Amazing location, property, and host!

Would totally recommend staying at this property or any properties that Pat has! She was so sweet and checked in on us to make sure everything was exactly what we needed. There are plenty of sleeping space options, its a short walk to the beach, and the outdoor balconies provided relaxing spaces as well! Completely recommend staying here!

Location, location, location!

Loved our time on the beach here! This house has an awesome view of the sunrise. We loved the open kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the filtered water was also great to have. It’s an EASY walk to the beach, with young kids it’s nice to be able to easily go back and forth if needed. The property also had a great outdoor living space. Relaxed comfort

Beautifully furnished with everything you could want. Spacious but cozy & comfortable. Great views of the gulf with easy access as well.

Mixed feelings

The stay was great and property was very nice. There were a few minor concerns, however it wasn't anything big. After checking out and heading home we received complaints about "mess" that was left, however we cleaned the house and only left trash in the trashcan. This property is lovely however the expectation to completely clean the house and pack before checkout time is a little problematic.

First Beach Trip

Absolutely loved this beautiful beach property! Gorgeously decorated and spacious. The host Pat is very nice and helped out with any issues that arose. Definitely recommend looking forward to returning soon!

Cousins retreat

The house was beautiful , more then we expected. The owner checked in with us to make sure we had everything and she is very nice to do business with. I recommend this house to other and it is kids friendly. A short walk to the beach and the view is beautiful.

Relaxing

We loved staying here it was very relaxing, very beautiful. The decor in the house is so perfect! Everything we needed was made available. It was nice to be able to wash clothes when needed. Highly recommend can't wait to come back again.

Amazing Vacation!

We stayed at Surfside Beach Retreat for Spring Break and I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was! From the beautiful property (which looks exactly as pictured) to the gorgeous view, it was amazing! My kids loved the bunk bed room and my hubby and I enjoyed our coffee overlooking the ocean. The smaller porch is perfect for soaking in the afternoon sun. The beach is literally steps away and we very much appreciated the chairs, toys and wagon in the storage area. Pat is an awesome host who goes above and beyond providing for her guests and we definitely plan to stay here again!!!!

Extremely Relaxing!

This listing is extremely accurate. It is just steps from the beach and the beach can be seen from both porches. I’m sure in the summer it can be busy, but even then it seems like it’d be less busy than other places bc of the small community it is in. All the little touches the owners have tried to include made things great. They have all the sand toys,blankets, and pillows you’d ever need. The kitchen is well stocked with many common items and my kids loved the smoothie machine and waffle maker. Cable channels are endless, and they have great games. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

The owner was so helpful and made us feel like family before we even arrived! The condo was nicely updated, super clean and the beach was only a few steps away. We really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect place to relax

Property manager was excellent with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Place is lovely with great views of the ocean from the deck. Excellent view of the sunrise. We will definitely be back!

Great Place!

View of water from porch, beach practically in backyard walking distance. Has every amenity possible. Just bring food and clothing. Space is well thought out. A lot of attention to detail. Very nice and communicative owners.

Mini vacation for our family

Wish we could get a second chance....

I am sure the property is wonderful , we didn't make it neither my husband or myself have never been to texas this was going to be our first, we were going to get married on the beach. On the way there our vehicle lost a tire going 75 m.p.h on I-35 in Ardmore, OK we were stuck there for 5 days it took 4 days to get a tow truck driver. I am positive we would have loved it there.

Great weekend getaway

Our whole family really enjoyed this property. It was a very short walk to the beach. The owner did a great job communicating with me and responded immediately when I had a question. Everything we needed was available at the property and each cabinet was labeled -- making it clear where everything was located. The beach was great and we took chairs and boogie boards that were available at the property. The kids and I had a wonderful weekend and will definitely return!

Very cute — bring the mosquito repellent!

By far the most communicative and helpful owners we’ve ever rented from!! The decor was very cute, coastal without being cheesy. Comfy towels! The bunk room was awesome — my kiddos felt like this was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in 😂 Don’t touch the red switch in the dining area — that’s for the water heater 😂. Someone had turned it off before we arrived, but Pat was super helpful in letting us know how to fix the problem. You can tell they’ve put a lot of time and money into renovations — but remember that salt air is corrosive. The doors are a little sticky and kids might need help keeping them all the way closed. The kitchen was VERY well stocked. All the gadgets and basic supplies you could ask for. Surfside is humid. Duh. So bring mosquito repellent. We forgot and paid dearly for it. They are EVERYWHERE and there is no keeping them out entirely 😂. There is a wagon to borrow if needed. Nice! Also some Adirondack chairs and boogie boards if desired. Not quite ON the beach, but a VERY short walk. The owners were so super accommodating. We don’t often return to the same spot much but if we do come back to Surfside, we will definitely want to stay here again. The ONLY drawback was the pull out sofa mattress. 19 yr old son opted to sleep in the kids bunk room the second night instead of it because it was not comfortable for adult sized people. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Absolutely wonderful beachfront property

We enjoyed an amazing stay and highly recommend this property. The owner was super responsive and communicative and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location, steps from the ramp to the beach, was perfect. So convenient! There were all sorts of conveniences, including multiple charging cables, great kitchenware, household supplies, and access to Netflix on all 3 of the huge TVs. The porch furniture was super cute and comfortable. The Primo water system was a lifesaver. We can’t wait to return and make more memories.

Great Stay!

The beach house was even more beautiful in person! It looks like something off of HGTV! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!
