Dislikes: 1) the bed is extremely uncomfortable. A gel mattress pad would work wonders. 2) couch is impossible to sit comfortably and wicker chairs are not better. 3) please repair the windows so they open and close easily. Likes: 1) great location. 2) kitchen is set up well and of great benefit. 3) the extra bathroom is nice 4) covered and secured parking. PS. The laundry detergent smells bad..

Great place!

Perfect place for our family to stay while in town for a wedding. Our oldest loved riding the gondola to town and our youngest loved the balcony. Great location, well stocked kitchen, and easy check-in/check-out.

Excellent Ski Condo

This condo is clean, comfortable, attractively decorated and very well equipped. It is a short walk from the lifts and gondolas. Local management (the people actually in the building) are friendly and responsive. Altogether a very desirable place.

Ski on/off short walk to chair 4 and restaurants in mountain village. Easy access to gondola. Clean but can be noisy at night from people out late.

We loved being so near the gondola (to telluride or to the market )and the shops at Mountain Village. The Home was a very nice 1 bedroom. The patio was nice to sit and see the foliage. Very comfortable bed. Great to have WiFi & cable for down times. Would recommend a kuerig coffee maker. The front doors are never locked (tip from gallery lady) but were very hard to open. Parking was excellent. We loved walking everywhere .

Great location and apt for family of four ski vacation

Location cannot be beat, in the very center of Mt. Village. The condominium was well-organized with ski room and garage. The apartment was extremely clean, very nice bathroom and kitchen, excellent wifi. The main bed was comfortable but the sofa bed less so (may not be best sleeping arrangement for older kids/adults, ours were 11 & 13). The management team is very responsive -- the sink clogged when we were there and they came right over to fix. All in all we would return.

The feeling of being completely unwelcome greats you as you approach the condominium door and it has signs all over it. The inability to wear shoes was not disclosed in the first description. Shoes are not allowed for anyone entering, and you are not allowed to roll your luggage anywhere inside.The master bedroom windows are both inoperable. It is obvious someone has been working them through the screens as one screen is punched through and broken and the other is dented.The hallway in summer, where you are supposed to remove and put on your shoes on a bench outside the condominium, is stuffy and was over 100 degrees everyday of my 7-day vacation. There is a vent blowing scorching air in the hallway.The outdoor concerts on Wednesday make the condominium shake and vibrate since the concert is outside the bedroom wall. It is impossible to escape the loud music in the condominium during these concerts. This noise was not disclosed.The summer heat bakes this condominium as the bedroom walls are in direct sunlight all day. There are two floor fans, and no ceiling fans. The fans are inadequate to keep the temperature below 80’s and 90’s inside the condominium on sunny days.Very sparse amenities. Fewer than any VRBO I have personally stayed in. This rental was handed off from VRBO to Vacasa in the middle of the agreements. My first Vacasa. Vacasa requires a photo, front and back, of an ID or Driver’s license. For some reason Vacasa rejected my military identification
Just not a “warm welcome”. Hope your luggage isn’t heavy.

There were no specific instructions about the name of the property and it was difficult to find

Everything about this property was difficult. No name of the building to find, no address facing the street, no way of knowing it was actually in the Fairmont Hotel garage (no mention of this). Then there were 3 door codes to remember, one for the garage, one for the elevator and one for the door (which was not received in a timely manner when we had internet as we were travelling.) The TV was impossible to use, the back door, impossible to open. The oven temp unreadable. Everything seemed extremely complex for a vacation property. We are hosts too and we leave detailed instructions for everything in our unit. Not so here.

Great but room for improvement

This is our second stay here and overall it’s a great place but definitely needs a few tweaks. The pullout sofa is an air mattress and our tiny daughter would sink over night as it deflated. A regular mattress is a change that would get a 5 star rating. The windows were open when we arrived with single digit temps, not sure why. Amazing shower and a nice kitchen are two reasons we rebooked this place. The master bedroom could use a new mattress as well so you don’t roll into the middle but it’s manageable. Both humidifiers were broken and the tv was not functional but were quickly rectified, great service on those issues. Since we stayed here previously we brought tarps/heavy fabric to cover the entrance so you can move around more easily by the door and the white carpet, I highly recommend anyone staying here do so, much easier to function. We also placed one under the dining table that sits on white carpet as I was scared our daughter might spill food on it, peace of mind!

We arrived &/were greeted by a checklist completed by Suzette stating the unit was prepared and ready for us to arrive. What we found instead were…2 broken windows that were open & we were unable to close with over night temps below 5 Fahrenheit, antiquated electronics (20 years old), display on the oven did not work, stains all over the carpet, broken bath light fixtures in both bathrooms (missing bulbs and shades), a missing drain/stopper in half bath, a full but clean dishwasher, burned out light bulbs, odd stains on the wall in bedroom, trash from Christmas underneath the bed, a broken, small, inexpensive dresser, dirty blankets that smelled of feet in the closet, & a lack of coat hangers. We made multiple emails, online chats, & text messages.   On Friday the local representative came and was shocked and surprised at the condition of the condo. We then find out this was the same person who had signed the checklist prior to our arrival. The representative reviewed our concerns with us and placed an order with maintenance.  Over all the only thing “repaired” were the windows were closed and they unable to be opened at all. In addition to all the other problems that we faced, the Internet & television reception were spotty at best, and most of the time we were forced to use the iPad that we brought with us. We would stress this unit is below average in quality & not the standard expected for the area.  Without the upgrades and repairs, don’t book. 0 out of 10

Disappointing

Pros: - Great location- Nice condo layout condo; spacious- The fireplace was beautiful and warm- Lots of dishes, pots, pans, etc- Priced well for the time of our stayCons:- Cheap appliances; tired decor. It was not up to other VRBO quality in the market.- The listing is incorrect. They advertised a private club with ski lockers and coffee. The club does not exist. We were offered coffee at the office on the 1st floor, but declined.- The ski locker that is available does not lock. We still used it (skis/boots are forbidden in the condo); thankfully, our stuff was not stolen. - The TV situation was terrible! We didn't go to Telluride to watch TV, but with very cold temps on some days, we stayed home but could not watch the TV. It is wired through a receiver a'la 1998. It's an old TV with few apps and no ability to cast nor connect to your own device. Lastly, it's a Dish system and it kept pixilating so badly that it was unwatchable. The TV flashed a message on our last day and switched from dish to internet and finally worked.- The vacuum didn't work and looked like something was spilled on it.- There were rugs left in the dryer and by the time I found them, they were smelly and gross.- The half bath light is broken.We reported all of this to Vacasa, some of it more than once. Their central-contact center was responsive; we got no actual help from local property mgmt. This was my 13th trip to Telluride, my 12th VRBO - this was the worst one, by far.

Nice place just needs an update

Pros: Great location. Easy walk to dining and Gondola Secure garage parking Small balcony for 2 to enjoy the outdoors All codes to get in received timely No complex departure rules like some have. Excellent shower Cons Blinds literally falling apart Could use a comfy chair to relax in While not a requirement I love places that have coffee available. We got in late so couldn’t buy any for the first morning. No remote for sound system We weren’t there in ski season so no comments on that element. Overall recommend. Hopefully those blinds get fixed soon.

First time telluride visit

The location was excellent. A little disappointed that the balcony was so small when the picture showed the next door balcony which is very large. The unit was supplied very well. Two suggestions would be to put a TV in the bedroom and get the building owner to turn off the heater in the hallway which caused the room to be very warm during the day and into the evening. We would stay here again.

Perfect Ski Vacation

This place was located perfectly in mountain village within walking distance to shops/restaurants/ski lift and Gondola to town. The apartment was well acquainted with everything you needed to stay in and cook and the space could easily fit 4 people. Would 10/10 stay here again and excited to return next winter.

Good location

Even though it’s off season gondola being closed to transfer you from mountain village to telluride this place is very accessible still for bus services , nice location very relaxing . I would stay at this place next time we visit Colorado

Sticky Fingers?

Very nice, clean, unit in a great location. I would give it 5 stars except for two things. First, the TV did not work. When I called to report it, I was told I’d be contacted soon, but no one ever did. (Similar to Araceli R.’s review June 2021). Second, we left some clothing in one of the drawers and called to let them know the next morning after we checked out. They said they would send someone over to get the articles and send them to us for a small fee, which we agreed to. After a week, I called to check since we had not received a package and they claimed housekeeping did not find any clothing. It was our mistake to have left the clothing, but we knew specifically what and where we left the clothing. So, someone either stole them, or they just didn’t want to go through the trouble of sending the clothing to us.
