Had so much fun over the weekend, the only thing we noticed was the downstairs bathroom could use a new shower curtain as it is orange on the bottom. The hot tub was a bit murky when we went to use but was still functional! The house is great for bigger families, plenty of places to sleep and very comfortable. We never got any check out instructions so if there are some maybe add them to the house binder with all the information! Overall a great time and place for the family

Such A Beautiful Home - But So Much Deferred Maintenance

I understand that short-term home rentals get abused, but the owner should anticipate an address an elevated number of maintenance issues. This house has so many things have gone ignored. Some of the issues were addressed in previous reviews and still remain. A few things we experienced: - Wine fridge in the kitchen did not work (yes it was plugged in) - Dishwasher did not work (I was able to jimmy-rig, but not perm fix) - Dishwasher start button has been gouged out (?) - Dishes/glasses in the cubboard were really dirty - had to wash - One of the stove burners doesn't work - taped off - General condition of all kitchen appliances is VERY distressed - Gas wood stove in the upstairs living room has overwhelming gas smell - Wine fridge in the downstairs bar did not work - Fridge in the downstairs bar did not work - Hot tub does not heat up and has error message - Master bath toilet doesn't always flush - handle is broken - Downstairs door to the patio is REALLY hard to open - sticks horribly - None of the stereos work (I only mention because it's in the listing) To be fair, the weather was terrible while we were here, so these issues were much more pronounced. Perhaps not so obvious if you are able to do outside activities. A couple of things to be aware of that are outside of anybody's control - just so you know: - Furnace has one zone - upstairs was 72 degrees and downstairs was 59 - The neghbors are not friendly - they make it known they don't like short-term renters there - The house to the north sits at an angle and they have a bright motion light that illuminates all of the bedrooms at the back of the house every few minutes during the night. - Swarms of gnats invade the deck in the evening - just turn off outside lights It is not all bad though - there are several positive aspects to this property too. Even with all of the issues above, we still made the best of it and enjoyed our stay. I only mentioned the list of issues because this is not a low-cost or a budget rental - it has a "luxury" price tag. It is a beautiful house with great potential in a beautiful area, but the high price I paid does not match its condition. The owner really should take these reviews to heart and fix up this house to bring it up to a luxury condition.

Fantastic location, nice home, subpar management

The home is priced right (at least in winter) for what it is, a nice sized newer custom home on the coveted north shores of the lake, not too far from town. If you're not picky about updated decor and amenities and having good communication with management you'll be fine. But if you want everything listed in good working order you might be disappointed. You'll probably find yourself asking questions like "why isn't there a good sized sectional couch in the living room nor a TV" and other head scratchers like no coffee pods provided. And forget about asking specific questions like "are there dvds" etc, as their corporate management doesn't know the house well at all, plus don't message them via VRBO or call them but instead use their texting system for semi fast communication. Note to Vacasa - this house needs a deep cleaning plus organization bad!

Great Lake house for me & my group of friends. We all fit comfortably, utilized the multitude of games and amenities. Great pitch & deck with lake access! Just lots of spiders & bees, beware!

An excellent place to stay

This home on the lake was an amazing place to have our family reunion. The kids loved playing in the water off the dock. There was plenty of space on the deck for the rest of us to relax. I would highly recommend this home.

Great house!

This house was perfect for our group! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out! The house has an awesome deck with a beautiful view! The house is easy to get to and close to town. We can’t wait to return!

Anniversary weekend

This property did fit all my familys needs. Beautiful house and view of the lake and mountains. It was a bit disappointing however to find a few things in the house that were not working and or should have been addressed by maintenance prior to us coming. Neither of the wine/beer fridges were working, the fireplace upstairs was out of order, and that was very disappointing considering our stay was in early November. Also, the handrail going down to the basement was loose, and a panel in the bar was also not secure, the bumper pool table is completely broke!! I feel that with renting a house of this magnitude, everything should be working and or fixed.

Lakefront home

This was a nicely appointed home, comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed for a fun vacation stay. We enjoyed the decks, dock, outdoor firepit, ping pong and kayaks. The home was nicely furnished and had room for everyone in our party. The view over the lake was beautiful. There was one drawback and that was a terrible HVAC system. When the main floor of the home was a comfortable temperature, the basement was freezing. We had to leave the air conditioner off all week in order that people could sleep and bathe in the lower level, otherwise it was just too cold. Unfortunately that made the main level hot and stuffy. Since we spent most of our time outdoors it was not a deal breaker but I might not rent the home again due to the discomfort this caused.

Great location and house!!

The house is equipped with everything needed for a great weekend away! Close to restaurants and downtown Sandpoint. One day we rented a boat at Sandpoint Watersports which was fantastic. Quiet neighborhood, with beautiful views. The huge backyard was perfect for a day of yard games. We spent way more time outside than inside!

Great vacation home

Great weather through the week and the Lake was up and provided lots of water opportunities. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed for our large family. The beach was particularly well set up for access to the Lake, as well as seating on the large deck with Adirondack chairs perfect for watching the bald eagles and ospreys.

Beautiful lake front house

Can’t say enough great things about this house and the whole process. Beautiful quiet neighborhood, amazing views and the house was stocked with all the essentials (fully stocked kitchen, spices, pantry supplies, bathroom soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer). The icing on the cake was the American flag that was available to fly. Thank you so much for making our weekend one to remember!!

Great home, but...

Loved everything about this home. The hot tub, beach, new dock, and kayacks were great. Would have given it 5 stars, but the air conditioner did not work. Vacasa sent their maintenance man out, but he knew nothing about air conditioners - he did say this had been a problem in the past. He brought us some fans, but they didn't alleviate the heat. So, half of our stay was ruined by unbearable heat on the main floor. Luckily the weather cooled off for the 2nd half of our stay.

Beautiful place

A beautiful house need to only bring personal items of course meals. The hot tub was a big hit for it was a cool weekend. The new dock is beautiful. The only problem we had was with the bull moose that seemed to have made the the backyard his own. witch made the trail to the lake ,dock where our boat was very dangerous the grandkids could not play out side the moose was even bedded down under the deck next to the hot tub at night . He was a handsome fellow but be where their very dangerous. But had a great time anyways.

Wonderful Property

We just enjoyed a 5 night stay at this beautiful property and it is our hope to return next summer for even a longer duration of time. This property is very well maintained, was spotless upon our arrival, had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property manager was on the ball and promptly replied with any questions I had. And, the check in and check out process was very smooth. Thank you!!!

Lovely house, but...

Lovely house, extremely well 'stocked' kitchen, but problems with electrical (finicky microwave, finicky bev. frig), main refrigerator did not work and property management did not communicate beyond providing a small replacement frig (for 11 people), so thank goodness we had our own coolers, and operated with daily purchases of ice. If you have AT&T - leave your phone at home - no coverage. Garbage was never picked up. Lockbox did not work at check-out. Cleaning lady still there at check-in at 4:00. Biggest problem was poor communication from property management, made worse b/c of horrible cell coverage.
