Bienvenido a Seaside Inn: somos propietarios y operadores veteranos (USMC). Compramos esta hermosa propiedad en marzo de 2014 y esperamos ser el mejor pequeño resort en West Bay Beach.

Seaside Inn se encuentra en un camino de arena a 2 minutos a pie de la playa. ¡La ubicación es increíble! Estamos enclavados en la jungla lejos de todo el bullicio de la playa, pero lo suficientemente cerca como para disfrutar de los restaurantes, bares y actividades que West Bay tiene para ofrecer.

¡Tenemos una nueva y hermosa piscina privada! Nuestros huéspedes pueden descansar alrededor de nuestra piscina para pasar un día de vacaciones perezoso o disfrutar de un agradable cóctel nocturno después de un duro día de juego en la isla. Nuestra piscina no está abierta al público, es para uso privado de Seaside Inn :).

Se servirá un delicioso desayuno durante la temporada alta, del 15 de diciembre al 30 de abril. Tenemos una maravillosa opción gourmet especial diaria, junto con una segunda opción abundante de papas / huevos / jamón o tocino / tostadas o una opción más ligera: yogurt parfait con granola casera en capas con yogur de vainilla sin grasa, cubierto con fruta fresca. También hay otras dos opciones "Grab & Go", un sándwich de desayuno muy sabroso de huevo / jamón / queso o bagel y queso crema.

A diferencia de los mega resorts, somos un pequeño resort privado que brinda a nuestros huéspedes un refugio tranquilo y silencioso lejos de las multitudes. Atendemos a nuestros huéspedes y nos esforzamos por brindarles una maravillosa estadía en esta increíble isla.

Tenemos 4 unidades de alquiler disponibles en este momento. El Gecko es un bungalow independiente de 1 dormitorio con cocina completa, sala de estar, dormitorio y baño: el listado VRBO n.o 564852 y el Toucan and Macaw son suites tipo estudio, los listados VRBO n.o 564850/564851, cada uno con cocina y baño privado con azulejos. El Seahorse es una suite tipo estudio bellamente embaldosada con dos camas XL con doble capa de acolchado dispuestas como literas. Tiene una huella más pequeña que las otras suites, con una pequeña cocina y un baño de azulejos con ducha a ras de suelo - Listado VRBO # 762493. Todas las unidades tienen entradas privadas. Este listado es para la Suite Toucan. El Toucan es una suite estudio bellamente embaldosada; con una cama King con una capa de acolchado adicional, una pequeña cocina y un hermoso baño de azulejos con ducha a ras de suelo. La cocina tiene cafetera, microondas, tostadora, licuadora, fregadero y refrigerador. Se completa con vajilla y utensilios. Su suite estudio tiene un moderno y silencioso aire acondicionado y un ventilador de techo.

Un gran balcón cubierto de azulejos le da la bienvenida al salir de la suite Toucan. Este balcón para invitados ofrece asientos junto con hamacas y se abre a la piscina cristalina. Tienes una vista de la jungla donde podrás observar las iguanas, pájaros y otros animales salvajes.

Para que sepa qué empacar y qué comprar en el supermercado local, cada unidad de alquiler tiene:

• 2 toallas de playa

• teléfono celular local

• Caja de seguridad en hab

• secador de pelo

• Linterna

• reloj despertador

• licuadora, tostadora, microondas, cafetera

• suministros básicos: papel higiénico, filtros de café, toallas de papel, bolsas de basura, jabón para lavar platos, jabón de manos, sal y pimienta

• botella (s) de agua de 5 galones

• juego completo de platos y vasos, más vasos de plástico variados y copas de vino para usar en la piscina

• ollas y sartenes se proporcionan en el Gecko Bungalow para la estufa de 2 quemadores

Hay una lavadora y secadora para uso de los huéspedes (puede mantener su equipaje al mínimo :) convenientemente ubicado en el balcón de invitados junto con un pequeño congelador lleno de cubitos de hielo. Seaside Inn is truly a gem on West beach in Roatan. Carolyn and her staff work their magic to ensure your stay is memorable. The accommodations are great and their location close to the beach is a perfect mix of convenience and seclusion. The breakfast menu is varied and delicious. Coffee flows to more than satisfy your java cravings. This is definately a place to be seen and appreciated, we hope to return :-)

We had a wonderful time in West Bay, Roatan and I have to say that staying at the Seaside Inn B&B was the best choice of the trip. Carolyn has thought of everything you could possibly need and more. Our nicely decorated suite was spotless, updated and and outfitted with everything you need. We loved having a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (even though there is fresh coffee on the laini at 7 every morning) dishes, and the essentials like salt and pepper, towels and dish soap. There is also a common kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a nice dinner or lunch. An added plus is that there is a gas BBQ grill available. The bed was comfortable and she even had rugs on each side (something most places overlook). The internet in our room was great and it was nice having a television with stations in English and a large selections of dvd's to watch if you desire. The ac worked perfect as well as the ceiling fan. Another plus was the large walk-in closet with LOTS of hangers, a safe, and a broom in case you carry in sand after your room has been cleaned. You will find a freezer with ice and a washer and dryer in the laundry house. This is where you will find laundry soap, clean beach towels, books, dvd's and some lotions and shampoos for your use. Carolyn's helper Noel (sp?) did a wonderful job of cleaning our room daily and making sure we had water and clean towels-Carolyn provides beach towels and snorkeling equipment if you need it. The shared laini was beautiful and the perfect place to relax in a provided hammock or gather for cocktails and stories with the other guests. The pool was warm with nice lounge chairs and a seperate bathroom. The house is a short 5 min walk to the beach and all the restraunts. The snorkeling off the beach is fantastic and Carolyn will provide you with helpful information for all the other activities you may wish to do. We were here in March 2019 and are already planning our trip back in 2020. Carolyn, thank you for making our stay one of our best on Roatan. This was about our 9th trip to Roatan and your place was by far the best. I saved the best for last!!!! The breakfasts were better than any restaurant I have been to. Each day a delicious special is prepared or you can choose from a menu of 4 different yummy breakfasts.

Carolyn’s beautiful Seaside Inn

What can we say about Carolyn! All the rave reviews she has received just aren’t good enough! What a top rate person you are Carolyn. We felt so welcomed and excited that we found the best place ever. Your place is so clean and private. We ate in almost every night of our two week stay, cause, why go anywhere else when we had the great kitchen and patio to relax and relish our great time in Roatan. Of course we have to give a shout out to Noel for being such a delight to have around. Every little thing was taken care of , getting a great rate on a rental car that came right to the inn to get dropped off and picked up again, taxis that we needed, a great catamaran cruise that Carolyn suggested, West Bay Divers could not have been a better dive company too. Thanks Carolyn,Roy, and Noel for an awesome vacation! Helen and Leon

Absolutely Gorgeous!! Awesome vacation!

This is my fourth time to Roatan and my second time staying at Seaside Inn. I LOVE this place. My suite is immaculate - I love to enjoy the huge guest balcony (we even have a great place to hang out if it rains). The grounds are beautiful and it is peace and quiet. It's a short walk to the beach and our friends at Beacher's restaurant always have our lounge chairs waiting for us!! The pool here is also wonderful after a day in the salt water and sand, it is so refreshing to jump in the pool and have our evening cocktails - LOVE IT HERE!!!

Great Stay at Seaside Roatan

This is a real review. This was a fantastic place to stay on Roatan. Carolyn was a great host and the property was fantastic - clean comfortable and convenient to everything. We're divers and the pool was terrific after diving from West End Divers, right next door. The kitchenette and grill helped us save money, and Carolyn gave us pointers on everything. Carolyn's driver Corbin was an added bonus, taking us on an awesome tour around the island to places most tourists don't see (Machuka in Punta Gorda!!!) Wonderful week at Seaside Inn

My sister and I spent the week at Seaside Inn. Carolyn is a wonderful host and we really enjoyed visiting with her. She makes the best breakfasts for her guests. You could not find a better place to stay in West Bay.

The absolute best

My husband and I stayed in the Toucan at this amazing Seaside Inn for two weeks in February and wished we were still there. If you want a clean, quite, friendly place with the best hospitality ever then this is the place for you. Carolyn the owner is truly an amazing and caring person. Coffee is promtly served every morning and her breakfast are plentiful. I was a little nervous about who we would have to share the space with but was very pleased to see that most everybody that stay's at the Seaside are mature couples. We meat some wonderful people that we plan on staying in touch with. The place is just far enough from all the noise but close enough to the beach. The location is perfect. The island of Roatan does have some power outage but rest asure that at the Seaside Inn you will always have power as there is a backup that comes on immediately so no need to worry. If watching TV is important to you you will be pleased with all the chanel choices. Both my husband and I would stay there again and honestly had no issues whatsoever. The only problem was having to leave Carolyn and our friends. The bonus for me was that I made a friend with another vegan and we both live in the same province.

Very enjoyable, and value

My stay at the seaside inn was from jan 30 to feb 6, 2017. The host, carolyn was amazing. Very accomodating. My room was clean and comfortable. This is a b&b and the breakfasts were spectaular. Each morning guests chose their breakfast choices from a menu and request a service time for the next day. The breakfasts are served outdoors on the very large covered balcony. These meals were amazing. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The pool was clean and well maintained. This b&b is a short walk from the beach. There are great restaurants and bars on the beach. BEACHER's was my favourite. Great cocoanut shrimp. The size of small lobster tails. And a great dance party on saturday night with a local band. Bugs and mosquitos were a non issue. Drinking water is provided and the shower and sink water is from a cistern which everyone uses. This is slightly chlorinated for safety and is fine for teeth cleaning, etc. You are advised not to drink it and i didn't but had no problems at all. Everything is safe. Quiet & comfortable. An ideal location close to the beach.

Carolyn met my husband & I on arrival & made us feel right at home. She was a gracious host, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. Having coffee on the lovely covered porch & watching the macaws & hummingbirds was a delight. Our room was comfortable with a quaint kitchenette, just perfect for our needs. Fantastic stay at the Seaside Inn

We had a fantastic stay at the Seaside Inn (Toucan Suite) at the end of March this year. The accommodations were everything we expected, and more! From the seating area with comfortable furniture and lovely hammocks to the private pool, it was perfect. It is a very well-kept and beautiful building with lush greenery. The location was perfect too, a very short walk down to the beach, shops, restaurants, yet away from all that when we just wanted to go back and relax or chill in the pool. The included breakfast each morning was delicious. Carolyn is a great cook, and Roy served it up right on time with a big smile (great guy!). They were both so helpful in suggesting places to go and things to do. During our stay we had an opportunity to check out some of the other places we had considered staying. it was easy to see that Seaside Inn was the perfect choice for us! We would recommend staying here in a heartbeat!

A Piece of Paradise

This is a beautiful and comfortable B&B with attentive and friendly staff. The porch and the pool were both relaxing places to escape to when we needed to retreat from the heat of the beach. Carolyn's breakfasts are outstanding and served on that beautiful porch. Mornings were special dining in the gentle Caribbean breezes with other lovely guests. Evening dining options abound along West Bay beach which is a lovely stroll after a day in the warm sun. If you like to dive or snorkel, West Bay Divers is a great shop on the way to the beach. We can't wait to return and enjoy another great vacation!

Ideal West Bay Getaway!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in the Macaw Suite, and it was perfect! The room was perfectly appointed, and our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Carolyn arranged for her driver, George, to pick us up at the airport and to take us to buy groceries. He also showed us around and helped us find other activities that we would enjoy doing. We loved that the setting is very private and off the beaten path while still being close to the beach an restaurants. Carolyn is a wonderful host, and made us feel right at home and well cared for. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Roatan, without a doubt, this is where we will stay!

Great Place to Stay

We stayed for two weeks in April and had a wonderful time. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The location is a short walk to the beach. We loved the covered patio are that was lovely for both breakfast and the evening. I would highly recommend this B&B. Caroline goes out of her way to make sure your stay is great.

Really convenient and comfortable

Stayed a week in the Toucan Suite. The inn is really well planned for a beach vacation. Carolyn, the owner, has thought of pretty much everything. She provides a local cell phone with important numbers on it... she includes beach towels and basic cooking gear so you can sort coffee or breakfast on your own... there is cable TV and a DVD player and she even has a pretty good library of DVDs to borrow... There is ice, a fridge, a grill for cooking out on the deck...all very well planned. She has also arranged some great deals with Beachers (the local restaurant on the beach - free beach chair/umbrella), discounts at West Bay Dive Shop (a great bunch of people), etc. I had a wonderful time! Carolyn is a gracious hostess and a wonderful person to boot - i feel blessed to have made a new friend!

Had a great time!

We stayed in the Toucan Suite from May 2nd to 12th and enjoyed it very much. We had everything we needed and safety was never a concern. The Seaside Inn is lovely and well maintained - we especially loved the huge deck surrounded by trees, the beautiful pool, and the blender with enough oomph to whip up the occasional daiquiri. Carolyn is a gracious hostess who provided us with tips on what to do in Roatan, arranged a car rental, and a snorkeling and mangrove tour. We appreciated having access to the lounges at Beachers where we enjoyed many meals and many more Monkey La La’s. Staying here enabled us to get preferred rates at West Bay Divers who we found to be excellent. If you are looking for a cost effective, secluded location just off West Bay Beach I would not hesitate to recommend.

Perfect

Perfect. My husband and I traveled to Roatan for our honeymoon and we had the most relaxing trip of our lives. Carolyn was fantastic. She arranged for her approved taxi driver to pick us up from the airport and bring us grocery shopping. Carolyn also greeted us as soon as we arrived and answered any, and all of our questions. It was also great that we had two fantastic neighbors in the bungalow to share breakfast with (Tom and Brenda! We hope to see you on our next visit!) Speaking of breakfast... Wow. I repeatedly asked Carolyn if I could take her home with me. Her breakfasts were the best I've had in my whole life. Every morning was such a treat! We had everything we could have ever thought we might need provided for us! Water, ice, fresh towels, fresh sheets, blender, toaster, fridge, a giant DVD rental collection to use at night, washer and dryer (which was so nice to bring home clean clothes!), private pool for b&b guests only! Which you would say with the beach SO close why would you need it? Well it was the best thing first thing in the morning and before bed. Hammocks to read in over looking the pool were fantastic for the mornings as well! The room was immaculate and so was the entire property. My husband and I were able to snorkel right off the beach over the reef. He was also able to scuba dive with West Bay Divers. He had an amazing time with Kernan and Zach. Perfect location, barely a walk to the beach and when you got the the sand; the restaurant Beachers made sure that Carolyn's guests were taken care of with beach chairs and umbrellas! My husband and I used to talk about traveling the world. Well that's over. Now we only talk about our return to Carolyn's and Roatan! When you've found paradise stick to it! Thank you Carolyn for such a lovely stay. We can't wait to come back!

My Wife and I stayed in the Toucan suite Mar17- Apr6, 2015 and enjoyed every day we were there. The Inn and owner Carolyn Belfor were wonderful. As advertised the Inn is a two min. Walk to probablythe best beaching the Island giving access to world class snorkeling, restaurants that offer great food and unmatchable sunsets or, if just going for a stroll, the star fishing lounging in the sea grass are waiting to greet you. The Seaside Inn was and is all it's advertised to be. We enjoyed our breakfasts every morning on a huge deck with views overlooking jungle and a great pool that we used often later in the day or for just a quick evening splash. But the best touch of a all was the fish truck that delivered fresh caught lobster, shrimp, or red snapper that we grilled on the deck on the occassional evening. Carolyn, the owner was a wonderful host with a wealth of information about Roatan that she was happy to share with us. The services she recommended were second to none! When renting a car it was delivered to our door at 08:00, water and wheeled taxis recommended were always waiting for us with clean and safe boats or cars and knowledgable drivers. I did a lot of " shopping" prior to booking the suite at the Seaside Inn and I have to say I really did get lucky. Our accommodations were great, our hostess was wonderful and the price that included the 19 percent tax was a lot less than Carolyn could have charged. I had read a review that mentioned the "hill" to climb when walking from the beach. My Wife and I are both 60 years old and from the prairies. We are not exactly used to steep climbs so I was a bit concerned over the hill comment. Well the "hill" is nothing more than a slight uphill grade that posed no problem at all and gave us a chuckle.

Lovely property, great owner!

We stayed in the macaw suite for 7 nights, and had a great time in Roatan. The property is on the far west end of west bay, which seemed to be less busy that the middle or eastern side, but it's quite a walk to the far west end where the best shore snorkeling is. If you are planning to dive, it's very close to west bay divers (who are fantastic!). The included breakfast was a nice touch, including yogurt, granola, toast, bagels, cereal, local coffee, fresh squeezed juice, and delicious fresh fruit, even some bananas that came from a tree on the property! The pool is great and we loved the hammocks on the patio. The only downside to the hotel, is the distance from the beach. It's not that far, but it's up a bit of a hill, and after long day in the heat, it was no fun to trudge back up to the room. There is also a very smelly dumpster you have to pass every time you walk down. And at night, don't forget your flashlight, because it's not lit, but if you stop on the cement bridge and look up, the lack of light gives you a breathtaking view of the night sky. The distance from the beach also makes it really quiet and peaceful. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it to others.
