APARTAMENTO EN PATIO DE NIVEL INFERIOR ENCANTADOR EN EL SUR DE KC

Elegante sala de estar con chimenea interior, 1 habitación de matrimonio, baño completo con amplia ducha a ras de suelo, cocina, escritorio, patio de acceso con excelente entorno tipo parque. Perfecto para una pareja, amigos cercanos o el viajero solo. Convenientemente ubicado en 435 & Holmes Road, este es el lugar perfecto donde puede llegar fácilmente a donde necesite ir.
Disfrute de los sonidos pacíficos de una brisa en los enormes árboles mientras se relaja en el patio con un café. El bosque bordea la parte posterior y es probable que veas algunos ciervos deambulando.

Nuestro retiro es un espacio dedicado para nuestros huéspedes que incluye una acogedora sala de estar que ofrece un sofá cama doble y un amplio sofá seccional para dormir más.

El apartamento es todo el nivel inferior de la casa.

Otras cosas a tener en cuenta:
Hay una mesa de billar Pre 1907 Brunswick de tamaño completo para aquellos que disfrutan de un juego o dos de billar.
Los huéspedes pueden entrar y salir de las puertas delanteras y del patio utilizando el código del teclado idéntico provisto con la confirmación. Actualmente NO hay un camino pavimentado hacia el patio trasero y los huéspedes pueden caminar en el césped hacia la parte trasera. Host was very welcoming! Communicated and greeted us and walked us around to the back where the patio and door was explained. Everything made me feel welcome and at home it was like I was staying with my grandma. I definitely will be coming back this summer and be telling all my friends how much of a safe place this is to stay while in Kansas City.

This was not just a stay, it was a sanctuary, quiet, peacefully and artistically designed, with beautiful gardens and a wonderful patio. The host accommodated all of our needs as we came to attend a church week at Abundant Life KC and to visit friends and family. My husband is a mobile, but disabled veteran. The host not only accommodated us, but cared. Very grateful for the new connection and we plan to be back.

KU Parents' Weekend

We enjoyed this peaceful and welcoming retreat. It is close to Kansas City Stadium allowing us to stay for KU parents' weekend and host our son for breakfast on the patio before the game and play a bit of pool and simply be together for a quiet evening. The glider chairs and benches on the patio invite rest and conversation -- a real bonus connecting with a busy college student. Sharon was most welcoming and gracious.

Very peaceful and pleasant stay

Susan is a wonderful host and very sweet and easy to talk to. The Kirkwood Retreat is a very peaceful place to stay if you’re in the KC area. My husband and I had the best sleep ever in the cozy, quiet and cool bedroom that Susan provided. The backyard patio is absolutely beautiful and was right up our alley. Great outdoor furniture, covered patio and she provides a nice fan and a Bluetooth lantern to hook up your favorite music to. The backyard is huge and beautiful. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Thank you Susan for an amazing stay!! We plan to come back!!!

Love this place!

This place was awesome. A basement of a house in a very quiet, beautiful neighborhood where you’re a hop, a skip, and a jump away from anything you want to do in KC. Susan was a very warm and welcoming host and it was lovely meeting her. when we venture back to KC, we will definitely be staying here again!

Stay at the Kirkwood Retreat

We had a wonderful, relaxing, healing stay at the Kirkwood place. Susan is a warm and welcoming host. She was very attentive and accommodating the entire time we stayed there. The yard is beautifully maintained and there were many wildlife creatures that visited. We saw birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and even deer. Anytime we need a place to stay in Kansas City, we will always stay here if it is available!!

Lovely stay

We were in town for the NCAA wrestling championships and this was the perfect little VRBO for what we needed! Susan was so nice and checked on us daily! The yard is absolutely breathtaking and a great place to just sit and relax!

Wonderful experience

Susan did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable and at home. She had so many things available to make our stay easier, from coffee pods to charging plugs. She had thought of many things that helped our time there be stress free.

Perfect Hotel Alternative

Private and quiet

Close to Kansas city, yet very private and quiet. The check in/out process was a breeze and the host was very gracious. Property is comfortable and welcoming. Pool table was a big hit with family. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Cozy Retreat

We really enjoyed this property because the host was so wonderful. The space is compact, but had everything we needed. The TV had a good variety of channels and there was a full sized pool table with all the trimmings. The bed was comfy and there was a walk in shower. The kitchen was minimal, but we ate out while we were sight seeing and only used the microwave to heat up left overs. The host made sure we had everything we needed. She greeted us with delicious pastries on arrival and baked us cookies the second day. The only down side is that entry involves walking down stairs and across the back yard to gain entry to the walk out badement. If you have mobility issues, this can be challenging. However, once inside you have a cozy retreat perfect for a couple with the best host we've encountered.

The hostess was very nice! Property listing in VRBO was very misleading. I had no idea that the "apartment" was in the basement of a house with owners upstairs.

As a lifelong resident of Kansas City, I have lived in this place for 40+ years. It is a safe and friendly neighborhood where walking the streets anytime is a peaceful experience. Located just a 1/2 mile from the interstate, you can get anywhere you need to go in the city within 15-20 minutes.

The park like setting is beautifully landscaped which features an arbor, gazebo, small creek, statues, bamboo, table top fountain and a large lawn. The covered patio is a Zen like environment for relaxing no matter the weather. Inside decor is a unique eclectic vibe of antiques mixed with modern pieces.
