We respectfully disagree with this review and would like to clarify what occurred. During your arrival, our housekeeping team was running slightly behind due to the peak summer rental season. The home had already been cleaned, and only two beds remained to be made. The delay was approximately 30 minutes. To make up for this inconvenience, we extended your checkout time by three hours at no additional charge. Regarding the bathroom door handle, the message you sent us during your stay stated: "I showed the woman who came to change the sheets, but she couldn’t fix it, and my daughter got kind of 'locked in' the bathroom a couple times." This was reported on your first day. At no time during your stay did you request that maintenance come to the property or indicate that the issue required immediate attention. After your departure, our property manager and maintenance technician inspected the door handle. They found it to be operational and determined that it simply needed to be tightened. We also found that the home required cleaning beyond what is considered normal after checkout. Although we documented the additional work and provided an invoice, we chose not to charge you for those extra cleaning costs. We believe your review does not accurately reflect the condition of the home or the service we provided. We strive to address guest concerns promptly and fairly, and we remain committed to providing a high-quality experience for all of our guests.
