Wonderful experience, 120% satisfaction!My wife and I travel a lot, and have lived in cabins for so many time, and this so far has been the best experience for many reasons:1. Clear guidance from friendly host2. Unbeatable view to see the mountain peak from the deck3. Plenty sunshine all day long4. SUPER clean rooms and bed sheets5. Great location - close to the winter park, Ruidoso downtown, Ski Arpache, and grocery storeAnd so many more!All in all, awesome experience and highly recommended!!!

Relaxing and Comfortable Place

We stayed at the Sierra Blanca Mountain View Cabin 2. The place was clean and well stocked when we arrived. We usually have to purchase additional items for our stay such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc....but not this time. The owners Jim and Michelle are so pleasant to deal with, and very helpful when we had questions. They responded promptly and assisted us in things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone wanting a nice and relaxing place in Ruidoso. As a side note, the place is also close to Albertsons, and the wonderful Log Cabin restaurant. The deck has a beautiful view, and we enjoyed spending our evenings and mornings there.

THE VIEWS ARE AWESOME

VERY COMFORTABLE CABIN WITH AN AWESOME DECK WHERE YOU CAN DRINK YOUR COFFEE AND OBSERVE MOUNT SIERRA BLANCA. THE FURNISHING MAKE YOU FEEL AS THOUGH YOU ARE HOME WITH PLENTY OF SEATING FOR A GROUP. WE RENTED CABINS #1 & 2 FOR OUR FAMILY OF 15 AND THIS CABIN HAD PLENTY OF ROOM TO BE THE MAIN FOCAL POINT DURING THE STAY.

Stunning view and great location

We couldn't have been happier with our stay in this cabin. The layout is great and it had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our time. Beds and furniture were comfortable and everything worked well. The view was amazing from the two walls of sliding glass doors and we enjoyed spending time on the deck and could still be out there when it was raining. The hummingbird feeder had lots of action and sometimes there were elk or deer in the yard. The location was perfect too. It was close to mid-town and groceries, but you felt out of the way and it was nice to be up high. The sunsets were beautiful and the price was very reasonable.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

Our family of four enjoyed our long weekend here. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was close to shopping, restaurants, and the grocery store. The house had several seating options in the living room which made it nice to enjoy games or watching TV. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfy! We really enjoyed hanging out on the porch drinking our coffee and taking in the views!

Solitude with a View

Great location on top of the hill, which allows for great views. Very short drive to shopping and other attractions of Ruidoso. Really not much to add to what is already posted, i.e. great communication, homey, comfortable, clean, plenty of kitchen essentials, etc. Would definitely stay here again on any future trip to the area.

Outstanding Home and Super Hosts

We stayed for a week in this beautiful home. It was our second stay and this is now our favorite home-away-from-home. Jim and Michele are truly Super Hosts who catered to our every request. The communication from them at every step of the booking process and during our stay was phenomenal. We will be back!

Beautiful morning view of the mountains

The house was perfect as it was close to the Elegante,where the training was being held. The view to the mountains covered with snow was beautiful. Getting up in the morning and having coffee to that kind of scenery was the perfect way to start a day. We had a very good stay at this house.

We had an amazing time!

This was our 2nd time to stay here and we had an even more amazing time! We love the location! It is very clean and provided everything we need! We will continue to stay here in the future. The cabin owners Jim and Michele make sure we are taken care of. I highly recommend this cabin!

Great Stay

This house was located high on the end of a cul-de-sac, which provided great views of the surrounding mountains and a quiet serene atmosphere. The location is as close as you’d want to be to shopping, dining and groceries. The house itself is very clean and spacious. We had deer and humming birds at the house daily. Highly recommended for a family or couples getaway.

Very Comfortable, Relaxing Stay! Side & Back of the Cabin has a Deck with great views of the mountain to hang out, bbq & relax and is only a few minutes to grocery store & restaurants. Highly Recommended!

Warm, welcoming and cozy

I have stayed at a lot of STR's and this one by far has the BEST view ever! I'm not joking when I say that either. The main living area was nothing but sliding glass doors that open up to outside deck and it is just beautiful. The home had everything we needed and then some. The beds were comfy, I was worried about all the windows and it not being warm enough but I was wrong, it was plenty warm in there and we even started the fireplace up one day which was nice. Parking was perfect, the location was decent. We had no problems whatsoever and we would definitely stay here again. Jim and Michelle were in constant contact and made sure we had everything we needed so the communication was great. My Daughter even left a shoe behind that they found and are going to be mailing it back to me. Highly Recommend this property!!

Beautiful, well maintained property

One of our best stays ! It is obvious that owners Jim & Michele have worked hard and put a lot of thought into the home to ensure your comfort. We loved the gas fireplace, fabulous views of snow capped mountains, and privacy on the quiet dead-end street. Ruidoso's Lighted Christmas Parade did not disappoint and we enjoyed hiking and renting a UTV to explore the Lincoln National Forest. A drive up to Ski Apache and windy point was beautiful and we saw wild horses, deer, and elk everywhere ! We also went to The Flying J Ranch's benefit dinner & show. Shopping opportunities are plentiful and we came home with several treasures from local shops. A weather tip for those from warmer climates: dress in layers and bring plenty of lotion & lip balm ! Humidity is very low and temperatures can vary wildly from the valley to the mountains and from the sunshine to the shade.

Five minutes from Ruidoso downtown shopping, where you park, stroll shop to shop and dine at one of dozens of eateries, Ruidoso is well known for its shopping! Ski Apache is a short drive away, Ruidoso own ski resort. Ski in the winter, hike and bike in the summer at Ski Apache, they have a great downhill mountain bike trail. The gondola runs year round. Ski Apache also has the highest zipline in North America. Lots to do here, and this cabin is close to it all!
