Overall, it was as listed and beat my expectations. The front desk, concierge and proprietary owners all responded in a timely maner to questions and were very welcoming.

Everything about this condo was amazing!

The condo was equipped with everything we needed. The views were phenomenal! We enjoyed watching the whales from the lanai! We did not hear noises from any of the other condos like you so often do in resorts and condos. Great location close to Napili and Kaanapali Whaler's Village! We will definitely return to Mahana!

View in unbeatable

I just can’t say enough about the view. The complex is the closest to the water I have ever stayed at. Sitting on the patio watching the whales perform was worth every $$. The building is in a great location. We really enjoyed the “beach walk” path every day. Walking distance for groceries, meals and activities. Won’t hesitate to book again. Mahalo Maui ❤️

Amazing Views!

The unit was very spacious and nice! You can’t beat the amazing views! The only issues we had were with the front desk issuing duplicate key cards for our unit. We had another couple walk into our unit and then shortly after that happened, we were locked out (they must have deactivated our original cards). We would definitely stay again.

Return to Mahana

We have stayed at this property before and were impressed. We were very much looking forward to staying again. For the most part our expectations were met. The location is very good. The appearance and cleanliness is excellent. Check in was staight forward. The unit itself was mostly good as well. However, unless your party requires the extra room, the two bedroom is quite large and can be challenging to keep cool. Ceiling fans would be super helpful, but alas there are none. Our other issue, while not unit specific was the availability of hot water. During certain times of the day it can be scarce. Again, more of a property issue than a unit problem. Besides those two things it was an overall good experience.

Great stay with a few issues

We had a wonderful time at the Mahana! The location is excellent and our ground level unit gave us direct access to the beach and pool, which we loved. This unit had two full bathrooms, which was very useful. It was nicely furnished. The mattress was very comfortable, but the pillows were thin and flimsy. I don't want to go into further details for this specific unit, since this booking was "luck of the draw". We thought we were booking a specific unit, but missed the fine print that said that the pictures were just general representation and that the actual unit would be provided at check-in. We had tried to request an upper floor unit when we found this out, but at check-in the assigned unit was ground floor and there were no other options. Ultimately, we were very happy with the ground floor and would be happy to go that way again, but would make sure we were booking a specific unit. As for the resort overall, everything was excellent! We loved the pool and hot tub, which were hardly ever crowded. The beach was good for snorkeling with better fish sightings than we had on a snorkel trip. Also several other good spots within a couple miles. The walking path that connects all of the resorts along Kaanapali beach was awesome and perfect from a short stroll to a 4 mile walk. Multiple restaurants are available in walking distance, including a great food truck area just outside the resort. If we return to Maui someday, we'd definitely have the Mahana at the top of our list!

Spectacular Condo

We loved the view, very comfortable living space. The bed was so cozy. Enjoyed sitting in the 2 rocking chairs observing the whales, turtles, paddle boarders. Something exciting to see everyday and awesome sunsets. Thank you so much and can’t wait to return.

Just wonderful!

Seamless from check-in to check-out. Beautiful one bedroom condo with all the amenities, not to mention that incredible Mahana view. Customer service was outstanding- gave us an earlier than normal check-in as requested which was greatly appreciated; quickly reacted to an air conditioning malfunction; always friendly and pleasant at the front desk. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely Amazing!!

This trip was about our 10th time staying at the Mahana with our 18 and 21 year old kids. We love this resort as the views are amazing! This was our first time staying in this unit and it was beautifully perfect. We loved everything about the unit to include the views, amenities and comfortable beds. We will be back soon!!

Everything was very nice. With recent construction, the windows to view the ocean were very dirty, but you could still see the ocean and go on the lanai to really enjoy the sound!

Few small touches would go a long way

The unit we stayed in was good but could have used a bit of updating. to spruce things up a bit. There were no boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, snorkels in the unit which was disappointing. Great location and access to the ocean and pool.

Construction noise was definitely an issue!

We suffered through 2 days of jackhammering noise from 7a-5p until the property host could transfer us to a room in the completed building. No compensation in rates for those 2 days. Very frustrated by their “we’re sorry but too bad” policy. Won’t be back.

A very nice facility with great views of the channel between Molokai and Lanai islands..

This is probably one of the best smaller complexes on this shoreline of Kaanapali. You are literally right on the beach, not set back like larger complexes. Our 8th floor unit allowed us to watch whales from our lanai at any time of the day. Our condo was spacious for two people and well equipped in the kitchen area. The pool area and hot tub are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful peaceful setting

Awesome view of ocean. Very quiet setting, dense tropical foliage, lots of birds, lots of lounge chairs on the ocean front. Very comfortable inside. Just a few steps from the ocean front pool to the beach. Great snorkeling right in front of your room. Loved it!

Amazing view

We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. The view is straight on ocean front, during whale season there is a constant showing of whales that is like nothing you’ve ever seen. Staff is great. Location wonderful! Across the street fromTymes market, couple restaurants, pool is wonderful. This is the place to stay!

1st time to Mahana!

Liked the area /location of the property --and privacy very much. staff all pleasant and very helpful. Expected unit to be more updated. Kichen poorly equipped. Ice machine not working. View phenomenal!
