We are in a residential area in the Town of Warwick. Guests need to be considerate to residents in neighboring homes. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.

Wow! Nice place right on the Lake. We’d come again!There was one issue with the Clothes Washing Machine. The front loader door and soap dispenser should ALWAYS be left open after use! The result of not following this rule of thumb is gross mold!The owner should be made aware that the front dockside cleat on the boat is loose and should be repaired ASAP.

A True Gem

My family and I were invited to present at NEAF at Rockland Community College and they offered a hotel room, which was not going to work for a family of five and our golden retriever! Instead they gave us an allowance for a STR. This home was about 35 minutes from NEAF but had plenty of space for all of us and was dog friendly, and had beautiful views of Greenwood Lake. Our host Jody was very friendly and accommodating and replied to messages very promptly. Upon arrival, the home was immediately impressive, beautiful, had amazing views and was much better than the pictures could ever show. It had everything needed for a stay with abundant towels, linens, cookware and entertainment. We had a busy weekend at the event but it coming returning every night to this home always felt rewarding. After the event ended on Sunday night we had an opportunity to really enjoy the home and it was a true, wonderful evening. Some of the best things about this home included the breathtaking views of the lake, the fenced in yard where dogs can roam freely (if they're not inclined to jump into the lake!), the warm and inviting atmosphere including furnishings and entertainment, abundant essentials, and last but not leas, a friendly and accommodating host. Parking at the front of the house was able to fit our family minivan parallel to the house, and it looks like it may fit two or three compact cars next to each other of parked perpendicularly. Overall, this house is a true gem!!

Cozy Weekend Getaway

My partner and I stayed here for a quiet weekend getaway and it was perfect. The home was cozy and welcoming. Enjoyed the snow fall and picturesque view of the frozen lake. Would definitely book again.

Lovely lakefront property.Was absolutely a gem of a spot!However, as we only had 2 pickup trucks to drive during our stay, parking was tight. The listing specifically says “cars”, & I should’ve paid closer attention. And the view out the living room windows more than made up for it!

Birthday weekend

The lake house was exactly as described in the listing. The property was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out back on the deck watching the ducks and Geese swim by while enjoying our morning beverages. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The house is located within an easy drive to downtown Warwick. We enjoyed a fantastic weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday.

Lakefront House on Greenwood Lake is awesome. We were in town to visit Watchtower Headquarters in Warwick. The house was clean and comfortable. Communication was Jody was quick. We enjoyed the lake so much! We look forward to returning again.

Visiting family nearby

This was a very comfortable well equipped home with plenty of room for relaxing, dining and parking. The view of the lake was beautiful and it was close to hiking trails as well as grocery stores and restaurants. Very quiet during our stay in early May.

Long relaxing weekend

My family (teens and 2 dogs) enjoyed a wonderful long weekend here. Everything was as described, beds were comfy, and home was clean. Neighborhood and surrounding areas were welcoming and quiet. Would recommend.

Nice late winter weekend stay

This is our second time renting Jody’s beautiful lakefront home and was just as enjoyable as the first during summer. Not so cold we couldn’t enjoy dog walks around the lake. Then the stunning view and a warm fire upon our return. Fantastic accommodations for two couples and pets with an extra bedroom as well for larger gatherings. Thanks Jody! Carol.

Very clean, beautiful home with great lake views

We came for the weekend with my parents for a little ski get away. This place was very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels, and had amazing lake views. Jody was great with check-in process and communicating. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful property to enjoy nature

My family and I loved this house. It was cozy,very nicely furnished and the views of the lake and surrounding area were beautiful. We sat outside and just enjoyed watching the sunsets and the beautiful fall foliage. The surrounding area was quiet and there are so many great places to eat nearby like the Sunshine Family restaurant and Karen’s Cafe. You will love this place if you’re looking for a quiet and cozy retreat.

My husband, Ira and I are New Yorkers. He grew up in the Bronx near Yankee Stadium and I grew up in Mount Vernon. As a child, Ira's family would spent summers in the Catskills and he had a special memory of being in a motorized boat with his Dad and friends on a beautiful, grand lake. When our kids were about that age, he drove us to find 'the lake' and we did!

The moment we stepped foot on the deck and took in the incredible view of the lake, we fell in love. To this day, the deck is our favorite part of the house. It is so peaceful and lovely.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Along with these views, it is a very functional, easy house. The open floor plan downstairs, makes it very comfortable for visiting, sharing a meal or a movie and just hanging out. The three bedrooms upstairs are roomy with views of the lake.
We are so excited that we have been able to remodel both bathrooms, the kitchen with granite counters, new cabinets and appliances and hardwood floors downstairs!!
