Ubicado a solo unos pasos del nuevo sendero para caminar / andar en bicicleta, los vacacionistas disfrutarán de paseos fáciles a la playa, así como el acceso en minutos a centros comerciales, restaurantes y todas las comodidades disponibles en la comunidad de Ocean Sands. Family Fun viene equipado con todas las comodidades modernas del hogar, incluidos 7 televisores de pantalla plana, 6 reproductores de Blu-Ray, acceso a Netflix, cable, wi-fi y 2 bañeras de hidromasaje. Hay dos habitaciones, que incluyen una con una cama Queen, TV de pantalla plana y Blu-Ray, y una con 2 juegos de literas, así como un cómodo baño a solo unos pasos de la entrada a la piscina.

Segundo piso: espacioso con todas las comodidades del hogar
Retírese al segundo nivel después de un largo día explorando la orilla del mar y disfrute de dulces sueños en una de las tres habitaciones que se encuentran en este nivel decorado con buen gusto. Hay una suite principal con una cama Queen, TV de pantalla plana y Blu-Ray, una habitación con cama Queen y TV de pantalla plana y una habitación con literas (Twin sobre Doble, más Trundle Twin). Tercer piso: brilla con espacio y comodidades
Para un final verdaderamente delicioso del día, salga y disfrute de los rayos en la acogedora terraza del tercer piso y disfrute de la brisa marina. Had a great stay and the house fit our larger group. Lots to do for the kids with the pool, hot tub and bikes. The location is a short walk to the beach too which was great on the couple nice days of the trip.

Family friendly, has everything you would need for a vacation! Fully stocked kitchen, some kid toys, lots of games, tons of beach toys, chairs etc! Highly recommend this house for a vacation! Our house host was amazing! Kept updates from the initial booking to the time we left. Anytime we had questions he would respond within 15 minutes!

Property is as listed. Clean and comfortable. Best communication of any renter I have ever Twelve adults ranging from 23-82. Had plenty of room. The pool and hot tub were well used and enjoyed. I would rent it again.

Mother's Day Trip

My Mom wanted to do a family beach trip this year. I found the location and the entire trip, people talked about how great of a spot I had chosen. There was plenty of space for everybody to all hang out together, as well as be more secluded at times. There was a total of total of 10 people in the group, ages 3 to 80. We all had a great time and the entire process from booking to checking out was seamless.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay at the Family Fun House. Location was great. It was close to everything. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything you would need. There was plenty of room and there was 17 of us. We are looking into staying here again next yr. Thank you Nathanael for making our family vacation a breeze and lots of fun.

Beautiful Home

My family and I stayed here for Spring break. I have to say, it was perfect for us! Some of the highlights of the house.... Pool, hot tub, Pool table, Grill, mini golf in the yard, pirate ship playground, Games were provided, Bicycles were provided, very spacious house, and wonderful kitchen. My family and I had movie nights, game nights, meals cooked at home, and they loved riding bikes to the beach! The owner was very nice and had everything you would need at the home!

Our experience for what it is worth.

It appears that VRBO now limits the characters for a review so I will have to give a condensed version of events. Negatives: Arrived to no starter paper products including toilet paper. Pool was dirty with water below working levels, non operational. Drug paraphanilia found in a bedroom drawer. I reached out and messaged the owner within the first half hour of arrival to advise of these issues. Contact was returned via message a few hours later, and he did arrange for the missing paper products to be dropped off the next morning along with donuts as an apology and offered for the cleaning crew to return, however by the time that the response was received our family had unpacked and did not want to deal with strangers entering the location. Was also advised that the pool had been closed on Oct 4, nine days before our stay, but yet it had not been covered which led to disappointed kids upon arrival. There were other issues as well, but due to VRBO limiting characters I can’t give the full scope of the story. So to sum up, I did not have the stay I was hoping for due to issues at this house. Maybe it’s a matter of the owner not knowing what the property manager is doing or not doing but if a friend asked I wouldn't recommend it. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved and the next guests will have a better experience.

Lovely family trip

Our family loved this house! Was in a great location - a bit far of a walk from the beach, but we knew this from the listing. The house had everything we needed, especially to keep the kids occupied. Nathanael was great at communication and gave us plenty of information for our trip. Highly recommend for a family trip!

Great Memories

The house was exactly as advertised. Walked in to a spacious and very clean house. Used the pool, putting green, and playground. Kids loved the video game too. Having the bikes and beach toys was so helpful. Walk to the beach was easy. Appreciated the quick responses on all communication with the property manager. Highly recommend the house.

Great OBX house for large family

This was a nice house with lots of space for a large family. We used the pool and hot tub a lot, and the kids also enjoyed the putting green. The walk to the beach was difficult for two of our older family members, but there a few parking lots with beach access within a 5-10 minute drive. Overall, we had a nice stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for all ages

Our vacation was short but lovely. Our first full day it rained….down poured. But all of our kids, from the small to the tall, found something and someone to play indoors. Our next day was sunny, so we were outside most of the day. The house was well equipped with outside things as well. It was an amazing house for a great spring break trip.

Perfect for a family or group of families

We had a great time. There were so many additional items for the kids to use including beach and pool toys! Plenty of sleeping arrangements and a short walk to the beach! We will definitely come back to this place !

What fun!

Our family had the best vacation at this house. We had plenty of space for all 15 of us ranging in age from 3 to 69. Meals were so simple to prepare as this kitchen really was fully stocked. Every utensil we needed, dish, pan and glassware as well. Truly impressive! The pool and hot tub were used everyday. Kids especially enjoyed the pool. We brought a bottle bash game and everyone enjoyed watching/ playing in the yard on the side of the house. The youngest grandchildren had fun with the play area . There were so many pool toys, beach chairs and even a cabana we put up on the beach. We enjoyed sitting out on one of the decks to watch the meteor showers one night. This was truly a family fun house for our family and we hope to return one day.

Great Beach House!!!

Travelled with 3 families and everyone enjoyed the house. Pool was very large compared to other homes we stayed at and kids loved it. Kitchen was well stocked. Bikes made it easy to get to the beach. If you have small kids or a lot of stuff to take down just drive down drop everything off and ride a bike back. We did that when the little ones went and it worked out well.

Great vacation home for families with small kids!

This is was our second year staying at the Family Fun house. The house is a short distance to the beach. We have 5 young kids so we would have one person drop us off at the beach so the little ones wouldn’t get tired but for adults it’s only a 10 minute walk. The house has a great pool and the kids had so much fun! The owner is very quick to respond and sends reminders for trash day, etc. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back again!

Great Location and Family Friendly

Family friendly. Close to the beach (there is an entrance to the beach that is a walkable distance from the house and is just for the community the house is in) and other attractions. Close to dining, shopping, and two grocery stores. Plenty of space for a big family. Closets and cabinets full of books, DVDs, and board games. Plenty of cookware and utensils. Your kids will love the three hole minigolf putting green and the pirate ship themed playset that is on the property.

Family Fun House says it all !

The location is good, the house was clean and is very spacious. Our grandchildren were very happy with all the fun activities and we were impressed with the thoughtful touches, local eatery menus, charging stations, high chair, hair dryer, foot lights (very helpful in a new place at night) and everything we needed in the kitchen.

Great Kid-friendly Beach House

This beach house is a great option for families with kids, especially younger ones. Our kids really enjoyed the toys, games, Ninja Turtles arcade game, and pirate ship playground. They also liked soaking in the hot tub, riding the bikes, and playing with the pool and beach toys. I liked that the house was furnished and decorated in a kid-friendly way so that I didn’t need to constantly worry about our two-year old accidentally breaking something. It was nice to have a high chair and pack n play there so I didn’t need to bring those with us. I also really appreciated that the pool and hot tub were completely fenced in, with a gate that is not easily opened by children (my tall 8-year old could open it, but not the younger kids). Our group had four adults and four children (our family plus grandparents); we didn’t use the basement at all, but there would be room for another family with kids to sleep there. We could squeeze in more people than that as far as beds are concerned, but it might be a little crowded in the living areas. As it was, the house was set up well to allow us to spread out at times and be all together comfortably too. The house is in a nice location - quiet neighborhood, quick access to grocery stores and some shopping, close to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and other attractions in that area, and a short walk or bike ride to the beach. There were enough bikes for most of our group to ride, plus a wagon for hauling chairs and kids which came in handy. One thing to be aware of is that you aren’t allowed to drive and park closer to the beach in the neighborhood itself - have to go to a public beach access spot for that. So you do have to walk/ride a bit, but the beach is probably less crowded since only folks in the neighborhood are going to that section. We prepared most of our meals at the house - the kitchen was well stocked and the dining areas provided plenty of seating and space. Nathaniel (the owner) was responsive and helpful during our stay, and the check-in/check-out process was easy and simple. If you’re looking for a place that is luxurious, this may not be the best fit for you. But I would definitely recommend this place to others, especially to families with kids along.

When we walked in the door it felt like we were at a resort. It has all the amenities you could ask for in a beach home: Huge private pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, Putt-putt golf green, Billiards table, 4 player Ninja Turtles Arcade Machine, 2 Living Rooms, Open concept Kitchen, two fire places and a short walk to the Beach.
