Great Beach House

Great location with a very responsive owner. Spent all our time at the beach and ate multiple times at the two restaurants within a mile of the property

Great location for week at the beach.

This is a great location to enjoy a week at the beach. Plenty of room for all of us. Loved the private beach and even watched the sea turtles come ashore to lay eggs. Property could use a little sprucing up. Plenty to do in Melbourne and great restaurants.

It was a great location and very peaceful. We were very pleased with our experience.

The host Ken was very very nice and very helpful. He checked on us and made sure we were good and even told us about a rocket launch that we had front row seats to. I would highly recommend this property. House and host are definitely a 5 star!

Easter at the Beach

Great property right on the ocean. Privacy on all sides. Beach very uncrowded. Spacious and comfortable home; even an elevator. Good amenities in neighborhood particularly well stocked Publix grocery store. Ken is a super host and readily available, if needed

A wonderful stay on the ocean

Ken is a great host and very welcoming. The house is large and has a wonderful deck right on the ocean, along with stairs down to a great fenced area perfect for our dogs. The house is described as a "luxury" property and while the location is fantastic, the house is older, decorated in a more eccentric and funky style. The drawers and cabinets weren't clean, but we had a wonderful stay

Beautiful private family vacation

Perfect quiet residential vacation home. Loved everything about it. It was almost like having our own private beach. Ken was a great host! Will likely be back in the future. The deck is a perfect place to enjoy dinner and enjoy the waves. Perfect spot for sea turtle watching also. Got to see a few coming up to nest.

This property is right on the beach! It is private so there were no crowds! It was so nice to be able to go back and forth with ease. Owner provided everything from towels and sheets, to Easter baskets for our kids! Super thoughtful!

Quiet private beach 🏝️ area with wonderful deck ocean view!

We enjoyed a quiet stay. Most of the time there was hardly anyone else on the beach! The owner supplied many basic items to use freely if you need them. Even coffee, paper towels, napkins, plenty of T. Paper, Kleenex, and many necessities. Towels were plentiful, and a washer and dryer were also available.

Great Location

Ken is a great owner. If you need anything he will be so helpful. Love the proximity to the beach and the great quiet community with so many nature preserves and parks nearby. Too bad the turtles aren’t around this time of the year. Be surety to visit Sebastian Inlet Park about a 10 minute drive. Countryside orange grove in Vero Beach is another nice stop. Also, we were lucky to view some SpaceX launches from the deck - wow!

Great beach front property

A+ beach right outside your door. A+ turtle watching from the deck. Our family had a wonderful time. This is a very casual home, a bit on the well worn side which fit our family perfectly. Beach toys, kayak, 2 paddle boards, 2 boogie boards, beach umbrella provided. Publix grocery just 5 miles down the road so super convenient yet so much privacy on the beach. Owner very helpful and will help with any questions or concerns.

Beachside Oasis

We brought our family, nanny, and friend with us to the beach house. We were greeted by Ken who graciously walked us through the house and gave us a tour, showing us where things were for our use. We had some great weather and some memorable times at the residence. We loved the house and some of its unique features and artwork. The place was equipped with everything we needed and more and was in a great location. We spent many mornings watching the sunrise from the porch. The beach was private and quiet and we managed to snag a multitude of conch shells to bring back with us.

Absolutely beautiful location

This house is in the most beautiful location. The fishing is unlike anywhere else we have stayed. We caught fish everytime we threw out our line. The elevator was so helpful getting our luggage upstairs. Ken is the most gracious host we have ever had. He even brought flowers and a bottle of wine and left it on the front porch for our anniversary. The beds are very comfy. The beach was clean and we went hours without seeing anyone else on the beach which we loved! I highly recommend this place if you want to unplug and enjoy a slice of heaven.

Beautiful house on the beach...paradise!

We spent an amazing 10 days at this property. The owner was super responsive to all of our needs and very kind. The beach is 5 star and can't be beat. The house is full of character as well. Linens, kitchen utensils, beach items........ you name it and the house had it. Views of mama sea turtles at night (of course far enough away to give Mom enough space). Beautiful sunrises..... and the best part for us- our dogs could also accompany us. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to be back very soon!

Excellent value for a beautiful beachfront location.

The home was exactly what we thought it would be. No surprises. However, the view, location, serenity and sounds were even better than we had hoped! The property itself is exceptionally clean, but a bit worn so don't expect luxury. However, it has everything you need to have a great time. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, nice kitchen and a comfortable living area. And the access to the beach can’t be beat. The upper deck is wonderful and has lots of space to spread out and relax. The owner Ken is a great guy and a pleasure to rent from. You won’t find a better house to rent when you combine price and location. Our dog loved roaming the beach as well as the fenced in yard. We would definitely rent here again!

Mama sea turtle heaven

My husband and I booked this home in paradise to get destress before starting IVF. On our first night we had two mama sea turtles lay eggs on the private beach right out back, the second night we had one. On the third night we decided to grab a sand blanket and lay closer to the dock to watch for mama's, that night and every night after we were able to watch many turtles come lay eggs. What a beautiful scene! When watching for mama sea turtles we made sure to be very quiet, using only red light and gave them enough space so we didn't disturb them. It's very important to research sea turtles, to make sure you are aware of what could disturb. In the morning you can see all the tracks along the shore! We went shark diving in Jupiter with a company called shark addicts- while you're on vacation you should look them up! We did a manatee kayak tour out of Melbourne, Went to the brevard zoo, only zoo I know of that you can kayak! We went to Melbourne Market so we could prepare a few seafood meals at home!

Unsafe Property, Dishonest Manager.

When we arrived at this property it was in such a state of disrepair, it was unsafe for our family to stay there. We made the decision to leave within 30 minutes of check in and spent the first day and a half of what was supposed to be a relaxing beach vacation scrambling to find another place to stay. We were not expecting 5-star accommodations, and did not take the decision to leave lightly- we had just paid a lot of money for this vacation! However, THIS PROPERTY WOULD NOT PASS A BASIC HEALTH AND SAFETY INSPECTION. Major issues we identified immediately that impacted our decision to immediately vacate the property included: - Unstable and rotting porch and stairs - Molding and caving in ceilings - Non-functioning, Filthy ac/ ventilation system - Fridge dripping with condensation - Non-functioning doors to the outdoors We immediately contacted the host to let him know of our decision. He asked us to "do him a favor" and not leave a review. We have yet to see a penny from him. Do yourselves a favor and find somewhere else to stay. Melbourne Beach is a beautiful area- there are plenty of other options- no need to deal with this nightmare!

Renter Beware

This is a condensed version of what I have to say since there is a character limit. This home looks NOTHING like the photos. It is filthy. First appearance, there is outside damage to the soffits and fascia board. The outside of the property is unkempt and there is trash everywhere. Boards with exposed rusty nails. Toys that are dirty and old. Entering the property, there appears to be a black substance around almost all of the vents in the home. There is a rickety staircase leading up to the main level. Appliances appear to be over 30 years old, refrigerator has old items from previous guest and dirty to the touch. Recliner in living room broken upon arrival. Walk out to the patio, multiple boards broken, one area toward the right is unstable. No stairs going down to beach so there is a steep drop. Contractor came in the middle of our trip to install, took three days. Broken elevator that the host warned us about using. Yellowing pillows and mattress. Downstairs slide in door in one bedroom did not open. No screens in entire home, so no ventilation. Washing machine had a thick black substance around the rubber and an odor. One day we had no water, the next day we had no hot water. We expressed our displeasure. We were offered a free vacation next year not to post a review. All of us ended up getting sick after leaving, my two children got sick while we were there. My family spent a fortune on the vacation and did not have the means to leave.

Relaxing Family Vacation

This was a family vacation and we were looking for a great location, easy beach access, and a comfortable place to relax. This home hit all the marks for us. Check in was super easy! Pets were welcomed. Right on the beach & deck was perfect for the beautiful ocean view. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and a great host. Would love to visit again! Amazing Location

This house is in the perfect location! We stayed for a week and got to see mama turtles lay their eggs every night we were there. One night a rocket launched from Kennedy and we could see it from the beach. On the beach it is very private and truly perfect seeing dolphins and sand crabs. The views from the house are incredible. We loved waking up to the ocean everyday.

Living the dream at the beach house

Ken's beach house is amazing! The house is steps from the ocean, and the second floor balcony was everything. The house has all you need for your stay. My family and I enjoyed our week there very much.

What an amazing experience

We spent a week at this wonderful beach house. It had everything one could ask for and more. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. The best part was the awesome view. We stayed at several beach houses in the past and I have to say this was probably the best view we've had. The beach was private, clean and just steps away from the house. We enjoyed the sunsets and sunrise - watching dolphins swimming by and turtles waiting to come ashore to lay their eggs. Our chocolate lab had the best time swimming in the ocean, and running along the shore - some great memories for sure. Truly an amazing experience!
