly) brought a service person fix it within a few hours- terrific. The house is clean and the kitchen stocked adequately with everything we needed. We will stay again next year hopefully when my grandson has a baby brother.
