Rick and I built this property in the year 2000 to be able to raise our kids in a safe and fun environment while they were going to school. In 2008 we built another home in Carrillo not far from Villa Oasis and decided to turn Villa Oasis into a full time rental. We named it Oasis as a great representation of how peaceful the property is.
We do sports, mainly mountain biking, Rick surfs and mountain bikes, we love hiking, traveling and I play my guitar in my daily life.
I have been in the rental business since I was in my early twenties and I have a passion for hospitality. I truly enjoy knowing that you are having a memorable vacation.
I am a Costa Rican, I was born in San Jose in 1974. My mom traveled there from the Samara area so I could be born in a hospital, we were raised here in Samara, my mother and father bought another land in Samara in the early 90's and I also manage their rentals homes.
In the year 2022 Rick and I built another apartment in Carrillo for couples. I enjoy giving this hospitality service to our clientele from ALL over the world.
In this rental we get a lot of multiple families with kids. It is delightful for me to know that they are having a great time.
We also get groups with just couples (ALL adults) looking for beach and swimming pool relaxation.
We have made so many friends along the years that we have been hosting. We truly love our country and we like to provide our guests with that essence of the Pura Vida life style

Carrillo is a small community with great restaurants and a couple of stores and it is less than 10 minutes by car from Samara Beach. This beach was awarded the 5 star ecological blue flag, only a total of 5 beaches qualified in the whole country for the top rating with 5 stars they went though a program of qualifying great ocean water and potable water plus cleanliness of the town and efficient recycling programs in the community.
The beach is ideal for swimming and absolutely beautiful surrounded with palm trees and lots of shade throughout the whole day.
Most of the homes around Villa Oasis are residential.
From our location you can walk to 4 amazing restaurants within 2 to 4 blocks away.
There are also a couple of tour companies in town to help you arrange your activities. Water activities are the highlights of our town. Anything from hanging at the beach, swimming, going for a dolphin and whale tour, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling or taking an adventure to the jungle by ATV to swim in a waterfall.
Everyone is friendly in our community and happy to provide great service for people visiting the area. Samara offers lots of restaurants in front of the water and lots of souvenir shops.
Carrillo also offers a Gym with instructor, a horse back riding tour guide and two grocery stores where you can find absolutely everything you may need on vacation.
Playas del Sur and Roble that also belong to our town offer a paradisiac experience with a small waterfall flowing right into the sand and tide pools.

One of the highlights of Carrillo is walking the beach which is 2 kilometers long or 4 kilometers round trip. The walk is easy and you will see lots of species of birds and so much beauty. A lot of people like to do this early in the mornings to see the sunrises or some may prefer to go at sunset time. If you feel adventurous you can walk all around the Punta Indio rock at the North side of the beach.

Our rental property is VERY peaceful and walking distance to restaurants and stores and centrally located but still away from all the noises of a bigger town like Samara.
You will find nature, lots of beauty and relaxation here. If you feel like being adventures you will find a lot of activities to do or just sit back and enjoy some quiet time admiring the nature around our property.
The beach is located just 4 blocks away.
