This is our third time staying here and we enjoyed our stay. The only reason I give 4 stars is every year there is always something with housekeeping that’s a little disappointing. I had to make the top two bunk beds, the dishwasher was completely full (clean) so we had to unload it upon arrival and they don’t refill the hand soaps at any of the sinks so there was barely any when we arrived and were down to one bottle for both bathrooms/kitchen for the last day and a half of our stay.

Great Vacation Rental

This was our second time staying here and we really like it. The perfect size for our family, and it’s really nice to have the kitchen, laundry, etc. The only thing that could be better is the cleaning prior to our arrival. The floor in the kitchen was a little dirty, bathroom mirrors were still dirty from previous guests and the deck and patio furniture is full of cobwebs so we didn’t use it. Nothing that would prevent us from booking again next year.

Great space, just not very clean

We loved the space—location was great, furniture was comfortable, we loved having coffee out on the deck! Unfortunately the place was not very clean. Kitchen surfaces were greasy and had crumbs. The air return grate and ceiling fans (as well as end tables/coffee table) were extremely dusty.

Pool Problems

The condo was lovely, but the resort didn’t have pools open due to “maintenance “. The real problem was lack of lifeguards. When a resort really has no lake access via a beach, the pools are a must. This was a disappointment.

Okoboji Long Weekend

Great location - poor communication

Found out the day before our stay that the water park had been shut down until further notice. The resort was offering 25% discount - I sent an email asking if they would honor that as well given that the water park was one of the main reasons we selected the location. I did not hear from the owner the entire time or after. Very disappointed that they couldn't be respectful enough to reply. The unit was very nice and well equipped.

Loved the condo. Great location and view of the lake from the deck. If anything the place was better than the pics. We would definitely rent again next summer.

Great overall experience. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner/updated. There was construction in the unit above us so, there was noise that made it difficult have conversations or watch TV. Everything else was great and I would stay here again next year.

Bridges Bay Condo

The condo was great, fully stocked and great location! Lots to do for the family! It was a huge disappointment that the main outdoor pool was closed, but we still had a great time.

As Advertised-A Great Place to Relax

Very clean, and has everything you would need to set up for a long weekend, or a week or more. Upscale feel. Nicely decorated. A very comfortable owner’s retreat. Except for the weather, our stay was perfect. We’ll stay in this condo again.

Condo Cleanliness a Disappointment

Regardless of the Covid 19 pandemic going on currently I expect that when I pay the price for the condo rental that I will find it in spotless condition. However, because of the current pandemic I was expecting to find the condo in especially clean condition. I was so disappointed to find it filthy, almost as if it hadn't been cleaned at all. There was long black hair all over the master bathroom (not mine) so the floor obviously hadn't been cleaned and the microwave still had food remnants in it so that hadn't been cleaned either. I found 2 ibuprofen pills in the carpet in the master bedroom so obviously that hadn't been vacuumed and the coffee table also had food crumbs/remnants on it. So, I spent the first 2 hours of my vacation cleaning the place and I washed the sheets and towels because I could not trust that they had been washed. I have rented several times at Bridges Bay condos and have never been disappointed until now. I have always found the condos in impeccable condition and condsidering the price I pay for renting them I think that I should be able to expect that they are clean. At the very least, the owner is getting completely ripped off by whomever they are paying to clean the condo. But, in the current state of pandemic, cleanliness is a must so it was very, very disappointing.
