This was just the right space for our family over the Thanksgiving holiday! There was plenty of space to prepare food and gather. The bedrooms were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. Thanks for the stay!

The house worked out great to host family and some of the wedding party for our daughter’s wedding. Enough space for everyone to hang out and relax together. Great location.

Bix 7 weekend

My family came in from Texas for the Bix. I am originally from Davenport and my parents are still living close to this property. I found it very homey, clean and easy acces to everywhere.

This home was spacious and clean. It is a 125-year-old home, nicely updated, but definitely lived like an older home, Not in a bad way at all. You can’t beat the location! The host was accommodating and the house was well appointed with coffee and toiletries. Would definitely stay again.

Property was right around the corner from all the shops, restaurants and bars in the Village of East Davenport. Every morning we would walk down to the delicious coffee shop and stroll down by the riverfront. The property had everything we could want, was very clean, and the location was perfect. The owner was excellent at communicating things we needed to know. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Very accessible host

The house was exactly as advertised. It is an older home. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Pete was very easy to communicate with. We had an issue with one of the toilets. He replied literally minutes within my request to have it looked at and had it fixed the next day. Very pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Devenport. We were in town for our daughters white coat ceremony. The house was very comfortable. With four bedrooms and two full baths, everyone was their own space. The kitchen, dining room, and living had enough seating for our family. We would definitely stay here again. The house had all amenities as advertised. Thank you!

Great location!

We were in town for a graduation. Great space for a group. Large kitchen and dining room space. Might be difficult if traveling with elderly guests due to grade of the yard and steep/narrow stairs to the 2nd floor. Really close to all of the action in the Village of East Davenport.

Girls trip

We all enjoyed our stay! We came to Davenport for a girl's trip weekend and had a blast. The house was older, but everything was in working order and as pictured on the site. We all loved that we were able to walk to all the restaurants and bars in the area!waworking orderon the site.

Golf Trip to the Quad Cities

This property is perfect for a 4 person golf trip. The house has everything you need. It's location near East Village is very convenient for going out for dinner after a day of golf. Fyre Lake and Deere Run are awesome courses. I would certainly stay here again.

Great house

Great place to stay. Easy check in and out. House is clean and well stocked with essentials. Enjoyed a great long weekend with family. Lots of things close by for shopping, etc.

The house was clean and in a great location for access to restaurants and shops in East Village. The layout of the house is a bit odd. One bathroom for the three bedrooms upstairs. One bathroom for the main floor bedroom and living area. The main floor bathroom is off the kitchen. The floors are uneven and the steps are small. I would not recommend this house to anyone that has difficulty walking. The front door is not useable. The shower/tub could use anti-slip strips. Would I stay here again, yes.

Reunion successful

We left a message at the house. Everything was in place as expected, and the flood did not end up causing any problem. Weather also was great. A couple of us do not walk well but there were not so many steps that we had any trouble. One of us smoked a pipe but never smoked in the house. Younger ones enjoyed East Village and we all enjoyed seeing the river.

Met our needs while visiting for a wedding.

The property was nicely redone inside and well stocked with what we needed. We stayed here with my 81 year old parents and I'm glad there was a downstairs bedroom because they would have struggled with the stairs to upstairs. My only concern for them was the sidewalk down to the house as it was narrow and a little uneven, but they did ok.

Quaint!!

We were in town for our daughter’s pinning ceremony at St Ambrose so we weren’t at the rental much. It worked good for our family. Maybe I misssed it in the description, but the house sets up on a hill and there are some slopes going to the property and the stairs are a little steep. My mother usually doesn’t do steep things well since her knee replacement but she still did okay. He was great to work with and was very accommodating with anything we neeeded!!!
