Esta encantadora cabaña recientemente renovada de 1930 es ideal para una escapada relajante. La casa está situada en un terreno arbolado a poca distancia a pie o en bicicleta de parques, la playa y el muelle, tiendas, restaurantes y bares. Relájese y descanse en el gran porche proyectado en el porche delantero o en la cubierta trasera sombreada del árbol. Beautiful place to relax and be a family

The cottage is a small slice of paradise with a great location next to the main shops and playground for the kids. Being close to my family there is a bonus as well. 10/10 will be booking in the future.

Fairhope stop on our 5 week road trip

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, and in Fairhope. The location has great access to all of Fairhope, by foot, bicycle and/or car. For a couple with a dog, it was perfect.

Perfect Stay

The cottage is adorable. It is clean, well-stocked, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the location as it was convenient to town, the coffee loft, and restaurants. We would definately stay again. Thank you Liz for being an oustanding host.

Enjoyed the stay

Very nice property and great location. Host was very responsive and took extra measures to ensure our comfort during a cold snap. Landscape can prove to be difficult to maneuver when entering or entering the home. Otherwise a nice stay in a very nice town. Met so msny nice people.

Hidden Cottage

Liz’s cottage was very cute and a very quiet and secluded spot within the city. Great location. We thoroughly enjoyed many walks at the pier and at the Grand Hotel. We did a fair amount of travel to the beaches and Fairhope was such a nice place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the busy traffic areas. We enjoyed the relaxation Liz’s cottage offered.

Fairhope and beach vacation

It's a great little place! Had everything we needed and more. The only thing would be better beds... We all were a little sore from them. But other than that amazing little spot and a cute little house.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Cottage

We loved the Hidden Cottage. Felt like home. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had everything we needed for a restful and relaxing vacation. Fairhope is a great little town. We enjoyed the Farmer's market and the concert by the BaldwinPops at the park over the pier. A very welcoming community. We hope to visit again.

Comfortable and comforting

The house has been thoughtfully updated to make a lot out of a small space. We entertained in the kitchen and in the dining room, both of which are well-designed and fun to be in. The dining room is an especially fun room for meals or to sit at the table and work on the computer. Great location, and Liz was a wonderful host—communicative and proactive.

Great Little Cottage!

We enjoyed 10 days at this clean and comfy cottage. Considering the age of this home, it has been very nicely updated! Unfortunately it was quite chilly during our stay and we were not able to enjoy the screen porch or the back deck. Only downside was traffic noise from an adjacent road. We enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Fairhope and the many great restaurants. We did not experience one lousy meal; Fairhope is definitely a foodie destination!

Winter Retreat

This is a beautiful cottage that is very well equipped and very comfortable. I remarked to my wife, after our first day, that it felt just like home. The location was excellent. My dog and I had a daily walk to beautiful places such as downtown, the beach, the pier and bay front trails or just through the beautiful neighborhoods. My wife had a very short drive to her shopping and restaurants. Although it was just the two of us we felt like it’s large bedrooms and baths would make it very comfortable for two couples. The host is delightful and wants you to love it as she and her husband do. It was a wonderful stay.

Wonderful to work with

The cottage is beautiful and was very neat and perfectly clean upon arrival. Unfortunately, however, we spent our first day and a half working online, getting caught up with our jobs after the travel days; then, we had to leave because of a hurricane! So, we feel like we never settled in before racing out. The owners were lovely, however. They checked on us to ensure we were following the weather and offered to make up our stay.

Cozy hideaway!

We loved our stay here! The furniture was comfy and beds were great! Everything was very clean and ready for our arrival. Check in was seamless and Liz was great and easy to get ahold of with any questions we had. The kitchen had all we needed to cook and the coffee loft was a short walk! Great location, so close to everything, and walkable neighborhood. We traveled with older dogs and the area surrounding the house felt like a new adventure for them everyday though we didn't leave the property. We weren't expecting the crazy heat (silly of us) but the AC kept up beautifully. The amount of shade that surrounded the house really helped with that too! The screened in porch was probably 15° cooler than outside and was really nice to sit on. We loved this house and our stay! Thank you Liz!

Beautiful sanctuary

We had the incredibly difficult task of going through my grandmother's apartment and clearing her things out after she passed last month. We live in Wisconsin, so it's a long drive for a sad reason. The whole time we were in Alabama was one stressful or upsetting thing after another. This lovely property provided us our one place of sanctuary to escape. It is a hidden gem and allows you a place to recover and face the next challenge. The recommendations from the host in the guest book are fantastic and the Coffee Loft got to know us very well. The whole home is decorated beautifully and the showers/ tubs are spacious, which is a nice change for us. There are plenty of towels and other niceties that you don't think about until you don't have them. Communication with the host was very clear and made everything so much easier. Check in was simple and the requests for check out were very very reasonable. We're hoping to spend some time in the area again for a less stressful reason. Thank you for giving us a little slice of peace in a whole ton of chaos!

Hidden cottage

Clean, comfortable,homey. Front screened in porch leads to front room and 2nd bedroom. Very nice furnishings. TV many channels, internet good. Kitchen well equipped. Liz thought of everything. Main bedroom and bathroom roomy. 2nd bathroom near front room. Inside dining room. Outside open deck with furniture. Great area, felt so safe. Quiet area. Walk to downtown moderate with upgrade to road. Pier in downtown. Close to grocery store. Piggly Wiggly has excellent seafood market. For bicycle we transported our bikes to downtown and rode to Mullett Point. Fish river grill, two sisters bakery and sandwich, and Punta Clara candy and bakery. About an hour drive to Gulf State Park and great bike trail. Soft shell crab sandwich at Bone and Barrel was so good with side of grilled asparagus. Shops downtown are fun,history museum is great. We would highly recommend this cottage and area. Only one complaint, we didn’t stay long enough. Maybe next time. Thank you Liz. Terry and Karen

Nice getaway cottage in beautiful Fairhope

Very cute little cottage in a great location, convenient to downtown Fairhope and also to 98 which is the road that leads to everywhere else. Cozy for 2 but easily accommodated 2 guests for the weekend. I would recommend that winter visitors bring warm socks and sweaters…the furnace worked great but it is an older, frame cottage so still got chilly once the sun went down. (I do think we hit an unusually cold streak of weather for the area!) Liz was a wonderful host, very responsive and also checking in occasionally to make sure we had all that we needed.

I fell in love with Fairhope when our daughter and her family moved here. In 2015, our first time to rent in Fairhope, we rented this cottage. In the following years, we rented numerous times. When we decided to buy our realtor showed us many houses that we thought were ok. Then this lil gem went on the market. When we pulled up to the circular driveway I had a suspicion that this would be the one. As we walked to the front door, my heart grew fonder. When the front door was opened and I walked in I knew this was going to be our lil place in Fairhope.

The cottage is off of Section Street which is the gateway to everything in Fairhope. You can walk or bike to restaurants, bars, shopping, the beach and pier. The house is surrounded by tress which provides privacy.
