The cabin is in a good location. Close to Pigeon Forge and not too high up, so access was fairly easy. We had a large group and parking was a bit of an issue. Luckily we were able to park some cars at the bottom of the hill. There were several small issues that we were able to overlook, but a couple of large issues that were unacceptable. The coffee maker did not have a pot,the dishwaser flooded the kitchen, the bunk beds are very flimsy and I would not reccomend placing adults on the top bunk, the video games in the game room do not work. The biggest problems with the cabin and the reason for the poor review is due to how cold the main floor and lower floor were. We thought it was due to how cold it was outside, but then we found out it was because the house is infested with raccoons in the heating ducts. As we were sitting at the dining table, one decided he wanted to join us for dinner and attempted to come into the kitchen. We noticed that there were decorative tree stumps covering many of the heat vents and now we know why. There were also muddy racoon foot prints in one of the bedrooms and bathroom. Again, the heat vent in those rooms were covered with decorative stumps. The host has to know about this issue or they would not have covered all the vents. This placed our entire group at risk of possibly being bitten, not to mention the health risk of having raccoon waste in the vents blowing into the house. The host acted like they were unaware but its clear that they knew
