Such a relaxing stay!

The house was very clean and well kept. It had a beautiful view of the bayou. My little girl LOVED it and we sat on the porch just soaking in the water snd animal noises. I loved how clean the house was. Totally recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice quiet get away!

Awesome vacation

We enjoyed staying at the camp so much. My granddaughter wants to go back as soon as we can. It was so cute. The neighborhood kitty cat came every day to visit. The house had all the amenities that you could ever need on a stay away vacation.

Quiet camp on the water

The camp was just as advertised. It is cozy and has all the basics. We had a short stay and it was cold so we weren’t able to take full advantage of the outdoors. There is a nice deck with seating overlooking the river. The bedrooms were comfortable and the shared bath was spacious. The washer is located outdoors under the house and the dryer is indoors-both worked fine. There are many places to eat and get supplies within 5-7 min including a Walmart. Overall we had a good stay and would return. Thanks!

Bayou Manchac

This house was great. Really spacious for a 2BR. Kitchen was well equipped. Real nice deck and grill with view of the bayou. Can't say enough about the location. Right on the water with a nice pier and scanoe. Classic Louisiana experience. Neighborhood is really peaceful. Very nice just sitting outside and night and hearing the sounds of the swamp. Convenient to town. Great value and highly recommended.

Louisiana vacation

Everything was great! The house was clean and easy to find. Everything was as we were told it would be. We enjoyed our visit very much. I had hoped to see a gator during our stay but it didn't happen. Probably for the best! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to that area.

What an amazing time

One of my best VRBO experiences! The hosts are lovely. The property is close to everything you need but had a remote feel, which is what I was looking for. Fishing off the dock was bountiful. I had family over for crawfish boils and there was plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this property and would definitely book another stay.

Great country/town locale

Great secluded spot, yet very close to town with great shopping and dining options within minutes. Enjoyed sitting on deck and listening to birds and watching fish jump in bayou. QUIET wooded neighborhood with water on both sides. Lili pads are beautiful. Unit was clean and fully equipped. Great Time. Will rent again.

Just what we needed!

We had such a wonderful time Relaxing and Enjoying the peace and quiet here at This beautiful Bayou home! We spent our morning enjoying good coffee on the deck overlooking the water We barbecued yummy local shrimp on the grill and we spent many hours fishing on the fishing dock. We caught some good sized fish! We took an evening sunset, walk and spotted lots of gators in the swamp across the street! It was exactly the experience we was looking for the perfect Louisiana Bayou house! The owner of the home lovely! She gave me several recommendations on yummy places to eat and local Attractions! We will definitely be back!

Awesome Place

Great space and great stay. Clean and easy to get to all the places that have brought you to this area. I must mention. That I do not like hotels and live in the rural area of Arkansas, so we do not like being on the beaten path, just close. Love this place and will book it next year around this time.

3 week getaway

This place is wonderful. It’s so peaceful on the bayou and just what my soul needed. The host were super ,they went out of their way to make our stay great. The house was clean and super comfy. I would definitely stay here again. We loved every single minute of our time there. Susan and Therese are so nice and are right there for whatever you need , we have stayed at many vrbo’s and they have been our favorite host so far. Love this place and already looking forward to returning!

A new addition to the family

We we’re staying in Louisiana as the newest addition to our family was being born in Baton Rouge. The home was exactly what we needed the the hosts were very accommodating. They even gave us a children’s book as a gift the the new little one!
