Sleeps up to 10 across 4 bedrooms + loft, with a private hot tub, gym, theatre room, and indoor games for rainy or winter days. Lake Huron at your doorstep (no steep stairs) plus a fully equipped kitchen and dining for 10.

Beautiful cottage on the lake, steps to downtown Bayfield

This was the perfect family cottage - directly on the beach and just a few minutes to walk right into Bayfield. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the water is beautiful at this location - very clear and great for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. The hosts were extremely courteous and were excellent to communicate with. Thank you so much for a great vacation!

Just So Beautiful

First off, the communication (welcome package) was simply amazing. The house was very accurate to the description and pictures. We came for the sunsets, but nothing can describe how beautiful they were. Sitting in the hot tub when the sun is setting is next level awesome. The house was so warm and comfortable, it has so many extras. Our stay was incredible. Thank you Zac and Maddison.

The house is beautiful; the location can not be beat; and the surroundings are immaculate.The house is very well equipped with every amenity you can hope for to include a beautiful gas fireplace and a hot tub that overlooks the lake.The owner is so easy to work with and is quick to respond.Bayfield is amazing and we hope to return.

Ladies Weekend

MacArthur Park was the perfect spot for our Ladies Weekend. Zac was super responsive, very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and had a great time. The property is spectacular (best sunsets in the world!) and walking distance to Main Street. Bayfield has a beautiful and thriving downtown core (one of the prettiest small towns in Ontario) and it’s just a short walk from the house. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Zac, for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

A quiet oasis

Beautiful Cottage on the Water

Perfect girl’s getaway!

MacArthur Park Cottage was the perfect place for our “girl’s getaway”. The house is clean, comfy and spacious. Stocked with everything you need and lots of extras! Beautiful views, quiet setting, but also just a short walk into the quaint village of Bayfield with plenty of shops, restaurants and interesting history. Zac was very accessible for any questions and has the most detailed and informative digital welcome book I’ve ever seen. Such a great help! We will definitely plan to return!

Waterfront cottage

The property is perfect-great deck looking over the water. New hot tub was a welcome addition. Cottage was fully stocked with all that a person would need. The owners have thought of everything whether you are a family with kids or adults looking for a fun getaway. Would recommend this property to anyone

Beautiful views!

We stayed here for a spring getaway with our friends. As soon as we walked in we could not get over the beautiful views. We really lucked out with the weather but regardless it is such a perfect getaway. The kids loved the loft sleeping space, all the games and waking up and playing pool every morning not to mention the easy access to the beach with tons of beach toys! The extra fridge space for beverages was so convenient and we loved the coffee bar and all the places to enjoy the magnificent view. Zac was very easy to work with And we would love to return in the near future!

Perfect Place with a Stunning View!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this home away from home. All of our needs were anticipated, there was lots of room for 6 adults, a teen and a baby, and the view was out of this world. We needed some downtime while I continue to recover from cancer surgery, and this property checked all the boxes. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend! -tip - the Pink Flamingo bakery is a short walk away and their treats are awesome!

Doesn’t Get Much Better !

Beautiful property in a wonderful location . Right on the lake and a lovely stroll to the restaurants and shops of Bayfield . The house was spotless and extremely well -appointed with all the amenities . Zac was a gracious host - very approachable and helpful . The only complaint - we couldn’t stay longer !! We will be back .

Better than promised!

The home was so spacious, well equipped, and location was perfect. Our family of 9 ,3 generations, had tons of space to relax, enjoy indoors and outdoors, use the lake, BBQ, fire pit, quick walks into town for shopping or treats, everything we were hoping for and more. Zac was a great host, ever-responsive to any of our questions. It certainly had a homey feel too, although much of it has been modernized; it was clear this was a well cared for cottage for years before it became available to rent. Definitely on our list for a return visit!

Intimate writing retreat

This was a beautiful location, with inspiring views of the lake, sunrise colours and brilliant sunsets--the lake's ever-changing personality, at your doorstep. It was a comfortable and welcoming space, situated in a small intimate cul-de-sac. The town of Bayfield, just an invigorating stroll away with its quaint shops and friendly people was a Christmas wonderland. Early morning walks along the beautifully lit pier were enchanting. Roomy, comfortable and inviting--this was a great getaway.

Wonderful property - wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful 3 night getaway at Zac and his sisters cottage. Zac helped make our stay absolutely wonderful by ensuring all our questions were answered and provided us with a terrific electronic book about his cottage and Bayfield area. The cottage was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and we were thrilled to have two absolutely beautiful days in November with plus 20C temperatures and brilliant blue skies. The pictures of the cottage are accurate. The views of Lake Huron And the sunsets are spectacular. And if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind then this is the place. We have rented many properties in several countries and this cottage is right up there with some of our favourites. The welcome goodies were a nice touch. Thank you Zac for being such a wonderful host and we look forward to staying at your cottage again down the road.

My sister and I purchased this cottage from our grandfather's estate in October of 2020 with the intent of turning it into a cottage rental. Prior to becoming a cottage rental, the cottage was owned by our grandparents, Robert & Doris MacArthur. Growing up we made many wonderful memories at “Camp Grandma". We enjoyed tea parties and painting on the back deck that overlooks Lake Huron, playing board games on the screened in porch on rainy days and took short strolls up to the Heritage Bayfield Main Street! Our family recounts wonderful memories playing pool in the rec room, fishing on the Bayfield River or watching the sunset over the lake while roasting marshmallows over the fire!

Our grandparents' wish was that this cottage continues to be cherished and enjoyed, just as our family has done over the past 25 years. Our hope is that your stay will create precious memories that will last a lifetime!

Bayfield is a charming jewel on the Lake Huron coastline. It is a dynamic entertainment hub with events and festivals in town all year long. From the popular “Christmas in Bayfield” to Canada Day fireworks, Bayfield is the perfect vacation destination for any time of the year.

This cottage has the best view in all of Bayfield. Our floor-to-ceiling windows along the lake side of the cottage five you a fantastic view of the marina. We are also one of only three lake level cottages. Say goodbye to walking down almost 100 steps to get to the beach!
