Super fun!

My husband and I decided to get married in a simple backyard wedding. This was the perfect spot!It turned out beautifully. Great stay and beautiful hill scenery in the back yard. We have a lot of kids in our family and this was the perfect spot.

The kids absolutely loved the pool, especially the exhilarating slide that provided hours of entertainment.One thing we'll definitely do next time is rent a golf cart. One unexpected perk was the daily trash pickup. It may seem like a small thing, but it was incredibly convenient not having to worry about trash piling up during our stay.The view from the back of the property was absolutely breathtaking. We spent countless evenings on the patio, enjoying the scenery and taking some truly stunning photos. Next time, we'll be sure to pack our telescope to take advantage of the clear night skies and stargaze.This family retreat rental exceeded our expectations. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor cabana for socializing and the flow between inside and outside kept everyone connected. House itself was wonderful. Only thing I would add would be boards with lots of hooks mounted in all of the bathrooms and maybe the garage to corral all of the damp clothing and gear. Everything ended up on the floor. Also, some kind of retractable clothesline near the washer or in the garage for drying swimsuits that don't go in the dryer would be nice.

Enjoyed by all, and the entire property was so perfect for our group of 15, aged from 6 to 70 that other than an early morning run/walk by some of us, we had no need to even leave the premises for the duration of our stay. The kitchen utensils and cookware are very well stocked.

Great Property

Overall great property. Kids and adults love the slide and the pool. Refrigerator in the kitchen needs to be replaced, would not cool the entire week even when we took all the food out and moved to the other refrigerator. We have a bunch of children so a lot of milk we needed to keep cold. Could all those kids have kept opening the fridge door-absolutely, but the refrigerator was almost as hot as outside. Still gave it 5 stars, best property.. and owners may not be aware. Property is clean and quiet and a lot of fun.

Great Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great experience. Management was very responsive and helpful. We had an unfortunate experience because of the drought. We couldn't float the river which is what we look forward to on these trips. There was a water shortage so each night the water was shut off at the house from 11pm - 6am. So flushing the toilets was an issue. Of course, that wasn't the fault of the home owners so I don't hold it against them. The slide was fantastic and so much fun! The only other issue is there wasn't a half bath downstairs nor an outdoor bathroom so after getting out of the pool you have to walk into someone's bedroom to get to their bathroom. It would be nice if they built an outdoor bathroom. The biggest complaint from the group was the mattresses. They are very thin and uncomfortable. We are a large group of adults over 40 so that seems to be an important feature for most of us these days. Regardless, I would still recommend this property and consider staying at it again if we ever go back to the Frio.

The house was clean and cool and the pool was crystal clear. Before arrival we were aware of potential water shutoffs due to the extreme drought conditions. We had a few water issues but the management team was wonderful in responding quickly to resolve. We will definitely rent with Frio Premier again.
