Privacy fence, security cameras, private parking in rear, several restaurants within walking distance (Whiteys Ice Cream, Hungry Hobo, Jimmy Johns, Subway, Happy Joes, Taco Bell, 7-11, just to mention a few). Very clean unit with full kitchen. Within walking distance of Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Putnam Museum and Fejervary Park

Great Little Spot not far from adowntown

Loved my time staying here. Was in the area for work and had Per diem to work with. Host gave very clear instructions - no problems getting in. Neighborhood is mostly quiet, just out of downtown and a great place to rest when I wasn’t working. 10/10 would recommend!

Convenient and affordable

The apartment was spacious but a little old and dusty. The bathroom access was a little inconvenient. The owner/Manger was very responsive and accommodating. We had a good time.

I enjoyed my stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The lower unit where I stayed at has everything you need: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and tv room. The house was clean and the price was excellent. Although the house is old and there is currently no A/C, the central heating system works and that is all you need if you're not staying during the summer. The neighborhood is honestly not the best, but I stayed 2 months and had no problems, and the neighbors were very respectful. Both the property manager and the owner were super quick to respond and meet my needs. Very pleased. I highly recommend this house.

Double booked

The title says it all. We had just finished a 500 mile bike ride and we’re looking to get cleaned up and cooled off. We were informed that the unit had been double booked and the other party had checked in. Our host was most apologetic and helped us find a room at a nearby hotel. She refunded our money. I don’t blame the host, I blame VRBO for letting this happen.

Way too cold, shower & home!

Way too cold, shower water & home. Host never fixed the problem (which was the pilot light) or called to check on me until AFTER I said I was leaving. Too little to late & I left. VRBO refunded me unused days, but I still had a less then comfortable stay in a cold home w/ cold shower that charged me regular price for that.

Affordable option

Overall the property was nice and clean and conveniently located to Downtown and Palmer College. The owners were extremely communicative and welcoming. The house is very spacious so you don't feel like you are on top of your party. Definitely only sleeps 3 people. If you try to fit anyone else, there won't be anywhere else for them to sleep.

Great Spot to visit your College kid

The house is in a great location to visit St Ambrose as it is less than 1 minute away. The neighborhood seems dated, but overall clean. The house has been updated and in good shape and the owners were VERY responsive when things were not up to snuff. Overall we would stay here again and thank you to Antonio and Brenda for the help on this trip.

Perfect

I had a three month contract for the hospital and I wanted a place that was safe to stay. The manager Tony stayed in contact with me and made sure everything was good. They were doing some remodeling but got the little things done in my unit in a timely manner. Perfect for what I needed. Very happy

Good Property

The property in general wasn't that bad, there was no A/C, the futon wouldn't completely open up and we had to buy an air mattress to sleep on. The location isn't the best and isn't that safe. I was able to communicate with the property manager about the WIFI issue and they were quick to fix it. Would I stay here again? Not if I had to but it wasn't all that bad.

That house was very clean and easy check in. Only problem we had was the unit above us was very noisy. Seemed like they were walking around all night and had hard time sleeping.

Our stay

This property is exactly what is described. We arrived after dark and there was excellent lighting. We had no troubles finding the place or getting in. The place was spotless and provided everything we needed. There was even a compliment beverage center. Teas, coffees, and cappuccino. We forgot to bring cooking spray and found some in the cupboard. We also cooked all of our meals for the weekend instead of having to go out. OOO! AND THR BED! It was so comfortable we wanted to bring it home. It had plenty of pillows although we brought our own. We also somehow forgot one and the owners were quick to respond and will be sending it back to us ASAP. The only thing that we found we're missing were measuring cups for baking, but I would say if that is all we had to complain about I think they are doing a pretty good job. Thanks again for sharing your property we will definitely be staying again when we have trips to the area.

Disappointed

We prefer a vrbo to a hotel. We booked last minute. Positive reviews and close to destination. Sadly we were not impressed with the location. The view from the street is nothing like the view from the alley. We knew we had to park in the alley and I felt better lighting was needed to get to the entrance. We arrived very late. The alley and neighboring properties were a mess with litter,weeds and junk. The rental was clean and looked as presented in photos inside for the most part. Peeling paint, missing register cover in the bathroom were big red flags for us. Furniture in the tv room was very uncomfortable. We thought what a deal when we booked. After fees and staying we would have prefered a hotel. It was not what we expected. After our card was charged for the stay we were even more unhappy. Fees doubled the cost of the stay.

My stay was very nice the property was very nice and clean inside I felt very safe I like the idea that they had hot water when you want to take a nice hot shower overall I thought it was pretty good I would most definitely rent it again.

Nice place to stay in Davenport

Antonio's property is a nice place to stay in Davenport. The apartment is spacious, with a full-size kitchen, family room, bedroom. Antonio's communication was very good and he was responsive to my messages. The only issue I had was that the apartment did not have air conditioning. Although there were several floor fans, it was very warm and not comfortable as daily temperatures were in the low '90s.
