La cocina bien surtida con barra de desayuno y área de comedor también se encuentra en el nivel superior, así como un dormitorio Queen con ducha grande y bañera, medio baño con ducha y un fantástico porche con mosquitero que es perfecto para el café de la mañana, el almuerzo de la tarde , cenas o cócteles por la noche!

Amazing Trip!

As first time visitors to OBX, we absolutely loved the house, location and surroundings! The house (so close to the beach), private access, pool and layout was wonderful and would come back again.

Great vacation home!

We were very happy with our stay at “Nu Joy Sea”! The pool and the short walk to the beach was a huge plus for us and our small children! We got up to see the sunrise every morning from the deck and used the beautiful kitchen to cook almost every night! We drove a short distance to see the horses on the beach which is a must! We do wish there was something to be done with all the bugs but besides that we would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay in the Outer Banks! The house was beautiful and clean! It was close to the beach and we were able to walk to the beer garden and ice cream! The beach was amazing and we enjoyed the pool as well! We also enjoyed having the chairs and umbrella delivered to the house. The house even had a bathroom and shower outside. We will be back next summer! Thanks for an amazing vacation! We did not want to leave!

'Nu JoySea' is a joy

Our first time in this area of OBX. Great location; appreciated the home, pool, hot tub, outdoor bathroom and outdoor shower. Wifi a bit uneven (but the listing did give a heads up about that). Two minor maintenance issues were immediately addressed by Shoreline property management. A king bed in one of the bedrooms would have been welcome. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Awesome Corolla Vacation!

We had a wonderful time! The house was spacious and well appointed. The kids LOVED the game room! The pool was big enough for everyone to do their own thing. The adults loved the hot tub. The wifi was spotty, which we think is just the nature of being on the island. It made movie night difficult. The walk to the beach isn’t far at all. The only other minor inconvenience was that the ice maker didn’t work. We had an amazing time! Thanks for a great vacation!

Great Family Time

We found the house clean and ready for our arrival. We especially liked the big open kitchen so all the family could gather for cooking and chatting. The pool and hot tub were great especially since the ocean had sea lice and stinging jellyfish because of the hurricane that passed through. It was a short walk to the beach making it easy to take our beach things. There was slight damage to the screened in porch from the hurricane. We called to just let them know and to our amazement it was fixed that same day. Thank you!

The house was such a great place for our family to gather especially in this COVID time. We found everything clean and ready for us. May I suggest that some extra bath towels be provided for a group. We did a laundry to keep up with it. Also there was 4 pillows on our bed but only 2 pillowcases for the bed. Kudos to the quick response on the minor hurricane damage to the screened in porch. Didn't expect the repair while we were there. Thank you!

A great family vacation house

Overall, we had a terrific stay for a week down here. The pool was supposed to be closed on 9/3 but we arrived on 9/16 & it was open! Had a blast! We were surprised by the newly added game room. They had basketball, connect 4 on the wall, a pac man machine, and foosball table. The only cons were that the upstairs shower didn’t get hot our entire stay, when it rained heavy the sliding doors in the living room leaked a little above the framing, one of the bathroom doors didn’t lock it was broken, the Roku TV remote in the kids room didn’t work we even changed the batteries still wouldn’t work, and that’s about it. We tried to communicate with the Shoreline property managers during the stay and didn’t hear back. The hot tub was awesome also! I would rent this place again! It’s very family accessible and only a block from the beach. They offered us two bicycles with the property for the week as well and that was fun. Not too far from the shops there’s a gas station a block up the road and about 10 minutes from food lion. The grill was a bonus too.

The endless summer

The house was called Nu-Joy-Sea when I rented it. The description and picture on VRBO was very different than the one above, which gives a more accurate picture of the location of the house. In my search on VRBO I specified ocean front. This house was advertised as ocean side, which I took to mean beside the ocean! Instead, ocean side means on the ocean side of highway 12. It is 4 to 5 rows back from the ocean and a five minute walk to the beach access point. Moreover, a picture of the beach access point conveys the impression that it is right outside the front door of the house, rather than some distance away. The beach access itself is very steep and a challenge for anyone with hip or knee issues. One member of our group could not negotiate it. The house is also not friendly for those with physical handicaps. The main living area is up two flights of stairs, some of which did not have a railing. The shower in the master bath also had no bars to hold onto. Otherwise the house is in pretty good shape. We were grateful for the air-conditioning in 90 degree weather. The management company, Shoreline OBX did an excellent job, but they had nothing to do with what I think was a misleading description of the house. This was the work of VRBO. I won't be taken in again.

Beautifully decorated, needs new mattresses

Time spent together with your family is time well spent. Nu Joy Sea is decorated beautifully. The pool and hot tub area was the favorite spot for the week. We noticed a few of the chairs to the table in that area are broken. The layout of the house worked well for our group. The beds throughout the house need replaced. We emailed maintenance our first night due to a broken box spring. They were very helpful and were quick to attempt to fix the boxspring then ended up bringing us a new one the next day. That helped but our backs hurt the whole trip. Our children's beds also had broken box springs. The owners should consider purchasing a griddle to keep in the house. The walk to the beach access was not bad. Like any public beach access, it was crowded. Unfortunately, the ocean water was 60 degrees! We took advantage of the credit for beach gear. That was a great service!

Disappointed that all bedrooms didn't have a tv. Had young / teen / and older adult that like to watch favorite programs especially since older adult could not climb the stairs definitely missed having an elevator ( which we were aware of when booked house). Dishwasher leaked but was promptly taken care of by your staff. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary appliances, except foods cooked in pots/ skillets stuck to bottom of pans and would scorch or burn if not watched constantly. I don't mean to sound picky,we knew this was going to be a difficult time to vacation but we enjoy coming down every year. House was clean and had fresh clean smell when we arrived.

This is such a nice property. Big pool, huge bedrooms, and a quiet neighborhood close to beach.

This is the best experience I’ve had with a realtor in OBX. We have had really good ones in the past (and a few awful ones) but this realtor was excellent about communication before, during, and after our vacation. I would definitely work with this realty company again in the future!

Great Vacation

This house was wonderful! It was clean and well equipped. Everyone had their own space. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The beach was a short walk down the road. The rental discounts were an added plus. The kids loved the bikes we got with them!

Amazing Family Vacation!

The house was perfect! So clean and perfectly placed by the beach, shopping and the horses! The pool and hot tub were an absolute bonus! We had 8 adults and one child. We will be back for sure, use your rental credits for bikes, they made the trip so special.

Great family vacation

The location was perfect. The house was just what we needed. Great size, layout, and amenities. Hot tub was broken but the peppery manager had it replaced during our stay with a brand new one. Great experience.
