Exceeds expectations

The property pictures certainly do not do the place Justice. The home is large, comfortable and clean. In short, it has the warmth of a cabin and the features of a spa.

Oddly perfect

When we read the Vrbo listing and reviews it wasn’t obvious what we would find in this rental. It’s true that the pictures do not so it justice and that it is really spacious, fairly well appointed and incredibly conveniently located to restaurants and skiing. It is also attached to a small building that houses a carvel, a subway, an arcade and a movie theater. While that may seem odd (because it is, and it’s also hard to picture in your mind), it just works. It’s a property you have to see to appreciate and one we would definitely choose again. Our family travels for fun and this house is in the center of fun.

Excellent house

Second time staying here! It’s perfect for a family ski getaway! Has everything you could want and it’s very spacious and comfortable and only a 5 Minute drive to Windham ski mountain.

Awesome Ski Weekend & Great Location

The rental was fantastic and had so much space - it was exactly as advertised. The jacuzzi was easy to use and navigate and teh property has an arcade right nearby. It was also a 2 minute from the mountain base so easy to ski in and out. It was also easy to talk to the gas station to grab food and drinks as well as restaurants nearby. The space was incredibly clean and the host was incredibly welcoming and accessible for check in and departure - he even mailed us back a lost item we left behind. Could make this spot our annual trek.

Awesome stay

The pictures didn’t do the house justice. We could’ve fit another family (or two) and it was attached to fun things like a little movie theater and game room! Super close to mountain base, and the owner was so helpful with any questions (like how to use hot tub). We had one minor issue and he fixed it immediately - we were so grateful and had an amazing stay. Did not want to leave!

Phenomenal place

Amazing stay with an amazing host. Would 100% recommend this house - it's attached to a movie theatre as well and a mini golf. There's so much to do and the town is very lovely!

Five stars all around

Pat’s property is awesome. Our group had a fabulous time and there was plenty of space for the 8 of us. As others say, the photos don’t do it justice. The amenities like surround sound throughout the house (including inside the sauna) are great. I’d definitely recommend staying there - the house is right in town, with plenty of walkable options.

Beautiful home- Great Location!

We stayed in March 2021 for a quick Ski getaway. The home was spacious and well appointed. Reviews are correct- it is bigger and better than it looks in the photos! Would stay again in a heartbeat! Only 5 minutes from Windham ski mountain and walking distance to everything in town! The kids enjoyed the mini golf right outside the front door as well as Carvel’s.

Great Weekend Getaway!

The house was so clean, had a ton of space, and in a perfect location - close to town and the mountain. Pat was a great host and we had the best weekend in Windham.

Great place for a ski vacation!

My family and friends stayed between Christmas and New Years for a family ski vacation and the place was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids! Everyone was highly impressed with the space, location next to the river and amenities (Hot Tub, Sauna, and mini golf). We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy socially in the open concept kitchen and living room. The photos do not give the place justice. We skied Hunter mountain which is a short 15 minute drive from the house and also went to adventure park at Windham ski mountain which is around the corner and a couple minutes by car. Patrick was very responsive for any questions or help we needed and was a great host. Excellent rental and hope to be back soon.

This house is a gem!

Pictures don’t do this house justice, it’s big and open, beautiful (the kitchen is amazing) and an ideal location! Convenient to both Windham and Hunter mountains as well as great restaurants. (Windham Local is right across the street and the food is fantastic!) We couldn’t be any happier with this house and will definitely book it again next time we travel to the area!

Fun Staying In

It was a short weekend trip over a holiday weekend. The weather was a little cold, and we didn't get to play on the mini golf but it steps away from the from door! After staying at the house, I thought it was a great place to stay for a skiing trip! Theres a sauna and hot tub, and lots wood detail- give it a cozy cabin feel, even though the space is massive. Honestly, the pictures don’t show how much space! The sound system goes throughout the entire house, which was really fun for everyone in different parts! The kitchen is great for a couple people cooking at once, or if you wanted to have a big family or group come. I would definitely love to come back!

The house is amazing! Bigger in person. Kitchen and bedroom were perfectly furnished with everything we needed. Enjoyed the ice cream store and game room next door. Big living room with enough space to accommodate everyone. Pat, the owner, was great and responsive to any questions we had (very quick replies). Highly recommended property given the location.

Beautiful setting

We (my wife and I with our toddler daughter) just returned from a 5 night stay of this property. The pictures do not do justice to either the house or the actual "backyard." The house is much larger in person and beautifully finished with everything and more that we needed. The gently sloping grass down to the beautiful stream provided much entertainment for our daughter to run around. Given that the property is in town, the grounds are so enticing that the stream does attract some who thing it is a park (along with those playing miniature golf). To top it off, Pat was extremely responsive at all times.

Outstanding stay in the mountains.

We had a wonderful multi-family get away. This house was fantastic. Just a few minutes’ drive to ski, walk to town plus a hot tub and sauna. Can’t wait to come back.
