The perfect retreat! Tucked away on a private lane, 15min to downtown Fairhope.

This home is the perfect combination of cozy rural beauty and convenient access to downtown Fairhope and the rest of the Eastern Shore. It is located at the end of private lane on a one acre lot backing up to natural forest. A pleasant and restful retreat for a family or couple to relax and/or explore the local area. The rear screened in porch is perfect to view the lush and shady yard which has two private driveways for easy parking. The house itself sleeps 7 comfortably with all new furniture throughout. The kitchen has all you will need for home cooking, but many restaurants are also in close vicinity. Wireless internet, new TVs with Roku devices, and washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience. We hope that the John Deere House will be an excellent home base that you will love during your stay in Fairhope.

Our stay was spectacular. This was our first time renting a place on VRBO, and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience.The host really set up a nice space. The house is on a beautiful property and everything was thoughtfully planned down to the smallest detail. We had everything we needed and found the house very comfortable and a great home base for our vacation. We'll definitely come back to stay next time we're in the area.

What a great little place off the beaten path! A cute house for a family retreat. Easy access to Fairhope, Daphne, and Malbis. Our host, Charles, was a great communicator including little details like a personalized welcome sign and labels on all the wall switches. We will be back.

Perfect place for relaxation and family time. Only suggestion, would be better instructions on using the TV’s. As senior citizens, we are a bit technologically challenged. Would definitely book again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had such a great stay here! The property is tucked away, so it’s quiet and peaceful, which made it the perfect place to relax. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the beds were really comfortable—we all slept so well.It worked out great for all ages, even with small children, and gave us room to spread out without ever feeling crowded. We were in town for a wedding, and it was just what we needed—a calm, comfortable home base during a busy weekend.We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly spot that feels private and relaxing.

Quietness and the forest

We had a great stay and enjoyed the seclusion. The minor thing was we didn’t have the passcode to get in. I called the owner and gave to me. He started that the code should have emailed to me the day before.

A bit of heaven in Lower Alabama

The location is excellent for us... we have a 13-year-old Border Collie rescue and he really enjoys walking in the area.... quiet for him and few less distractions.. The VRBO is truly home away from home for us
