Beautiful Location

Our trip was a last minute decision and I did not want a hotel/condo. I didn’t even have a destination other than east coast! This was perfect! Not a massive amount of tourist, privacy, it was great! The owner was easy to contact and very responsive. Could not have asked for more!

Chillaxing and Relaxing Beach House

Great location and minimal people on beach. We enjoyed the bar grill that is two doors down. The cloudy weather prevented us from seeing a launch, but a great location to watch one. Overall, we really enjoyed the beach house. It is a nice no frills beach house with an awesome view. I recommend it!

Fantastic location

Right on the beach. Beautiful sunrises every morning. A short walk to a few restaurants. But feel very private and secluded.

Great Location, Not so Great Rental

The location could not be any better. We were right on the beach with amazing views and close to restaurants and grocery without feeling like there were too many people. This is a FOUR UNIT property, but again, we did not feel crowded. As far as the property itself, it was poorly renovated some time ago. The back deck was uneven, and the boards were coming up in places. The floors still had sand on them when we got there. The kitchen had all mix and match dishes and not really enough of anything. There was no salt, pepper, sugar, creamer. For the price I paid, I would expect the basics to be provided. The microwave was so small that I had to turn plates sideways to get them in. The oven digital reader was not working properly, so I couldn't tell the temperature I was setting the oven to. The kitchen faucet was loose and didn't go into both sections of the sink well. The bathrooms were very small and did not have any extra rolls of toilet paper. There was no soap and the shampoo and conditioner that was there were left overs from other people who stayed in the past. Again, for the price I was paying I would expect these to be provided. The place is a meant to sleep 6, but is really only comfortable for 4. The dining tables inside and outside only sit 4. The living room only sits 4. The 3rd bedroom is VERY SMALL. Only a child could sleep on the beds in there. All the mattresses were uncomfortable. Again, for the price, I expect a mattress that I would get at a 3.5 or 4 star hotel, not a 2 star. All the chairs and furniture is stuff I would expect to see at my grandmother's house - it works fine, but is very worn and out of date. We had an amazing time on the beach because we brought our own sun shade, chairs and beach toys. There were some provided, but like everything else in the house they were very worn. I would highly recommend staying in Melbourne for a beach trip, but would not recommend staying at this rental.

Anniversary Stay

This is what we exactly needed ! This was a 5 Star view and relaxation vacation. By far one of the best views we have had in any vacation. House could use some updating but it was exactly what we expected for a beach house. If you want a beach house vacation this is it. Kick off your sandals and enjoy yourself. Just 50yards from the beach it was easy to get back and forth with the family. Nearby market and restaurants were a plus. Sitting on the large porch overlooking the beach, and seeing the pelicans, and dolphins was everything we needed for our 30th year wedding anniversary. Deanna was easy to get a hold of and check in and check out couldn’t be easier. Would truly come back again ! Thanks

Great location and excellent weekend getaway for a mini vacation!

The overall process was very simply and app was very user-friendly! Excellent communication with the hostess. I would highly recommend some pest control though!

Fantastic location & great host

The location is amazing. The back door is literally steps from the beach and the view from the unit and long back deck is absolutely stunning. We’ve stayed in lots of beach front properties and this one has one of the best views and proximity to the beach/ocean. You can literally open your eyes from the master bed and look at at their ocean through wide glass windows that span the back of the property. The host is super responsive and provides lots of great feedback and recommendations. We didn’t want to leave.

Great beach location for relaxation

We had a great time staying at this beach front property! Beautiful sunrise views from the expansive deck and steps to gorgeous sandy beach! East walk to neighborhood restaurants and to sunset view at the pier. Lots of room within the condo for 5 of us to hang out during the thunderstorm that kept us indoors. Didn’t hear or see other tenants in downstairs or backyard units. Very quiet and could hear waves at night! Would definitely stay again!

First trip to the ocean

This property is literally on the beach and had a stunning view of the ocean. You can hear the waves as you lay in bed. Plenty of room for our family of four. We saw dolphins and whales the morning we checked out. Lots of fun restaurant options nearby (Long Doggers and Bizzarro Pizza were awesome). Check-in was exactly as described and the owners were great at communicating with us. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay along the ocean.

Great Stay and Day

We first stayed at this property back in April, 2021 and loved that it was secluded from all the tourist/busy stuff, but close enough where we could get to those places easily, including great restaurants. I don’t know if anything can beat waking up, making coffee while watching the waves through the wall of windows, and drinking it sitting on the beach at sunrise with almost no one in sight. The house has always been immaculate for both of our visits and Deana has been awesome to work with and very attentive/communicative about any questions related to the house. We will be visiting in the future as our own little escape someday.

Beautiful beachfront home

We absolutely loved our stay and were sad to leave on the last day. The property is nice and has beautiful, beautifullll views. Deana was very responsive and an extremely hospitable host. We can’t wait to stay again on our next trip to the area. Thank you so much for having us! :)

Peaceful Beach Getaway

Our family loved our time here! It was peaceful and private, and just steps away from the beach. We had full view of the beachfront from the breathtaking picture windows. The owner was kind, courteous, and helpful- we can’t wait to return!

Poorly maintained property

The only good thing about this property was the location. Great views and water access. Unfortunately, the house itself was dirty and poorly maintained. The furniture was subpar and looked as if it was bought from Goodwill. For this price, one would expect a four star property, but we got a dirty one star hostel.

Excellent Stay

The location was awesome and we miss this property already. This is a nice “cabin” there are two other rental properties on site but you wouldn’t know it because this property is front and center. Note to renter… clean up after yourselves!! Pots and pans we had to scrub hard to get clean. This is not the owners responsibility it’s yours!

Melbourne Beach Vacation

Awesome location. Right on the beach. Made great use of the deck. Melbourne Beach is a cool spot and it's easy walk to restaurants, bars and local grocery store. Very clean and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Great place on the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Nice, comfortable home, with a large balcony perfect for relaxing and watching the water. Steps from the beach, and also a short walk from plenty of shops and food. Will definitely consider coming back!

Disappointment

From the picture and description we thought this would be worth the high rental price. What we found was so disappointing. There were only 4 wash cloths for 5 people, there weren't enough bath towels unless you wanted to wash clothes every day. I called the owner and she dropped off some towels and wash clothes The furniture in the living room was a couch and chair so we couldn't all sit and have a conversation, it was also outdated. The kitchen offered a mismatch of dishes, silverware and utensils. Under sink had a container for an ongoing leak. The place itself was in need of alot of work. Some of the electrical we wonder if it would pass fire codes. I don't know what the regulations are in Florida or if a Vrbo rental has to be inspected but I think it would be a good idea. The bathrooms are very small and outdated. The deck has places where it dips and we almost had a fall with a family member. The steps leading up to the apartment also has some places where they lay crooked. The ad said there were beach chairs and an umbrella. The chairs wouldn't adjust and were really old, the umbrella was a joke. We actually went out and bought a couple of beach chairs and a umbrella. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were so flat we also had to go buy some so we could try to sleep. In the mornings when the sun was hitting the windows it was very warm and you had to run a ceiling fan in the dining room and also a sitting room off of the main bedroom. The air conditioner ran constantly and it was still 77, it would cool off later in the day after the sun wasn't hitting the large windows. An awning or something would have been nice so you could sit on the deck. There was no relief from the sun till it moved to the side of the house. There was a "shower" to wash the sand off of your feet, only problem with that is the nozzle was so high it got everything but your feet. We were only given one key and I requested another one. I got a bag full of keys from the owner and not one of the fit any lock in the house, we had to go have a key made ourselves. I tried to keep the floors clean from sand but the broom was so dirty it made it's own mess. For the price we paid of over $450 per night this place should have been so much nicer. We thought we had a separate unit by itself but there was another one right under us. I spoke to the couple and his mother who were staying in that unit and they also were upset at the conditions in their rental.

Awesome beach cottage

This was our first girl's trip in 2 years. It was a great little spot right on the water within walking distance to some quaint restaurants and spirits. Beautiful beach front view!

Perfect Beach Vacation

Great house and location!

The pictures for this property don’t quite do it justice. The house does have a full kitchen, three bedrooms (one queen bed and two rooms with two twins) and two full bathrooms. It also has a few beach chairs, boogie boards, a surfboard, and a charcoal grill outside. It is right on the beach, even if it might not be clear from the pictures. The back of the house is all windows...so you can see the ocean from the master bedroom and kitchen. You can also easily walk down to the beach to enjoy the ocean. This house is in an area without a lot of tourists, noise, and nonsense, making it a perfect, quiet, relaxing weekend getaway spot. Deana was responsive in answering any questions we had about the house and providing great recommendations for restaurants.

This property has it all you don't even need a car while staying on property all amenities your heart can imagine are within walking distance. We fell in love with Melbourne Beach much the same as you will upon discovering this fantastic beach community.

Fishing , Birding, Turtle nesting, Dolphins, Manatee, Whales can you believe it? well we have seen them all in a single year right from the deck out back. Great fishing right down the steps on the beach.
