Lake Front Cottage

Encantadora cabaña frente al lago cerca de todas las atracciones principales de la costa media
Hermosa y nueva cabaña de troncos de cedro que incluye un porche proyectado con una cubierta envolvente con vista al lago y un camino serpenteante hacia el muelle. El primer piso incluye un concepto abierto de cocina, comedor y sala de estar, además de dos dormitorios, uno con una cama queen size y el segundo con una cama litera con una cama doble en la parte inferior y una doble superior. También en el primer piso hay un baño completo. Una lavadora y secadora grandes se encuentran en el sótano. Arriba hay un dormitorio principal tipo loft con baño completo. La cocina está totalmente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos actualizados. En la planta baja se encuentra el sótano y la ducha exterior de cedro.

The house was very clean, we really enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the pond. The host even left stuff for the kids to enjoy s’mores around the campfire.

House was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the pond and firepit. Host was very responsive when I couldn't get the code correct on the digital lock and gave me an alternative code. A little noisy at times, since it is right off Route 1 traffic. Otherwise, convenient to Ellsworth for restaurants and groceries (15 minutes). I would stay there again.

This was a wonderful choice. Place was stocked with everything we needed and a little more. Beds were wonderful! Very clean. Host was very responsive the one time we needed to contact him. On a very busy highway so getting in and out of the driveway was hard but lovely area.

Beautiful, clean cottage with a great view of Heart Pond. We loved the patio and all the windows while inside overlooking the pond. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. A very comfortable and and cozy home away from home. Grocery store in Bucksport about 5 miles away had everything thing we needed. Great home.base to visit Acadia. Great communicatio with owner. We made wonderful memories and Heart Pond cottage will always have a special place in our hearts.

This house was a dream, the location was perfect, the house was very clean, it had everything we needed! The yard is where we spent all our time when we were there! Rupert was great l, he was so understanding when we asked to extend our trip an extra day do to a family member getting sick on day 1 and our 1st day was tied up with that. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

I usually don’t do reviews. But I have to say, this place was the best VRBO place I have ever stayed in. It was so clean, updated, beautiful view of the lake. Everything you need is available. We even had canoes and kayaks available. The owners have restaurant and area info readily available. If you are looking for a place in the middle of all the shopping and nightlife, this place is not for you. But if you are looking for a place to relax and just enjoy some peace and serenity, this is perfect.

Beautiful Maine cottage! The house has a great location off the Acadia Hwy that is a short drive to Acadia, Ellsworth and Camden. Comfy beds and many thoughtful details including the makings for s’mores over the fire pit! The home was spotless and had everything we needed for a great vacation. A highlight of our trip was the back patio overlooking the pond with a fire pit! We spent every evening enjoying a fire and recounted our adventures of the day. The only downside was some traffic noise but with the great location was not an issue.Our host responded quickly to questions and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend!

This property is just perfect for that Lakeside get-a-way in Maine. The owners have thought about making it easy for the guest from check-in to check-out. The property is spacious and has a fully appointed kitchen and outdoor grill. There is AC and heat. The owners had water and the items to make s'mores for us. The outdoor patio, fire pit, dock and float are the property highlights. They have canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, floats, goggles and snorkel gear. As others have said, during the day you can hear the road traffic but that did not matter to us and at night everything quiets down. The location is central for exploring taking about 1 hour to get to Camden, Bar Harbor, Goldsboro and 40 minutes to the Bangor Airport. The owners were accessible had we needed them or had questions. But they have a nice welcome packet with everything you need including local attractions. I give this property and experience a 10 star review.

Lovely cottage, gorgeous setting

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Host is easy to communicate with and clearly wants you to enjoy your stay. Property is warm, clean and inviting. Setting is so pretty and peaceful. It is a bit close to the road, so you will hear cars/trucks, but that was not a major issue to us. Lots to do on/near the property, and plenty more if you venture out! Would happily stay again!

Beautiful Maine cottage on a small, crystal-clear pond in Maine. About halfway between Bangor and Bar Harbor (Acadia). Also great access to Deer Isle, Stonington, Blue Hill, and ferry to Isle au Haut (Acadia). Beautiful waterfront with kayaks and canoes, life vests, swim float. The owners beautifully furnished the cottage, and it's clean and well-equipped with absolutely everything you might need, including AC (it was a particularly hot and sticky week). It does back up to Rt. 1, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn't really bother us.The bugs were aggressive, but they backed off after the weather cooled down. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Serene Pond Setting

Communication was great from making reservations to departing. Property was easy to find right along highway and in evening traffics noise was very quiet. Home set up as described and we had everything needed to feel right at home and cooking. Beautiful setting right on the pond and water was like glass in evenings and mornings. Plenty of room and has wifi that can get a little weak at times but we still continued to do some work and all is good. Would recommend to anyone needing a few days away to enjoy a book or to visit all the nearby attractions.

Great vacation back at the cottage!

This is our family's second visit to the cottage, and it was everything we were looking for in a vacation. The house is located close to Bucksport and Ellsworth with many restaurant, ice cream and grocery shopping options nearby. We spent two days in Bar Harbor, one hiking Acadia, another in the town walking the sand bar to Bar Island at low tide. It's a short 45 minute drive to the park. We love being able to canoe/kayak/swim right out the back door. We like to be able to relax and just spend time together for our vacation, and this cottage lets us do exactly that. The owners have thought of everything, which is why we like coming here so much!

Cute cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin on Heart Pond for 4 days in June 2024. The outdoor amenities provided by the owners were great, canoes, tubes, paddle board, a delightful shaded patio, fire pit, grill and much more...including a beautiful view. We lounged and played in or by the water almost the entire time. This is a great place.

great stay in a cozy cottage on the pond

This was our home base for a few days as we explored New England. the house was great and the pond made for a nice evening swim. The light switch locations are a bit funny but we found that to be charming. Thanks for letting us stay in your place!
